The Granary at Crooked Creek Ranch

TudorRating, 5 stars58 months ago
We had a wonderful stay. Pam and her husband were charming. We were pleasantly surprised after having read some of the previous reviews. The two houses are not lavishly furnished, but they were clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. A/c would be nice, but we did ok with the fans. There are a lot of bugs in Michigan, so the screens on the windows and doors were a must—we were careful to keep them closed, and were fine. The property is expansive. I enjoyed walking around and pick apples from the untended trees. Made a fantastic apple pie with them. We rented kayaks from the bike shop in Suttons Bay and paddled around the lake! Bought wood for $5 and made s’mores in the fire pit. Drove to the dunes and hiked. Visited friends in Northport and the town of Leland. Made some great dinners in the kitchen. I could go on and on...

Leelanau Peninsula Orchard House

VictoriaRating, 5 stars56 months ago
The house is situated in an absolutely gorgeous setting surrounded by beautiful orchards. There were two apple trees in full bloom right in front of the property! The Fall colors were at their peak during our stay, and the views from every window of the house were just spectacular. We loved every single detail inside the house, from the candles on the chimney and the textiles in every room, to the very well stocked kitchen (where we even found a cake stand for a birthday bundt cake we baked) and impeccably decorated corners and tables. We loved the antique finds in every bedroom as well, as well as the farm sinks and beautiful faucets that felt right out of Downton Abbey. Meghan gave us plenty of recommendations for things to do in the surroundings, and was very easy to communicate with. We would love to return to the Orchard House, perhaps next time during the Summer.

Northpoint Pines Cottage

JinnahRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Our car broke down on our way up North so we got to the house very late with no food or water because stores were closed and luckily this house had everything we needed and was so clean and cozy! We enjoyed every room and played lots of games and built a fire everyday. The guidebook was also so helpful! We enjoyed this house so much and would love to come back and stay at Darcy’s again. One of my favorite stays, thank you so much!!

rustic modern free standing studio on 15 acres

PeggyRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Abundant Heavenly Views! Saw so many shooting stars in the big night sky. Fun as we travelled to different very unique buildings for our needs…1. Cozy little barn-like sleeping quarters beautifully decorated with the most comfortable bedding. 2. bathroom building so unique with rain shower inside (and outside shower too), nice big farm-style sink & fresh towels 3. Unique kitchen/gathering barn w/great sitting area to enjoy morning and dinner table. Minimalist kitchen w/everything you need to cook a complete meal! We grilled burgers on outdoor charcoal grill! Had a bonfire at night which wood was provided! Had so much fun here with my grandkids and family!

The Farmhouse at JA! Farms

AngelaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
The home and surrounding land were wonderful. It is peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed having a fire inside many nights and also outside. Wood was available and easy to access. The kitchen has everything one would need and all the space you could ask for. Bed was comfortable. Bathrooms clean and fully functional. Washer and dryer worked perfectly. The home has many of the owners designs and we enjoyed the vibe. It’s close to town but secluded as well. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again.

Fieldhouse Leelanau County Michigan

AbigailRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Nello’s fieldhouse was wonderful! Great location in terms of proximity and very cool experience tucked away in the woods. This BnB is very spacious and has everything you could need to enjoy a comfortable getaway up north. Nello was also very thoughtful ensuring we had a pack-n-play for our infant + pulling out toys and books to keep our little one busy

The Log Cabin at Century Farm & Starry Night Barn

RachelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed in the log cabin/cottage and had an amazing long weekend. The space was tidy, comfy and cozy, and the property it sits on is absolutely stunning. We used the wood stove every evening, which was perfect for the cool evenings, and our dog June loved being able to walk and explore the grounds around the house - being a city dog, she loves being able to sniff and walk all over grass, haha. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect, peaceful place to stay, and we would love to come back! The space had everything you could need and more. Could not recommend a stay here more!

Serenity Shack

MelissaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
A little gem along M22… great location between Northport & Leland. Great trails to walk or run about 400m down the road. The carriage had everything one could need… kitchen well stocked, fresh towels, clean bathrooms, comfortable beds… they didn’t miss a beat when thinking about their guests:) My 2 kiddos loved it too-for a quick 2/3 day stay. Thank you!

Organic Vineyard and Farm Oasis

MattRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Charming and quaint. Ideal space for someone looking to get away from the busy downtown or even other wineries in the area. Nestled in a beautiful setting with very friendly staff at the winery that will tell you about their sustainable approach to wine growing in the region. Things I especially enjoyed: 1. Meeting the staff and enjoying a tasting in their tasting room 2. Having the area to ourselves after the tasting room was closed 3. Incredible star gazing 4. Quiet dinner around the camp fire surrounded by the vineyard 5. Observing wildlife in the area 6. Feeding the hens my left over snacks Would definitely book again when looking for some serenity and in the area.

Farmstead | A farm stay on the Leelanau Peninsula

MikeRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Fantastic house and property! We were here in February for a long weekend and the house was perfect. It snowed several inches and this was the best place to curl up by the wood stove with a book, explore the property with our dog, and play games with the kids. One of the cleanest rentals we’ve stayed at and every thing was just as pictured. Location is great - short drive to Northport, Suttons Bay, and even Glen Arbor for an afternoon of skiing. Cannot recommend enough!

Lavender Farm Bed & Breakfast at Luna Rosa Farms

KanoeRating, 5 stars9 months ago
There are truly not enough words to describe how incredible our stay at Luna Rosa was for an entire weekend. For starters, Fernando and Arminda are the absolute best hosts we have ever met. The property, the entire bed and breakfast, the views, the area surrounding, it's all absolutely gorgeous and incomparable. But the best part is truly the experience of staying with such amazing hosts - and the BREAKFAST?! Unreal. We rented the entire home, all four rooms, and had our best friends stay with us while at Luna Rosa as we had our wedding up north and celebrated all weekend. We truly could not have found a more perfect place to call home the whole weekend of our wedding. Truly if you have come across this Bed and Breakfast and are thinking of booking - this is your sign to BOOK IT! It will absolutely exceed all of your expectations in every way. It's such a special, special place and such a gem in Leelanau County. 1000/10.

Orchard House

StefanieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We absolutely loved our stay! Beautiful property, very private, and close to wineries! Lots to do with littles. We had 4 kids under 4, and were able to manage sleeping/nap arrangements and saftey/babyproofing. The only downside was not having curtains or blinds- for little kids who nap in multiple rooms, we really had to get creative- and the sun woke the adults up super early. The espresso machine saved us! Otherwise the hot tub worked great, and the management team was very responsive! We would highly recommend!

Vineyard Views House & Guest House, Suttons Bay

AmyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This is my second stay at the property and I have loved it more each visit. The home and grounds are so beautifully manicured and kept and the thoughtful details are so welcoming. Our whole party felt right at home and fell in love immediately. The bedding is so comfortable and the homes are so spacious that even with 15 people you still have plenty of space to breathe. The vineyard views are spectacular and the walking path to 45 North is such a cherry on top. The property is within easy drives to so many beautiful destinations, beaches and towns- and having 9 Bean Rows across the street is amazing. Highly recommend a visit- always wish I could stay so much longer.

White Stone House: Pet-Friendly Home on 10 acres!

RonRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We really enjoyed this very unique property. The house is set into the hillside on a farm, and doesn't look like much when you arrive. It is on a dirt road and feels remote despite being only 15 minutes from downtown Traverse City. The interior is clean, spacious, dog-friendly, and we felt immediately comfortable. Our dog loved the property, and we were able to let her run free. Parking was easy. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed, and the living room/dining room were perfect. The beds were comfortable, the shower was hot. Please note that the doors to the the bedrooms and the bathroom are slatted closet doors. We were there with family, so privacy wasn't a deal-breaker, but if you expect privacy in your bedroom or need it in the bathroom, you're not going to have a lot of it here. It didn't matter to us, but it might be important to some. I also loved waking up with the sun from the large skylight, and loved the selection of coffee and tea. Thanks for having us!!

Serene and Clean! Near beaches and wineries!

CarolRating, 5 stars9 months ago
I along with my two sons and grandson stayed at Annemarie's home for a few days over Labor Day weekend. The home was very clean and well equipped. Annemarie's home is located eight miles from downtown in a quiet neighborhood. Using the trail, you can bike the eight miles to the downtown area in approximately 40 minutes. We will definitely book Annemarie's home for our next visit to Traverse City.

BuckWild Farm Stay

JenniferRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had such a great stay at Buck Wild Farm with our 2 kids. They loved visiting the animals, getting the chance to feed the animals, and exploring the property. Sharon gave us a great tour of the property and it was fun learning about life on a farm. Dave took our daughter on a tractor ride which was a big hit. There was so much for the kids to do and the home was filled with toys and books and they loved the zip line outside too. The location is also great for exploring the Traverse City area with restaurants, breweries and wineries all a short drive away. We would love to visit again sometime!

What made this place so special was all the thought out little details our host included with our stay. The home was very clean and organized. Everything we needed was available. If we are ever back in Traverse City we would return to this little gem!
