Apartment holiday rentals in Lerwick

We were only at the flat for two nights, but it was lovely for our stay in Lerwick. It was in a great location for walking around the town and adventuring around Shetland. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook with, which was super helpful, and Tesco is close by. It was a nice end to our trip around Orkney and Shetland.

Very comfortable and well equipped flat in convenient location. Communication was easy and reliable, instructions for self check-in clear and precise.

The flat is in a perfect spot, at the quiet end of the harbour, but literally 2 mins walk from the town centre. It was very peaceful beautifully equipped and comfortable. Loved it.

Very comfortable and clean apartment with a pub at the end of the road! Close to the harbour (walking distance) and all the cafes, shops etc.

We had a wonderful stay at violets property. This a beautiful house decorated to a high standard in a quiet street close to town centre. Violte was very helpful and gave us excellent advice on the ferries . We are hoping to go back

A great location for exploring Lerwick on foot, and all over Shetland by car. The flat was easy to live in, with good facilities and lots of kitchen equipment. Robert and Anne were friendly and helpful hosts.

Highly recommended for a nice place to stay in Lerwick. Easy walking distance to the harbour and high street, right next to a shop, and tucked back from the road so very quiet.

A great wee place right in the town centre. Thank you to our host who communicated quickly and helped us check in and out with ease. Cosy bedrooms and a nice kitchen/living space to come back to after a day out. Convenient, clean and comfy - it had all we need for your short stay.

8 Kveldrso is a lovely flat to stay in. It is very clean and tidy well equipped facilities . Bed is comfy, plenty of draws for your clothes, many sensible hangers for the use of. Kitchen clean and compact . The microwave took a bit of working out but it is different mine so to be expected. There is everything you could need while there and some condiments and cleaning products to tide you over till you get to Tesco . The downside is the walk to it if you can not park in the hotel car park .

We really enjoyed our stay in this fantastic location in downtown Lerwick. Convenient free parking at the Town Hall is a plus. A comfortable bed, excellent shower and modern kitchen were all appreciated!

We had a great stay at number 9. The little house was cosy, clean and very well equipped with everything we needed for our short stay. The house is really central with shops and restaurants a few minutes' walk away. It was easy to park and only took a couple of minutes to walk to the house through pretty gardens. A great base for our explorations of the mainland!

What can we say, absolutely beautiful place with fabulous views. Gina could not have been more helpful, a beautiful cake for us on arrival, refreshments, breakfast cereals, eggs, bacon, milk, butter and a bottle of wine which after a very long trip was most appreciated. We wanted for nothing, attention to detail was faultless, if we come up again we will be disappointed if the property is booked up! Thank you again Gina and Neil

Everything about this apartment was great. Easy walk into town, car parking (free) a few yards away. Missy gave clear instructions on how to access the property. The apartment is amazing, the lounge is very comfortable and spacious, the kitchen is well appointed, the bedroom lovely with very comfy bed (great view over the harbour). The stairs from the door up to the living area might prove a little challenging for anyone with impaired mobility, but there is a sturdy rope handrail provided. The Laft is one of the best apartments we have ever stayed in.

Lovely clean, fresh,modern and comfortable apartment. Parking is great either on the premises or right outside on the quiet road. Had a super stay. Easy to walk into centre of Lerwick. We dined at Fjara and no 88 and both served delicious food, with Fjara being the best! Also recommend The original Noss boat trip Seabirds and Seals. Absolutely superb! Would recommend Craigielea for your Lerwick stay!

Had a great stay — everything was clean, quiet, and exactly as described. The host was really friendly and helpful, giving good local tips without being intrusive. Would definitely stay again if I’m in the area.

We had a fantastic time on Bressay, I'm very happy I chose this little island over the mainland, it was peaceful and quiet with breathtaking scenery and still very close to Lerwick & the big shops. The apartment itself was perfectly located within the island: a very short walking distance from the local café, shop & play park downhill - and a little longer, but lovely walk to isle of Noss uphill, ferry to the mainland wasn't too far either, around about 30-40 mins walk... Kim was incredibly nice and helpful offering us lifts & taking our luggage down to the ferry port on our last day! The apartment was perfect for our needs: lots of green area outside, lovely fresh air, beautiful surroundings, stunning views from the terrace, spacious rooms, comfortable bed & armchairs, lovely modern bathroom (++Shetland 🧼 Co toiletries 😍), compact well equipped modern kitchen. I'd love to return, thanks so much for everything Kim & Lindsay!

This was a wonderful trip and Lindsay has been the friendliest host. He has been kind enough to pick us up from the ferry terminal on our arrival and took us there on our departure. His punctual suggestions along with the location of the place came as bonuses in that they allowed us experience the treasures of Bressay with an additional awareness and an ease of access. Most definitely worth a second trip. I highly recommend Lindsay's place to fellow travelers who might want to visit the Shetland Islands. Thank you very much for everything.

With friendly, helpful hosts and a cosy, warm atmosphere, this one of the best places we’ve stayed. From the breathtaking views to the comfy and beautifully equipped accommodation with its warm and relaxing spa, Niki and Piet have created a true oasis of tranquility in a hectic world. While Shetland itself was even better than we’d hoped for, our trip was made truly special with our stay at Voortrekker.

Brilliant place to stay with amazing views! The apartment was pristine and had everything we needed, and Kim was lovely and welcoming - even being super accommodating with a late check out to give us time to do the Bressay parkrun. Would highly reccomend!

Voortrekker ranks as one of the top places I've ever stayed. Not only was the apartment very evidently thoughtfully handcrafted (half of the furniture is built-in) it was also very functional with everything well supplied, especially the kitchen. This was only made better by its location, with amazing views and perfectly positioned near the airport and for adventuring in any direction you'd wish. The spa is a fantastic addition. Lastly, Niki and Piet were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable hosts – plus they helped me out (twice!) when I had car trouble. As a woman travelling solo, the apartment struck the perfect balance of privacy/independence and security/safety. I highly recommend staying here!

We enjoyed exploring South Mainland Shetland from this lovely central location. Our hosts were very friendly and informative and nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend Voor Trekker. You would not be disappointed.
