Clean and well decorated accommodation, located on the beautiful island of Sommarøy with its crystal clear waters. Possibility of walking hikes from the house. Accommodation matches the description but kitchen and a bedroom a little small for 4 adults. However on this beautiful island it is hard to find better.

The apartment is in the city centre and within walking distance to the meeting points of the different tours that we had booked. The apartment had lots of space with 2 showers and toilets which was great. It also had great views of the harbour and we even saw the northern lights from the apartment on our last night. Adrian was extremely helpful and responsive! The only thing that we thought could be improved on was that the bed was a little too soft for our liking, but that’s our personal preferences! Would definitely choose to stay here again!

We came here to get to know Tromsø and were working remotely some days. The apartment was so nice and cozy. The Internet speed perfect for working. The terrace and view was very nice. It was the most well-equipped Airbnb I ever went to. It is a bit far from the center (as described) but we could walk it and there is also a bus. I would definitely book again.

The apartment is located in a quite neighborhood at the top of the mountain. The bus stop is only a few hundred meters away. Across the street you have a beautiful view of the city, on the last evening we watched the aurora lights above the house, the city and the stony, really very nice. For skiers (cross-country skiing) the area is perfect. There are several illuminated trails in the immediate vicinity (e.g. Charlottenlund or Prestvatnet). I also liked the Tromsø Alpinpark. They are very nice hosts, I didn't have to ask any questions at all, as everything was answered beforehand via the Airbnb app (code for the key box, Wi-Fi, garbage separation, access to the apartment, ...). Since it was not my first stay in Tromsø, I did not rely on excursion tips, but there are several brochures on the shelf for this. By bus you are down in the city in about 10 minutes. The surroundings (generally northern Norway) are beautiful.

Great place to stay for a night during a transition. The host had excellent communication and made everything easy. It’s just a 5–10 minute drive to downtown and grocery stores, which was very convenient. Clean, quiet, and just what we needed!

The minimalist design, and well-thought-out layout made us feel right at home. Everything needed for a comfortable stay was provided — from a well-equipped kitchen to a big and very comfortable bed. Cleanliness is also a big plus — the apartment was spotless and prepared with great care. The location? Quiet, peaceful, and with a picturesque view — perfect for relaxing, yet very well connected. Public transport stop was just a 2-minute walk from the apartament making it easy to get around. We were also offered free parking space for our rented car. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort and tranquility❤

The apartment is very nice. Larger than it appeared in the photographs. The spacious bathroom and the huge living room. The place is well equipped with high quality appliances. The car charging was very easy and with 32 A available. Aleksander is always available to answer all questions. We just thought there were no bedside tables in the bedroom.

This house offers an extraordinary view of the sea and the Northern Lights on the beautiful island of Sommarøy. The decor is impeccable, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere, especially with the warm fireplace that adds to the charm. The house is fully equipped with everything needed for a wonderful stay, and it is conveniently located close to Tromsø and the ferry to Senja. Runne was an excellent host, always attentive and even gave us Northern Lights alerts, which made our experience even more special. A perfect choice for anyone visiting Sommarøy!

Very nice and clean accommodation. The landscape is very peaceful. The host is friendly and really very responsive to messages. We didn't miss anything. If we come back to this area we would rent this place again without hesitation!

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The house was updated and had everything we needed and even some things we didn’t know we needed, like snowshoes! Evelyn and Jim told us when the lights were visible and the house was a perfect place to see them.

Anita and Björn are amazing people! We were well received, showed us and explained everything the cabin. Invite us to extend to them at home for tea with pastries Anna made including strawberry jam and homemade raspberries. Get to know a little bit of local people - it's her one-of-a-kind life, that's why we love Airbnb. The latte is cute, has all the basic and necessary things. The bedrooms are upstair with quite steep stairs, at night it is a bit difficult to get down to the toilet. We got along with a family of 4 people. For 3-4 nights it is quite reasonable to stay in the cabin and compromise on the comfort of a larger, more well-equipped home (and also more expensive). Total pretty good value for the price. The Great Benefits - Perfect location to see the Northern Lights. We saw a few times right next to the house. There is also a nearby car park 3 minutes drive. There is a natural slide in the garden and the kids played for hours in the snow and slide. The sauna is just something extremely rare - a must try, unusual experiences! With sea view and warmth with trees. (Extra charge).

We had a wonderful stay at Gunnar's apartment - what a view! The apartment is on two floors, spacious, well equipped and lovely and warm. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights from the outside deck. The neighbourhood is very peaceful and it's an easy 20 minute walk into the main area of town for bars, restaurants and museums. It's an 8 minute walk to Polaria bus stop for the 42 bus to the airport. We highly recommend.

Phailin's place was beautiful. the location was superb with a great view. There is a supermarket very close by and the bus stop is very close as well. The connectivity to the main city and airport was very very good. The place was exactly as described, and had all the amenities. Phailin was very helpful and responsive. She had stocked up the kitchen well and we could have a good meal easily. we had a great time. we were traveling with two small kids and Phailin's place was perfect for us

Roshild’s apartment is very clean, tidy, and offers a stunning view of the open sea and mountains, especially from the bedroom and the beautiful winter garden. It’s well-equipped with everything you might need – both in the kitchen and the bathroom. I’m quite particular when it comes to cleanliness, and this place absolutely met my standards. The only small suggestion I’d make is to add a coffee machine in the kitchen. Roshild and her sister were always quick to respond and very helpful. During check-in, they gave a nice little tour of the apartment, the building, and even the underground garage. The entire complex is modern and feels very safe. Overall, a wonderful stay!

A little piece of paradise. Everything you need is in the house. Lots of nature and birds just outside the window. Less than 10 min with the car to closest supermarket. Fjords all around. Friendly hosts. Loved it

Nice place with good location! Had everything we needed.

A very cozy cabin with parking and a washing machine. It is a bit far from the bus station. If it is summer or when the road conditions are good, it is no problem to walk. However, because of the slope, it is not suitable for carrying heavy luggage. The host couple were very kind and responsible. They helped us confirm the correct bus information and also helped us book a taxi to the airport. Highly recommended!

The apartment is huge and very modern. It has large windows and it ´ s very bright. The beds are comfortable. We would come back

Lovely apartment. Cosy decor and lots of amenities. Felt very at home. Very warm heating and good layout. Host was very responsive and helpful. We saw the northern lights from the balcony too. About 1 hour walk into Tromso but you can get bus from outside the flat.

I spent a week in the apartment and liked it very much! The bed is comfy, the sofa is big and the view is just amazing. If you are lucky you can see the Northern Lights directly from the apartment. The kitchen was missing a few basics in my opinion (kettle and cutting board) but as everything else went really good and Malin was very responsive I will still give a 5 star review. 🙂
