Family-friendly holiday rentals in Lefkada

This was a really beautiful holliday for us. Relaxing, easy going, everything was in hand. We had a lot of space in Dimitris home, beautiful big patio, spacious rooms, good place to park a car in natural shade. The house is equipped with mosquito nets on every window and door. Dimitris family was there for whatever we needed, and really promptly. Tsoukalades is a little village a few kilometers from Lefkas town. Yet, it has 2 or 3 supermarkets, a bakery, a pharmacy, restaurants. Beaches are near, but you will need a car for that. So, everything is convenient. As for our stay, we also had a good company in our garden with big old olive tree, flowers and fruits. A big adoring family of mom cat and 6 little kittens made our stay really unforgettable. We will come back for sure. Thank you all for being so open hearted and welcoming❤.

Our stay was great. Not only the quiet, yet central location convinced us, but also the outstanding hospitality. Since we were the only guests, we were able to use the entire facility. Dimitris gave us very good tips for activities and restaurants and was immediately available when there was a small problem. The farewell gift we received on the day of departure was a touching surprise. We felt very comfortable and can fully recommend this apartment.

Superbly equipped, private villa located at the edge of Lefkas with beautiful views over the sea. Maria allowed us an early check in and was always easily available for us and very friendly. The villa is extremely clean, and the kitchen is fully equipped (dishwasher, microwave, toaster, raclette machine, oil, pepper, salt, cleaning utensils, a big plus is the outdoor kitchen, which is also excellently equipped. A gas grill is available. We enjoyed the saltwater pool lit in the evening, which is cleaned every morning, in addition there are plenty of lounging and seating options for a warm summer day. In the meantime, even our towels have been switched. The view over Lefkas and over the sea is unbeatable. We felt very comfortable and would fully recommend a stay with Maria and George!

We had a fantastic time staying at the Ionion Diamond Villa in Mikros Gialos which was our first time staying on the island of Lefkas. The property was beautiful in a fantastic location overlooking the bay with everything we needed provided for, we especially enjoyed the infinity pool with it’s views! Alexandra was a fantastic host who was living next door so the check-in process was a lot easier than we realised (some places we are used to just a key safe!). She provided really good advice on the local area and the wider island which was really helpful to make the most of our holiday. It was great to be able to take the short 10 mins walk down into the village to the local supermarkets and restaurants (would recommend The Molos and Zolithros restaurants). Local beach was lovely too (pebbles but great water) Lefkas as an island was lovely but very busy in peak summer period with the number of visitors, we would return but probably at a quieter time so to enjoy more of the island

It was a perfect stay, the house is beautiful, clean and the view is amazing! You have the pool jacuzzi, ect! You can stay only up at the house if you want! A place you want yo come back

We spent a wonderful week at Urania’s Luxury Villas on Lefkada – two adults and three children – and were truly amazed from the very first moment. The location is incredibly peaceful, surrounded by nature, with a stunning view of the sea. A beautiful walk leads to a small private beach – a real highlight. The villa itself is a dream: tastefully furnished, perfectly equipped, and filled with loving attention to detail. You can truly feel the special energy of this place – calming, inspiring, and simply unique. Urania is an exceptional host. Always available, warm, and thoughtful – yet never intrusive. Our children had the joy of painting Easter eggs and baking crêpes with her – an unforgettable experience for all of us. We will definitely be back. Thank you for letting us experience this magical place!

We had a lovely stay at this home! It’s wonderfully located at the end of a long bump track, close enough to Sivota for dinner, drinks and ice cream. Definitely need a car to get around but once you’re at the house you have a stunning infinity pool, a private path down to the sea and a hot tub. It’s quiet, calm and has a lot of character. Make sure to get a food, coffee and wine shop before you arrive with all the essentials. We’d love to come back again! Our second time in Sivota and this was a brilliant base. We were 4 adults and 4 children / babies!

An absolutely delightful wooden house surrounded by greenery and quietness, filled with loving details and generous outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy. Jim and Eva have been wonderful hosts who made us feel like family. We can't wait to be back and would rate our stay with 6 stars if Airbnb would allow it.

A very nice place. We arrived very late and even delayed but this was no problem at all. We had telephone contact and Chris quickly came to explain and escort us inside so that we could put our daughter to bed. It was very clean and the private pool was super. Now the second villa happened not to be rented, so even more privacy, but even if it were, you have enough privacy. Tip for the island: Rent a car. The cottage is a perfect point to go in all directions from there. The only tip is to have more tea towels and dishcloths for the kitchen.

Christina and Stavros were very kind, cheerful and communicative, we felt like we went to our relatives. The environment was spotless, in 10 steps you were in the most idyllic spot of Lygia Lefkada with excellent options to relax, eat well and swim. It will definitely be our first choice when we visit Lefkada again!!!

The villa is set in a very peaceful setting but it is not isolated with lovely places to eat just a couple of minutes walk away and opposite a place where you could hire bikes and water activities equipment as well as go for a drink, play pool and board games and swim in their larger beautiful pool. Having this across the street was a real bonus as we could go for a drink after eating and we had a lot of fun with the people that run the bar and the locals that also go there most nights. The villa is ideal for families and Nikos was always responsive to anything we asked with lots of recommendations for places to go, beaches, restaurants and anything else we asked about. The villa is very well equipped and he even supplied insect repellent tablets and things to burn outside. Overall I would really recommend this accommodation.

Had an absolutely fantastic time here! The location is great, the house is very nice and comfortable; easily accessible by car! She is a fantastic host and is extremely warm and welcoming! She gave us wonderful recommendations and was very easy to get in touch with if we had any questions. We hope to come back in the future!

Beautiful views beyond the sea , little noise from the street, rather quiet. Great every day room service. Super restaurant from the owner around the corner All around excellent only wifi worked only on the doorstep. Highly recommended!

Amazing house with nice garden, roofed bbq area and small private beach. Equiped with everything you need. Everything is clean and as described. Beds are comfortable. Supermarket and really nice fish taverna reachable in about 10 minutes by foot. Dimitrios and his parents really are amazing hosts. They were very helpful in every way and even prepared food for us. Very hopitable without ever being intrusive. I can absolutely recommend this place as for me that was the best airbnb experience I have had so far to be honest.

Rest, prve and nature. If this appeals to you, this is a fantastic location. If you want more excitement, Nidri is within 20 minutes' walking distance. Close to the house is also a great restaurant. The garden is an olive grove where we spent many hours lying in the hammocks. Thank you Voula

Our stay was fabulous and the villa exceeded our expectations with a wonderful pool and an ample sized terrace. Daphne was amazing and went above and beyond to help with all our requests. However if you are not great with walking up and down steps, of which there are 140! the path down to the harbour is a little challenging so we had to resort to hiring a car as we are 3 mature ladies!! The car rental was beautifully organised by Daphne with no problems at all. We had an amazing week and will definitely book the villa again.

This is a great villa with exceptional views. Very well equipped and extremely peaceful. Our three boys loved being so close to the village Astro pitch too. The village is very authentic and a great location to explore Lefkas town and the west coast beaches. Highly recommend

We wanted to see how Lefkada looked in winter, so we rented Kostantinos’s villa. We loved it because it allows pets, has central heating, is spacious, and has a beautiful garden. We loved our stay there also because it was very quiet and relaxing.

Had a great week @ the Ionian Nest, the accommodation was as per the listing, very clean with good linens & furnishing, well stocked kitchen, plenty of crockery pans etc. Quiet setting, 14 units & only a handful occupied so was quiet, pool area was quiet. Lovely balcony area. Really good well stocked supermarket 5 minute walk away. There are 2 restaurants locally, one by supermarket at the top of the road & Koutavos Taverna down the hill 5/10 minute walk. Both very good value with reasonable choice menu. Beach is just a couple of minutes walk, pebble beach with lovely clear water (no one else there when we went 😊) I would personally say a car is a must unless you just want a chill out holiday on the complex. Palairos has a lovely sea front area with lots of restaurants < 10 mins in the car. Susannah kindly arranged a taxi for us one evening. Worth a drive to Lefkada good place to visit with plenty of coffee bars & restaurants. Would recommended a stay & would book again.

Excellent, comfy villa with an amazing view. We really enjoyed our week; the villa is spacious and comfortable, with a large comfy bed, good sized bathroom with a powerful shower, and comfy sitting room/kitchen area. The terrace (with pool) is exceptional, with an amazing expansive view across the bay in front of Vasiliki. Plenty of room for lounging in the sun, and sundowner workouts. The villa was very clean and tidy. The kitchen was equipped to do us a couple of evening meals when we didn’t fancy going out. Great location for exploring Lefkada island; plenty of the best beaches on the island within an easy 15-30 minute drive. Also an easy 5 minute drive into Vasiliki itself, which has plenty of restaurants and two supermarkets. The host Therodorus and George were very helpful and courteous. Note a car is essential, as it’s a fairly steep 10-15 minute walk into town. Tip for drivers: steep drive in first gear up to the house. Overall: highly recommended!

Property and landlords are everything a renter would wish for. For the record, I live abroad, but I used to be a local and I know the area quite well. Katerina was very helpful well before we show up to the villa. Excellent communication, quick response in questions, full details provided, and she was very proactive in general. Her attitude and approach was very professional! We also had a baby with us and she prepared everything a baby needs! The property is exactly as expected by looking the pictures. It is located a few miles away from the sea, up the mountainside, with amazing view, amongst Olive trees. What you see and surrounds you is a true Greek countryside! The location is also as good as it gets if you want to travel around the entire island. The pool was great, there is always shade somewhere to hide from the hot sun, And it is very spacious. Overall, it is highly recommended!

**Review:** ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming little cottage, and it was an absolute dream. The location is simply unbeatable, with a breathtaking view right above the sea shore. The semi-private beach was perfect for a peaceful retreat, and we didn't even feel the need to visit the public beach. The private terrace was our favorite spot to unwind and soak in the stunning scenery. The tranquility of the place made it a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the highlights was the proximity to some fantastic restaurants, particularly Molos, which was out of this world. Being able to walk to such great dining options was a huge plus. Overall, this cottage comfort was a a little basic, but we spent most our day outdoors, so ot didnt matter. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a serene and picturesque escape!
