Family-friendly holiday rentals in Les Houches

Very pleasant stay in this quiet accommodation with a breathtaking view. Comfort and very high-quality equipment, we had a very pleasant weekend. Thank you to Marie for her little attention to our arrival which was very much appreciated.

Let me start by telling you this place is absolute gem 💎. The view of Mont Blanc will be the highlight of your trip. It is literally breathtaking right from the house. The Jacuzzi was awesome. The town is like a ferry tale. You will be very fortunate if you book this place. I’ve been all over the planet and this is one of the coolest locations I’ve ever stayed.

Great extended weekend at Amandine's. The cottage is comfortable and friendly. Nordic bathing is a plus. The hikes nearby are very beautiful! A small haven of peace!

A really unusual and beautifully converted little mazot or chalet. Looks characterful and rustic on the outside but it was very modern and nicely kitted out on the inside. The space is tiny but we found it perfect for two. We were there in June so could enjoy sitting out on the terrace. We are both over 6ft so had to watch our heads in the bedroom which is in the eaves. We also found the stairs very steep and tricky so would caution people who are not very sure on their feet. One had to be very careful with middle of the night trips downstairs downstairs to the bathroom! Both the living room and the bedroom have a traditional unglazed window which is sealed by a large wooden door which it is brilliant to throw open to enjoy the mountain air, even when it's raining or snowing. Very atmospheric! The mazot is in a quite spot just on the edge of town but everything is 5 to 10 minutes walk away. There is even a japanese and also a savoyard restaurant a few minutes walk away.

We had a great time! The view was amazing, and we loved the jacuzzi and sauna. We grilled outside and enjoyed perfect weather. The best part was canyoning with the kids just 10 minutes away. We’ll definitely come back!

Great people to deal with. Unfortunately we weren't able to stay due to an issue at our end but I would highly recommend based on their communication and helpfulness

Etienne is an excellent host. He is extremely courteous and helpful. The house is superbly equipped & is ideal for family holidays. We would come back anytime!

Very nice apartment on the ground floor of a beautiful chalet. The apartment is located in the heart of the Mont Blanc massif, 20 minutes from Chamonix or Lake Emosson. The apartment was very clean when we arrived. In addition, it is very well equipped (coffee machine, spices, linens, etc.) It is with great pleasure that we will return to Ilse and Edward!

I highly recommend this apartment. The location is perfect, it has a big terrace/back yard, the interior is nice and has everything you need. It also has a garage, which was perfect. Roberto was always available to answer any questions we had. We would definitely come back again.

We had a pleasant stay. The view is beautiful from the home's terrace. We came for a wedding and Jean Robert provided us with the necessary equipment to iron our clothes. Access via the key box is very convenient to arrive at any time. There are many possibilities for walks in the surroundings and the nearest shops are 5 minutes' drive away. The place is very relaxing. I recommend it for a total change of scenery.

A fabulous hideaway, so quiet, no noisy roads, no noisy people. Just perfect. Lovely and warm, very clean, full of everything we needed. Was great to just read and not have a TV And we didn't need a microwave because we were able to cook ourselves easily. Plenty warm water and so luxurious to have a bath in the apartment, fantastic!! Also Samoens has lots of reasonably priced restaurants and cafes. In addition we were able to use a couple of spare towels as a curtain in the bedroom, so no problems at all. Absolutely loved our stay at this charming apartment in Chamonix! The location at the foot of Mont Blanc is simply breathtaking. Train station and busses are just a minute away. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of the mountains!

Beautiful apartment with fantastic views! The apartment is furnished in a cozy alpine style with lots of wood – super charming and inviting. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The landlady was incredibly friendly and helpful. I felt completely comfortable and would love to come back!

We had a very good week at Lorraine's, the accommodation is very well thought out with its 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It's a luxury skiing! It is part of a residence with swimming pool, the services are good levels and it is a few minutes walk from the eggs that go up to the top of the resort. With snow, it's even accessible by ski! I wholeheartedly recommend staying! Thanks for everything!

Everything is very good... Except for me, the contact. You give it importance where you don't, but I haven't had any contact with Christele except by SMS. This is not my vision of Airbnb, but a perfectly liberal vision... Just the feeling of being a cash drawer, two text messages to remind me to leave at 10 a.m. for the next tenant and that's it. I'm giving 5 stars because I don't want to harm Christele... But maybe Christele is called Georges... Basically, I don't know... I'm probably old-fashioned... I send a final text message to inform them of my departure... And nothing, no return, not even a good road... quickly to the next!! In short, for the rest of the services... nothing to complain about, the value for money is very decent, this rental was efficient, profitable, productive. Thank you, Georges...

Very nice apartment with a lovely big living room and large windows. Well equipped, clean and tidy. A short walk to the Argentiere lifts, all important boulangerie and restaurants in the village. Justin was very helpful but not over the top. Recommended.

Very centrally located and surprisingly spacious apartment. Groceries, shops, bars and restaurants just outside the block. Clever layout and surprisingly spacious. Facilities great. Car parking good access. Ian gave good tips re ski rental, ski areas and restaurants. Would rent again.

We had an amazing time in the family house of Jean Baptiste and Carole. Everything we needed was available and the house is very charming. We had our 2 teenage girls sleeping in the extra bedroom in the hallway and this worked out perfectly. The house is so cozy and authentic we really felt at home. The kitchen was our favorite place and had everything we needed. We had amazing weather, so we sat in the sunny garden a lot. This was our first time in Argentiere, normally we stay closer to Chamonix, but we were very happy here because it was so beautiful and quiet with the convenience of everything close like busstops, supermarket, restaurant and a very good bakery. Private parking super convenient too. We would definitely visit again!
