Beautiful home. Relaxing location by the water. Perfect home for families with kids! Sue had loads of toys to keep the kids entertained.

Such a lovely getaway with the kids. We all loved the pool table, games and most of all the hot tub! The house was lovely, surrounded by nature. All rooms were comfy. I will note no shampoo, conditioner and body wash was supplied so we had to duck out to grab some. Thanks for the stay! We’d happily stay again.

Couldn’t recommend this place more! Vicki and Roger were the so kind and helpful our whole stay, made us feel right at home. It was a an absolute pleasure to stay in your cabin. The scenery and farm friends we loved and the hot tub was a lovely bonus! Everything was clean and we had everything we could need.

It was a beautiful spacious place for a group of good friends to tour the Hunter region. It was central to most places making it easy to drive everywhere. Dan and Ariane were friendly and accommodating with our needs. A great place to relax!

Antonina was a lovely host, who responded straight away to any questions we had. The home was just as described very beautiful with lovely surroundings. We felt so relaxed in this beautiful private surroundings. Would definitely recommend and we will hopefully be coming back in Easter.

We stayed at Armando's for the long weekend while visiting family in the Newcastle area. The house is inviting and beautifully furnished, and was perfect for our group (6 adults + a very energetic toddler!). Everything was clean and tidy, the kitchen was well equipped, and having two full sized bathrooms made our lives so easy. Ducted air con meant the house stayed nice and cosy despite the chilly temperatures outside! The back garden is very serene - we just wished we had more time to enjoy it! Shops nearby meant we could pick up essentials easily, plus grab takeaway if we needed. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would 100% recommend this lovely house!

My partner and I stayed in Cadair Cottage 1 and we really really enjoyed our short time here. We were only here for a couple of nights but would have loved to extend our trip. There is so much to like about this place. Firstly, the surroundings are just absolutely beautiful - you are in nature and if you’re coming from a city landscape you’ll switch off so quickly. The cottage itself was spotless and had such a homely feel. All of the amenities you’d need with a fireplace, stove top, wifi, tv with foxtel and streaming - beautiful bedrooms and comfortable linen. The hot tub is also so nice to relax in and watch the sun come down. The yard (which is fully fenced) offers an expansive play area for your furry friends and our girl Peppa absolutely loved her time here too. She had so much fun. You are visited by neighbouring sheep and cows and it’s truly magical to watch them graze and trail by. Thank you, Simone - we can’t wait to return to this beautiful property again.

Paul has a lovely home and was a great host. No issues with our stay and Paul was very responsive. All in all, a great trip!

Beautiful property. Loved the nest! Lots of lovely walks and different places to unwind on the property itself. Waking up to all the birdsong was glorious. We had a really lovely relaxing stay - thank you very much Christine.

We loved staying at Rod’s place. It was so cute, very tidy and clean, well appointed with comfy beds. Plenty of room for a family or a group of friends with 3 queen size bedrooms a sofa bed and two bathrooms. We appreciated the treats left for us- so thoughtful. The location was handy to everything we needed and we would absolutely stay here again.

We loved our stay at Lauren’s place! Beautiful, modern interior, walking distance to Shoal Bay for restaurants, pub, bike hire or to watch the dolphins at sunset. Or for the more intrepid, lots of hiking options right out the back door. The house was so well-equipped we also spent some days enjoying the pool, pizza oven and outdoor entertaining area. Highly recommended!

This was the most beautiful place to say - I can’t express how the even though the pictures looked amazing- they didn’t do it justice. We were blown away and that sunset on the water was breathtaking. Felt so homey and we didn’t want to leave. I will be back - just delightful and the host were so kind and accomodating. Great house to stay in! Very spacious and close to the beach/shops and a short drive from other surrounding beaches and shops. Amazing price for what you get as well. Lovely back yard and easy to get in to.

The house was very clean and fresh, super cozy and homely. Corinne went above and beyond to accommodate us, even down to leaving us groceries that suited our family to make breakfast and snacks. She also gave us a run down of the area and things to do and see. We will definitely aim to stay here next time we’re visiting.

My friends & I booked Jenny’s place last minute solely based on all of her previous reviews and we were not disappointed at all! We got unlucky with some rain on our second day, but upon arrival we enjoyed helping Jenny feed the ducks, chickens & horses. She was an amazing host & left us the yummiest silky chicken eggs. We spoke about her journey in acquiring the many Arabian horses she had on her farm and wished we were able to do the farm tour if weather had permitted. I am definitely looking to come stay here again very soon!

This is the second time we’ve visited Paul’s place and hopefully they’ll be another. It’s a quintessential Australian coast house, full of character and warmth. The beach is across the road and you fall asleep with the sound of the ocean. Heaven! Great back yard, everything you need and Paul is a 10 out of 10 host!

Terry’s place was perfect for our Hunter getaway, and Graham went above and beyond as host. Great location for getting around wineries and restaurants, and 3-minute walk to the brewery and pub down the road made for an absolute no-brainer at night. Accomodation is everything you’d need: perfect for a single, or a couple, or adults +kid/s, etc, plenty of space in the large main room with separate kitchen and separate private bathroom/laundry. Cannot recommend this place and Graham highly enough, what a legend! Cheers mate, we’ll see you again.

Peaceful location, had a great girls weekend away 💜 next time I’ll just remember to bring more bug spray, there were more mozzies than I expected to be at the location, and I did not come prepared enough as the person who is generally the one bitten in the group, this is an error on my part

Needing somewhere to stay while working in the area & wow what a find! I couldn’t wait to finish work and get back to enjoy this place. Bonus having a beautiful dog greeting. Hosts are down to earth great people and make ya feel at home while also giving you privacy. I absolutely loved the uniqueness & detail and all the comforts of home plus more!

We had a wonderful stay at Victoria’s place. The place itself was stunning and it was filled with beautiful and thoughtful touches such a bottle of wine and breakfast food ready - even fresh eggs! Victoria met us and walked us through the place and even let us check out late. We’d definitely recommend this place.

Edwina and her husband were lovely hosts, and Elfin Hill is a great complexthat is well appointed and maintained. We enjoyed our visit.

Our extended family had a wonderful long weekend at Windmill Lodge. There is lots of space and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for large groups. We also made use of the wood fire for pizza and the extra large paella pan. Lots of lounges and seating and a big long dining table perfect for large groups. Tanya was very helpful is setting up extra beds as we required and we felt very at home.
