Nimantrana Homestay

JoyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Its a great place and great hospitality by Swarnim and Family. The surroundings are beautiful. The only concern is the off road at the end to reach the property.Only a Tata Sumo can reach near the property, other vehicles won’t make it.The off road can scare you specially if you are travelling with elders or children. And there is a little hiking needed to reach the property. If the off road and the little hike is not a problem then the property is an ideal place to sit around and enjoy the mountains. Rooms are clean, also they will do cleaning and arrangements as per request. There are 3 connected bedrooms and a separate room. Room size is a bit small but should not be a concern. Kitchen is downstairs and the living as well.A bit stiff stairs. Overall a very nice property if you want to enjoy silence and nature. Also a good wfm destination.Hospitality is great, they will cook homely and tasty foods. leaches might be a concern outside in rainy seasons, though its common in Darjeeling.

The access is easy and convenient and the apartment is in close proximity to Chowrasta with a walking distance to it. The premises are well kept by disciplined and well mannered staff. Would recommend this place for every individual who is intending to have a relaxing stay in the heart of the town of Darjeeling

Norbu Gakyil ནོར་བུ་དགའ་འཁྱིལ

SamarthRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Had the most amazing time at Norbu Gokyil in Darjeeling! The place is super peaceful, tucked away just enough from the town to feel calm but still close enough to everything. The best part though was the lovely family hosting us — all four of them were so kind, welcoming, and genuinely sweet. You really feel like you’re staying with friends rather than just renting a place. They were always happy to help, whether it was with local tips or just chatting over tea. And their three adorable dogs made the stay even better — super friendly and so cute! The room was clean, cozy, and perfect to come back to after a day of exploring. The food was also really good and homely — just what you’d want in a place like this. Would 100% recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful, heartwarming stay in Darjeeling. Already missing it!

This is the must stay who are looking for peacfull environment, great home food, beautiful view and homely vibes. I happened to book Pema ji homestay based on reviews. She and her family is very warm and friendly. I got very comfortable with them from very first day. From sightseeing recommendation , local food recommendations, arranging cab she helped me with everything. Even she walked extra mile to help me with few things. you don't need to worry about food during ur stay as Pema ji cooks really nice meal. on my special request she prepared some local cuisine for me. I literally felt like I am eating at my own home. Talking with Pema ji and her family during meal time gave me homely vibes. The view from balcony is excellent with beautiful vally .value for money. rooms are very decent , very clean and neat. This is perfect stay for who are looking for leisure time in hills specially who are looking for stay for work from home. I highly recommend this place if ur in Darjeeling.

Emerald Hills Homestay

Hirak JyotiRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The property is located in the mid of a tea garden. Beautiful place. Perfect for spending some time in the midst of lush green scenic beauty. On top of it Rebika is an awesome host. She took care of us very well. Approaching road is not perfect. But it's worth the trouble once you reach the place.

Ahaan - Bright:Mellow:Blissful

RiyanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This place was truly beautiful. The room was exactly same as it was described rather better than how it was described. Truly very good hospitality. Ramita was very responsive all the times. She has arranged for what we've asked for. Good homely food. Ganga and the other girl was a very sweet girl and very responsive too. Lastly when we were leaving, Ramita came with us to the car to say good bye. See I know you'll get lots of Homestays with a cheeper price. But if you prefer quality time and good hospitality in a heritage bunglow then this is the place. They have so many dogs also they are friendly too. So if you are a dog lover then definitely go for it.

The Attic - A Boutique Homestay

ShashankRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Words can’t do justice to our experience at The Attic. We arrived in the evening and were welcomed with such warmth and genuine joy by Udaya and Sangeetha ji that we instantly felt at home. Every morning began with a beautiful, lovingly prepared breakfast hosted by the most wonderful people we were privileged to call our hosts. Udaya, with his infectious enthusiasm, boundless energy, and incredible stories, made it so hard to get up from the table and start our adventures. After long, fulfilling days exploring, we’d return to their comforting hospitality that recharged us like magic. I’m in awe of Udaya’s unwavering love, determination, and effortless grace in preserving his family’s heritage and way of life. It’s inspiring to witness such genuine care and passion in every little detail. I’m running out of characters to describe how truly special this place and its people are — but if you get the chance to visit The Attic, grab it with both hands. You’ll never forget it.
