A wonderful family weekend in this fabulous place! There's nothing missing! The cottage is superb, the environment is perfect. We were lucky enough to have great sunshine, which allowed us to fully enjoy the pool and garden. Close to places of interest. We had a lovely week at la Bardoire. The house is very well-equipped and comfortable. Delphine is a very responsive host. There are several minor maintenance issues which need attention and then it would be perfect.

Great stay under the sun. The pool and the large outdoor table are great. The children had everything they needed to have fun. The hens had little chicks during our stay, to the delight of the children. I highly recommend this listing There are also many visits and walks to do nearby.

It was a great stay in Le petite maison. Beautiful nature, beautiful swimming pool and a huge garden. Really enjoy; here you can completely relax.

Frederic is an amazing host and goes above and beyond the normal host responsibilities. He attended to all our needs, questions, and curiosities. His property is something quite special!

Excellent stay in this haven of peace and nature in the middle of the Loire castles! Former sheepfold tastefully renovated, warm and spacious overlooking a terrace with a view of the horse meadow!!! Evelyne and Pierre are very welcoming hosts who love nature and animals, with a beautiful family estate full of life!

We had a very good stay at David's house, who was a charming, responsive and very caring host. The house was in every way in line with our expectations while we were 18: there was enough space for everyone. Bonus: the sauna and jacuzzi area that pleased both adults and children!

We really enjoyed our stayed at the Gite. The location was perfect for exploring the Loire Valley, and it was very close to Blois if you wanted to stop at a grocery store, etc. The pool was fabulous and our daughters really enjoyed it after a day of chateau site seeing. Cathy is a very responsive and delightful host and she gave great recommendations. The Gite was very well appointed and had a very nice kitchen for preparing meals. One nice surprise is that there was so many great walks you could take from the Gite, with a chateau or manor at every turn. I feel fortunate to have stayed at such a lovely place.

Geneviève is a very friendly person who has a sense of hospitality. We had a very pleasant and relaxing stay in her charming little house. With our 12 legs, we enjoyed its large garden with a bucolic charm. A special mention for his animals: dog, cat, chickens, all very sociable. The environment is very quiet . The large enclosed courtyard allows for safe parking of vehicles. A beautiful place to recommend!

I stayed at Valérie's sweet cottage for 4 days in June, and everything was perfect. The setting is so lovely - it was truly hard to leave. I highly recommend staying here and hope to return sometime soon. Thank you!

It was wonderful to stay in a home connected to the history of the Loire area and its architecture. We loved the elegant, tall windows, the high ceilings, the wide hallways, the fire places, the lovely lounge and dining rooms, the views of the climbing roses from the bedrooms along the back side of the house, the spacious, main bedroom and the large garden with it comfortable furniture. We ate outside and enjoyed the garden. The kitchen is pretty but a little narrow for a couple of people to work in there at the same time. It is well equiped, with everything you need to prepare meals. The main bathroom is spacious. The second bathroom is bath only with shower attachment in the bath. It was fine for us. The house is decorated with soft, pastel wall paper and is quite sparse in its decoration which I loved because I could enjoy the structures of the home without them being hidden by too much decoration. We loved our stay and would stay again. Carol also kindly looked after us.

Zoé and Rémy are charming and warm hosts. Very attentive to visitors, we feel that they are committed to satisfying them as best as possible. We recommend their nice and very comfortable cottage. We will gladly return, if the opportunity arises...

We spent two nights in this very nice house to enjoy the Beauval zoo. Everything was clean, quiet, beautifully decorated and welcoming with perfect communication from the start! We will gladly return if the opportunity arises and we highly recommend 🙂

This is our second stay at Solange’s beautiful, peaceful and charming property, which is perfectly located for exploring the Loire Valley. This quintessentially French property was perfect for us in every way! The kind of property we normally pass and remark on as to how lovely it looks….and it’s just as perfect on the inside too. The bed is comfy. The lounge is interesting with its unique wood burning stove and the kitchen full of interesting crockery, plus all the essentials to cook a great meal including a new Smeg oven! The shower is fabulous and it’s always lovely to find that the host has supplied a good supply of towels, loo rolls etc too! The outdoor space is really pretty and a lovely place to sip a glass of local wine. There was even a small car port for soft top car to retreat under when we had a rain shower. Thank you for your hospitality Solange and we look forward to a return visit soon.

A nice little stay for 2 to discover the Loire Valley, its castles and the Beauval zoo! The cottage is very nice, super clean, very convenient for parking and close to castle visits and bike rides! A big thank you to Claude and Carole for their hospitality, very friendly people and good advice, the cottage lacked nothing, the small terrace with the small plancha allowed us to spend good evenings! To be repeated certainly next year because we could not see everything and do everything in any case I keep the address and I highly recommend it thank you again to Claude and Carole for their kindness.

We stayed with family at Florence and Abdel's home and it was wonderful. We were 3 adults and 3 kids with plenty of space for all of us. Florence was very proactive in making sure we were accommodated and even helped with us to fix a WiFi issue. She was able to book us a nearby restaurant recommendation which was very kid friendly and open late on a Sunday which was much appreciated. The kids loved the pool, goats, chickens, and trampoline. We really had a nice relaxing time in-between sight-seeing the nearby chateaux. The only thing I would recommend is bringing your own toiletries as there was no shampoo/conditioner/body wash at the property which would have been helpful for us, but maybe I misunderstood this in the listing. Everything else was well stocked and Florence even provided coffee and milk for us. There was a great Nespresso maker and espresso machine. We really enjoyed and loved our stay. If we are in the area again we would love to visit again. Do not hesitate to book! ❤️

Beautiful accommodation with a very nice exterior. Our hosts were very flexible about arrival and departure. They advised us well on the visits to make, in particular the site of the Château de Chaumont / Loire and its magnificent gardens. The environment is superb and very quiet.

We stayed at Angélique's for 4 days. We were 8 adults. Listing is as described. Beautiful terrace where we were able to have lunch and dinner with friends. The bedroom is indeed designed to accommodate 2 children. Very nice bedding. the house is well located for castle visitors. Angelique is very responsive and attentive to our well-being. to recommend.

This property is perfect for relaxing or exploring the beautiful Loire Valley. The patio area, overlooking the heated pool and surrounding fields with horses, offers a tranquil setting, especially in the evenings when hot air balloons drift across the sky. Amboise, just 20-30 minutes away, is a charming town, ideal for a leisurely lunch.

Perfect! Everything is beautiful, perfectly clean, the interior and exterior are charming, quiet. Don't hesitate: book one or more nights!

A superb weekend for visiting the Chaumont sur Loire garden festival. David's cottage is very well located. Park with pond nearby, artist's workshop down the street, shops 30 m away... Awesome!!!!!
