Holiday rentals with breakfast in Leh

This is a wonderful guest house, very helpful and friendly and in a perfect location for exploring Leh.

Without exaggerating we can easily say that this was our best airbnb-stay so far in any country. Stanzin is a very warm and friendly woman who gave us a heartily welcome in Leh and helped us planning trips etc. We had very interesting conversations with her and are very happy to have met her! The room is a highlight with a huge bed, a big and clean bathroom and a great terrasse! Don't get me started about the food she served us, because that was very tasty as well - no need to go to a restaurant at all! We highly recommend a stay at Stanzin's home!!

Even though we faced water and electricity outages during our trip, caused by heavy rain, Padma and her family provided water in buckets and still prepared breakfast and dinner for us. Padma also gave us recommendations and tipps what to eat and explore. Our stay gave us enlightening insight in the life of locals which we wouldn’t like to miss. The only downside was to use the bathroom during the night or early morning which is only reachable by taking the stairs outdoors.

Immediately felt at ease and welcomed. Stanzin and her family provided exceptional hospitality throughout our visit. Stanzin's proactive communication about the area and directions was much appreciated. Once we settled in, we experienced great comfort. The home and room were impeccably clean and boasted wonderful furnishings. The meals prepared by them were not only incredibly tasty but also offered a variety of choices. Going above and beyond, they even thoughtfully packed biscuits for our onward travels. I wholeheartedly recommend Stanzin's accommodation for anyone seeking a place to stay in Thiksey/Leh.

Tsewang’s place in Leh was the perfect stay during our Ladakh trip. The home is clean, cozy, and offers beautiful mountain views. Tsewang is a fantastic host—friendly, helpful, and always available for anything we needed. The location is peaceful yet close to the main town. We truly felt at home and would love to come back. Come here if you want to experience authentic Ladakhi rural lifestyle with a really kind and sincere family! As written in my last reviews, this is a gem in Phyang village. Below is a few extra highlights from my last stay: 1. Perfect location in beautiful Phyang village. Just a 15-minute walk to Phyang monastery. 2. You can enjoy the quiet and peaceful rural lifestyle without being too far from Leh where you can go to nice cafes, restaurants and do all your shopping. 3. You can observe a sustainable agricultural practices that contain tons of traditional Ladakhi wisdom, which the modern world needs to learn from. 4. The food is top-notch! Everyone in the family is superb cook! Ms. Sonam and Mrs. Rigzin will feed you with the best food on earth! 5. The room is modern and clean, with amenities comparable to a hotel room 6. For your information, the farmstay is 30 min from Leh market by taxi, which will cost you 600 rupees. There are also buses that will cost only 20 rupees one way.

It's a perfect place to stay in Hemis... very warm family, very attentive, who greets hosts with good heart and nice food. I warmly recommend this homestay if you want to have an authentic and pleasant stay with a ladakhi family.

I had an amazing stay. The accommodation was exactly as described and even exceeded my expectations. The space was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Mr Tsewang and Nubu were incredibly hospitable and responsive, making sure that all my needs were met throughout my stay. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. I highly recommend staying here and would definitely book again in the future.

Never have I ever felt so much at home in an Airbnb that we felt at Mrs. Wangmo’s place. She hosted us like family. It’s a beautiful house with spacious rooms, full time electricity & hot water supply in the bathrooms all day. We were proactively provided all the information we needed to locate the place, check in, & get comfortable. It is located right on fort road, at a walking distance from all great restaurants, bike rental shops, basically the entire main Leh market. We even experienced planting dahlias in the farm & I thank them for letting us do that! My brother even got sick from all the travelling & we were provided with every kind of support required. Words aren’t enough to describe how sweet & hospitable the couple is. They even cooked us homely breakfast everyday which was so comforting. We talked a lot whenever there was a chance to. I genuinely felt attached to the place & it was quite an emotional moment when we checked out. Highly recommended to stay here when in Leh!

Had a really good time staying here. Located outside the city, it's the perfect place to enjoy nature and experience the local culture and lifestyle. Ideally located to visit the various monastries and tourist attractions around Leh. They have a beautiful kitchen garden with variety of fruits and vegetables, and also host to different types of birds. The hosts, Dechen and Shakuntala are really welcoming, and make you feel right at home. Got to learn a lot from the interesting conversations with them. The food is simple amazing, and they use their own home grown vegetables. Highly recommended for people who are looking to have a peaceful time and get a true experience of the beauty of Ladakh and it's people.

When we first stumbled upon this property on AirBnB, it seemed almost too good to be true. There must be a catch! But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Tashi is the most thoughtful, gracious host. He provided us with all the information we needed and showed us around. The property is just perfect! The bed is comfortable, bathroom and terrace are excellent. Location is incredible. Tashi had excellent restaurant recommendations and was of great help. He also helped us arrange taxis and two wheelers for our daily commute at the best price.He went way beyond to make our long-weekend comfortable and memorable.
