Updated Harcombe, ‘a gem’ minutes from city centre

Harcombe is in the heart of Pontcanna, and just a short walk from 3 great pubs, and Chapter Arts centre. We have recently modernised and restyled the apartment. There are 6 high quality restaurants within 200 metres. The walk to the city takes 15 minutes. There are 4 coffee houses close by, and local shops for all amenities are very close also. On the weekend, The Kings Road artisan market (opposite the Coop) is a must. Pontcanna fields are close by, as are all the major event venues.

A completely self-contained annex-come-studio in our garden with access from the rear. It has everything you need for a short stay in Cardiff and is very close to lovely parks, cafes, restaurants and shops and is 25 mins walk or ten mins bus ride to town - the bus stop is right behind the annex. It is suitable for a couple, two friends (there's a pull-out single bed in the living area) or a couple with a child. We converted our garage during lockdown and created this unique and cosy space.

Cosy home, free allocated parking

You will have the whole house to yourself. The bedroom has a king size bed with mini fridge and kettle. There's a kitchen/diner, living room, bathroom and garden and another downstairs toilet. There's also a free allocated parking space. Update April 2024: Doris, the house rabbit (mentioned in the guest reviews) passed away in February, so it's it now a pet free house. The property is only 35 mins walk to the centre of the city centre and the millennium stadium.

The Cwtch has been built at the bottom of our garden, it's bright and modern and has a bedroom with bunkbeds , a shower room with toilet and sink and a kitchen/living space that has a double bed. The lounge area also has a kitchen, fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, oven, hob and tea/coffee making facilities with complimentary tea, coffee and milk. An immaculate house and private room and shower/toilet room. Recently done to a very high standard. It was in a useful location for us halfway from the city to the bay. Rupert was very helpful, allowing us to put our touring bikes in his unused front room. We had a great stay - many thanks!

Sharon made sure that our stay went as smoothly as possible, despite a late arrival. She was also available during the stay, particularly with recommendations for places to eat. The accommodation is 15/20 minutes walk away from the city centre, and close to several good restaurants. A very good stay!

Tereza is a very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable host. She gives very clear instructions, is communicative and is an all round lovely person. The apartment is clean and homely, the guest bed is very comfortable, and the bathroom lovely and clean. There is a shower over the bath and it's a nice shower. The apartment is a 15 minute walk from Cardiff Central Station and a 10-15 minute walk to Cardiff Bay, where there are many different and great places to eat. It is in a quiet and pleasant location. Tereza can give you good recommendations of places to go in and around Cardiff. Would happily stay at Tereza's again when visiting Cardiff and can heartily recommend.

Two night stay with Grant & Berwyn. Nice, clean, comfortable room, friendly welcome. We were there to watch an England cricket match at Sophia Gardens and it was an easy 15 min walk to the stadium, also close to Cardiff City centre so location was perfect. Just what we needed. I recommend this Air BnB for a visit to Cardiff!!
