House holiday rentals in Lauzerte

We were a group of 6 and had a fantastic time in Rachel's house in Thédirac. The kitchen was very well equipped for us to prepare meals, there were lots of lovely outdoor places to sit and eat, the garden was beautiful and well maintained (and a great source of herbs for cooking), and it was a real treat to walk to the bakery each morning for fresh bread and croissants. It was about 30-60 mins drive from the main attractions, which was fine for half-day or day trips. Couldn't have asked for more.

Wij hebben een geweldige week gehad in dit huis. Het ontbreekt je aan niets, mooi meubilair en heel smaakvol ingericht met aandacht voor leuke details. Ook buiten ruim voldoende en comfortabel meubilair en verlichting voor als het donker wordt. Het zwembad is werkelijk fantastisch, wij hebben er dan ook van ‘s ochtends vroeg tot ‘‘s avonds laat gebruik van gemaakt. De omgeving is heel rustig en idyllisch. Limogne-en-Quercy op fietsafstand met een goede supermarkt, bakker en bio- winkel. De communicatie met Joffrey en Elsa is prima, vriendelijk en je krijgt snel reactie op vragen.

Nathalie and Tim were such extraordinary hosts! My family and I had a wonderful time staying in their beautiful home! The house itself is perfect for cooking, relaxing, and spending time together. We were able to enjoy the wonderful gardens and the pool all day and watch the sunset from our patio each evening. Such a stunning and relaxing atmosphere. The best part was how well taken care of we felt all week. Nathalie helped organize a tour of local vineyards, scheduled a wine tasting by the pool, and cooked dinner for us all on 2 evenings. She also had great local restaurant and market recommendations! We also loved our morning chocolatines and croissants! They were extremely kind and accommodating throughout the trip - delivering bottles of wine when we ran short, lending us a pot so that we could cook a big stew one night, and even working a miracle helping me removing a grenadine stain from a white dress I bought at a local market. I can’t recommend this wonderful home enough!

Nous avons passé une semaine au domaine Le Martinet chez Hilde et Victor. Ce fut un véritable bonheur ; tout est fait pour se sentir bien dans ce gîte absolument charmant. Calme et douceur de vivre caractérisent ce très bel endroit. Le gîte est très joli, très propre et très bien équipé. Tout est de très bonne qualité, de la literie à la plancha, les fauteuils de jardin sont une invitation à la paresse. Les transats au bord de la piscine nous permettent aussi de profiter d une très belle vue sur la campagne. Les nuits étoilées sont superbes. Ajouté à cela des hôtes absolument adorables, au petit soin et très soucieux de faire de cet environnement un petit paradis 🙏

This is probably the best Airbnb property we have ever stayed in. It is in a peaceful location, set in very well maintained gardens, and with lovely views of the surrounding countryside, particularly from the outdoor dining terrace and the swimming pool. Tastefully renovated, it is also decorated, furnished and equipped to a very high standard, and the leisure and games facilities (swimming, table tennis, snooker, table football, boules) are exceptional. The Lot and Aveyron valleys, with their spectacular gorges and picturesque hilltop towns and villages, are as scenic as the Dordogne but much quieter and less frequented, and we spent three happy days exploring the area. The hosts, Fanny and her mother Marie, are extremely friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. We would love to return to the property in the future.

We had an Absolutely fabulous family holiday! Laurent and Chris were the perfect and most amazing hosts. From great communication before our visit to greeting us at 1:30am when our flight was delayed to being top hosts throughout our stay. The accommodation was spectacular and felt like home away from home.

Quelle belle découverte ! Nous avons été enchantés par notre séjour à la Ferme du Moulin de Paillères, située sur un domaine magnifique. Myriam, notre très sympathique hôtesse, nous a accueillis très chaleureusement et nous avons été ravis de pouvoir discuter avec elle tout au long de notre séjour. Merci encore pour les petites attentions de bienvenue. Le gîte est superbe, spacieux, très bien agencé et équipé ainsi que décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Nous avons pu profiter de la magnifique terrasse ombragée pour y déjeuner et dîner. Et que dire de la vue ? Exceptionnelle ! L’endroit est fabuleux et offre un dépaysement total. Amoureux de la nature et du calme, nous avons été comblés. La grande et belle piscine située à quelques mètres du gîte, avec également une très belle vue, nous a également procuré de bons moments de détente. C’est assurément une de nos meilleures locations AirBnB. Toute la famille a été conquise. Nous la recommandons chaleureusement.

We are so glad we chose to stay at David's place! The location in the village of Albas is beautiful & everything was clean and very comfortable. We also appreciated being able to sit in the garden. It was hot while we were there (34 degrees) but we were very comfortable because it is well-insulated and has shutters and aircon. Highly recommended!

Petite maison restaurée , avec petit séjour, et trois belles chambres, dans un joli environnement avec une piscine bien agréable durant les fortes chaleurs. Accueil très amical de Rebecca, propriétaires pro actif et très discrets.

Accueil très chaleureux de la maman de Claire avec une petite attention gourmande. Presque l'impression de faire partie de la famille, une personne très bienveillante. Magnifique gîte avec tout le confort possible. Très paisible et vraiment un très bel environnement fleuri, très jolie, très bien entretenu. J’ai passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement ! Tout était parfaitement conforme à l’annonce, propre, calme et très agréable. La piscine est un vrai plus, idéale pour se détendre après une journée ou simplement profiter du soleil en toute tranquillité. L’endroit est parfait pour se reposer, à l’écart de l’agitation de la ville. Merci encore pour l’accueil et la qualité du lieu, je recommande à 100 % !

Patrice nous a réservé un superbe accueil, échange très intéressant et chaleureux. La maison est magnifique et aménagée avec beaucoup de gout et de finesse. Les équipements sont de qualité et adaptés, tout a été pensé pour ne manquer de rien. Un coup de coeur pour la vue depuis le salon.... Si l'occasion se présente nous ne manquerons pas de revenir ! Als je voor rust en natuur op vakantie gaat dan is deze locatie "the place to be". Het is er zo stil en geen openbare straatverlichting maakt dat de nacht een beleving is om naar de sterrenhemel te kijken. De gastheer& gastvrouw zijn lieve vriendelijke gastvrije mensen die niets teveel is. Heel fijn, we voelden ons direct thuis. Ook is het erg fijn om in de Engelse taal te kunnen communiceren. Dat is in Frankrijk helemaal niet zo vanzelfsprekend. We hebben genoten.

What can I say other than SUPERBE !!!! Falker and Lazhar were the most wonderful hosts. We felt so welcome from the second we arrived and so did our little dog Rubie who quickly made friends with August and Luise. The surrounds were so tranquil and well kept and the pool was amazing during the warm afternoons. Amazing views of Villeneuve Sur Lot from the garden. We were sorry to leave as Falke waved us off and I’m sure we will return when we drive to the U.K. in the future. Thank you Falke and Lazhar with love from Marie and Ian - A bientot xxxx

Firstly the hosts were responsive from the moment we booked to right through to check out. It helps they live on-site so when we had questions/issued Tas was with us instantly. The house has an incredible wow factor, and the heated pool and outside setting was to die for. Perfect for a general pool party / bbq party. What we especially liked as 3 couples with babies and toddlers, Tas has a “just like home approach” meaning we were not at all worried about the kids. The house is well equipped and had 3 high chairs and cots (with matresses). The bedrooms are wonderful and beds very comfortable, for an old house even the shower pressure was good. This region is rural so with water nearby do expect the usual flies/bugs/mozzie. That said, I was not biten all week and there were ample citronella aids (raid) left in kitchen for us along with a welcome hamper. Hosts are English and cater for a UK audience very well. Noise was never a problem and we felt at ease al week.

Une excellente expérience dans ce logement encore bien plus joliment décoré que sur les photos. Tout était parfait : les équipements sont bien au dessus de ce que proposent la majorité des Airbnb, notamment au niveau de la cuisine. Les hôtes sont extrêmement sympathiques et feront tout pour que votre séjour soit inoubliable. N’hésitez pas un instant si vous tombez sur cette annonce : vous ne pourrez pas être déçus !
