Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Les Houches

If I could give 10 stars I would! The Lemon Pit was amazing. The design is so cool and efficient. The hot tub was a huge hit, he even provided crocs to wear to the hot tub. Will was very responsive and provided a guidebook for the home and area right upon booking so I had time to review before arrival. He was flexible with check in and check out. The area was quiet and the view was spectacular. The walk into town is steep, but definitely manageable. We rented bikes and took advantage of the great bike lanes. A lot of fun. I have stayed in dozens of airbnbs and this one ranks at the top. Really great house.

Exceptional view and cottage, we can't wait to go back

Our family of five from spent an unforgettable three days and three nights in lovely Chamonix and in this wonderful accommodation — the farthest point of our road trip. The children chose this place from several options and made an excellent choice. They absolutely loved the yard and terrace and would never have gotten bored! We fully enjoyed the breathtaking scenery and the cozy atmosphere of the house. We all slept well and were extremely satisfied with everything. Thank you to our hosts for the warm and friendly welcome! The cold beer from the local brewery that we received as a welcome gift after a long day of travel was absolutely perfect! Thank you also for the chocolates — receiving them in a beautiful box will surely leave a lasting memory for our youngest one. “Thank you for letting us stay in such a lovely place. Great stay for 4 of us - had everything we needed. Very modern and comfortable place with great views of the mountains. Having 2 full bathrooms was a good convenience. Host was quick to respond. Highly recommend.

Wonderful cottage with an amazing view. Very well equipped and clean. Everything is new. The place is 2 min from the Prarion gondola and close to the city center. The chalet is quiet on the authors with parking space. Thank you Christophe for your hospitality and kindness. You're at your best!

The most amazing spot! We had the most perfect stay with our 2 year old son. The house was exactly as described and spotless with the bonus of parking. The host was so helpful and very gracious, despite our timekeeping. The terrace was superb with stunning sunset views. We loved driving along to Talloires which had great restaurants, along with an amazing boulangerie (Le Fournil de mon Père). The beaches in Talloires and Angon were great. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Beautiful location with incredible views of the Mont Blanc massif from the patio. Beautiful flowers everywhere! It’s nice to be a step away from Chamonix but it is still easily accessible by train or car. Home was beautiful and in great condition. Host was very responsive and repaired an electrical issue within 24 hours. We would not hesitate to stay again.

We were so lucky to find Natachas place! It couldn't be in a more perfect spot, sitting in the Sunny garden below the snow capped mountains. Natachas radiates suchba beautiful energy and makes you feel so incredibly welcome. We had a car for our trip but you can certainly do without. Just around the corner from buses and a Bar with tapas like food and about 10mins walk to the Chamonix center. She thought of absolutely everything to make it a perfect cosy stay. It was even better than the photos. If we had the time I would settle in and relax here for weeks.

Lovely place in the middle of Les Houches

The place is in a beautiful sector 10 minutes or less from downtown Chamonix. We were in a rental vehicle and it is a pleasure to be able to park at the door of the house. It is a nice house with a good size for a family group, with everything you need to have a good stay, and from there do the excursions to Chamonix and all the attractions of the sector. Highly recommended.

This was our second stay and we’ve had a lovely time. The apartment was spotless, close to the ski bus and centre of Chamonix. Definitely be back again next year. Thank you

Well located: close to the bus station to take the shuttle and all shops and very nice river view. The storage on the 1st floor is a real plus to store all the bulky clothes when you go skiing …

We had a great time at the Grattague at Wilfried's place. Her warm and well laid out apartment is located in a quiet location. From the balcony, magnificent views of Mont Blanc and the Aiguille du Midi. Hiking departure at the foot of the residence. Wilfried is an attentive and caring host. Thanks again!

WOW! What a place to stay! Eric was amazing with his communication right throughout - thanks for the flexible check-in/check out times to match our travels by bus. Eric’s place is superbly located right in the middle of everything, so useful for walking to and from all the tourist destinations, being able to come and go easily between times, as well as the Chamonix Mont Blanc station which is free to travel up and down the train line with the guest card provided, close to the supermarkets and mini markets, not to mention just to soak up the vibe of Chamonix. And yes view from the windows right out onto the mountains is breath taking. They all open right out which was lovely when we arrived to 33 deg temps. Amenities were superb, Eric is very generous with coffee, bathroom supplies etc. Washing machine/dryer was very handy - and the shower had the most amazing pressure. Relaxing in the bath after coming back from a walk one day was heavenly. Thanks Eric for sharing your place.

Absolutely wonderful stay! We spent a delightful week in Chamonix and couldn’t have asked for a better home base. The apartment was spacious, stylish, and perfectly located—we loved being able to see and hear the river, and walk to restaurants, shops, and cafés with ease. The king-size bed was perfectly comfortable after long days of hiking and mountaineering, and the soaking tub and luxuriously oversized towels were such a treat. Our hosts went above and beyond, offering a thoughtful welcome gift (we still regret not having time to open the Prosecco!) and sharing tons of helpful info on activities for me while my husband was off on alpine adventures. We also appreciated the little touches like coffee pods and travel tissues. There was plenty of space to stretch out and comfortably relax after full days in the mountains. We would absolutely stay here again—it was the perfect mix of comfort, convenience, and charm!
