The place looked exactly like the ones shown in the photos. It has a great view of Taal Lake and the listing had everything you need even a washing machine. The best part is it's pet friendly.

Our family had an enjoyable stay at A.J's place Darlaston House. It was very chill and relaxing as if we're at home. The place is near and just walking distance from Serin ayala mall. They provide filtered water so no need to bring water container, they also have towels. I love their big TV with youtube and netflix, you can binge watch. Our dogs also enjoyed they stay as the place is spacious and they can run around. Ate Merle, the caretaker was so accommodating and explains everything when we arrive. Ms. Nellie the cohost also reach out and made sure we're good. This place is very recommended, we will surely come back and probably book 2 night next time.

Our stay here is absolutely amazing. The kids and the adults enjoyed their pool so much. The location is peaceful and quiet. Beds are comfortable. Sir Bernard is responsive to our needs. The place was clean; the kitchen was super. Everything we need, this place can provide.

We had a great stay! The place was quaint with a beautiful garden/backyard that we really enjoyed. It was fully stocked with all the essentials you could think of — from towels to kitchenware and more. There were TVs in both the bedrooms and the living room. I also appreciated how pet-friendly the place was — even pet bowls were provided! Just a heads-up for pet owners, especially those with small dogs: the lower part of the gate has openings that small pets might be able to squeeze through, and there are quite a few neighborhood dogs around, so do keep an eye on them. It was a bit hard for us to locate the bnb with the provided instructions but was able to confirm with the host with a little Google Maps street view. Nevertheless, the location was easily reachable by Grab and Foodpanda, so we were able to order all our meals in. Overall, a lovely stay and would definitely recommend!

Thea is geniunely the best Host we had so far on AirBnb and that is after 20 bookings. we had a particular situation and her proactiveness and help was simply wayyyyy above and beyond our expectations. No matter what we say, it wont be emough to reward her kindness. God Bless you Thea and we recommend this place to everyone

Host is responsive and nice as well as Kuya Kirk. The location is peaceful, accessible and spacious - good for family staycations. plus points for parking, no need to worry for those with car. definitely SULIT.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at this Airbnb! The place was incredibly peaceful—just what we all needed to recharge. The host and caretakers were amazing, super friendly, responsive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The amenities were great, everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully prepared. Our family and friends had such a great time—everyone felt so at ease and truly enjoyed every moment. It was such a chill experience, we’ll definitely be back again. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway!

We had a great time overall — the house is spacious and perfect for big groups. It has plenty of rooms, beds, and CRs, and the amenities are mostly complete. However, a few things could have been communicated better. The pool heater and gas grill were not working during our stay, which made swimming in the cold quite uncomfortable. We also came unprepared for charcoal since we expected a functioning gas grill, though the caretaker was helpful and bought some for us. The pool area can get very slippery when wet, and there were no mats or mops readily available, which made it a bit unsafe. Also, note that there is no air conditioning in the living room and the room with the small billiards table. With a few improvements, this place could be even better. Still, we appreciated the space and had a good time overall.

The place is super accessible, we did not have any issues finding its location at all. What you see is what you get. Photos in the listing were pretty accurate and also with the amenities provided. We booked the place because it’s pet friendly and from our experience its really pet friendly. Pet’s are allowed in all of the areas, but please do your due diligence as responsible pet owners and pickup after your pet’s mess. 🙂 We were not able to use the bonfire and the outdoor projector because of the rain and unfortunately, their internet provider was down during our stay (no worries though, as mobile data signal was strong) and we even had an incident were the water stopped working the next day but I’m glad to report that Jean and the care takers were super helpful and responsive in both of those incidents and they are prepared with their backup plans incase their utility service is down. Overall we had a great time at Jean’s listing, it was a short and sweet escape. We’ll be back. ☺️

Great place to stay lalo na ngayong taglamig if you want a peaceful place to stay. Napaka relaxing ng vibesand also napaka pet friendly. We had a great stay! The place was exactly as advertised—clean, cozy, and just the right size for our group of 9 on a quick weekend getaway. The space was well-equipped and comfortable overall. One thing to note is the steep slope going down to the property—it can be a bit tricky to drive, especially if you're not confident behind the wheel. During our stay (rainy season), some appliances got wet due to minor gaps in the cover, so a few small fixes there would help. Also, expect some bugs at night and in the morning, so bring insect repellent if you're sensitive. Lastly, the kitchen is in the basement, and taller guests might need to watch their heads—it’s a bit low. Overall, a great experience and would still recommend for a chill escape with friends or family.

Love the peace and quiet Alex's place offer. My family and I had an awesome time; we slept really well - the fam loved how clean and fragrant the bed sheets and pillow cases were 🥰 we were also able to cook - love how the kitchen is stocked with all that we need to prepare our meal. the place is private and allowed us some serene quality time. Host is also very accommodating and friendly!

The place was big and comfy. Easy to locate and accessible. The amenities are complete and okay. Swimming pool was great we all enjoyed the place not to mention the game room and gym was a plus! Overall we loved the place and our family had a wonderful time together! Will again rent the place for future occassions.

The place was great. It was a small slice of paradise. The place was serene, peaceful and very relaxing. It is also super near Mahogany Market and other Tagaytay famous spots. You can find almost if not everything you need with just a few minutes walk from the resort. The host was very accommodating. We were provided all the basic things that we needed. Just a small thing about the pool, the water was just deep enough for kids, it could be filled more so the adult guests can enjoy it more.

We enjoyed our stay - definitely enjoyed the heated private pool and jacuzzi at night. Loved that it's pet-friendly as we were able to bring our dog. Quality in everything at home - interior, furniture, lighting. Wish there are home slippers :)

Thank you Mars. Had an amazing stay at your place with just a short walk to Robinsons Plaza. Kitchen was well stocked with coffee, etc. including items needed for cooking such as oil, sauces and spices. The gazebo was great for our guests to celebrate my mother-in-laws 92nd birthday. The views overlooking Taal lake and volcano were beautiful. Thanks also to Maimai who was very helpful. If I ever come back to Tagaytay I will be booking your place. Thanks again Mars and Maimai.

We really enjoyed our stay, we truly appreciate how transparent/straightforward the host was whenever we would talk to each other, the place truly made our "mental health reset" trip memorable and worth it. Barako house was a great property to stay in. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, and the kitchen is well-equipped with amenities to cook in and dine with loved ones. The pool was lovely and it allowed us to destress. Would recommend to friends!

Place was exactly as described. Host was very proactive in communicating and in helping us with our concern/s - e.g. had a problem with wifi connection the whole day (internet provider issue) and host was kind enough to refund us an x amount due to minor inconvenience (since even mobile hotspot was really hard due to poor signal). They also had a rug wherein my dog loved to lay on (can't attach pic though :() Only problem is you really need a car if you need to buy something since the place is a bit far from shops. you can try to walk but its uphill. Other than that, highly recommend this place!

booked this place as a gift for my parents’ anniversary, hoping to find a peaceful and quiet retreat—and it truly exceeded all expectations. Special thanks to Kuya Alfie, the private chef, whose cooking is absolutely superb—honestly better than most restaurants in Tagaytay! He was also incredibly accommodating throughout our stay. Ate Tere, the masseuse and housekeeper, was equally warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We also loved the simple farm life—the fresh fruits and vegetables, the goats, cows, and chickens around the property added so much charm and tranquility to the experience. If you’re looking for a quiet escape with your family, this place is a must-try. We genuinely enjoyed our time here and, in my opinion, this is the best place to rest and recharge in Cavite—including Tagaytay itself.

Incredible location!! I love the fact that there are multiple rooms with bathrooms that can accommodate a large group. Fully stocked kitchen! You just need to bring your own coffee, sugar and creamer but its awesome! There is a game room on the 2nd floor perfect for entertaining! The rooms have great views of the lake (bummer the construction blocked some of the view but it is still nice overall). The property is HUGE and private. You will enjoy it! Christy - the caretaker was super helpful, polite, respectful and always available if we have questions! One unforgettable instance is when we forgot to get sugar at the store and she handed her own personal new bag of sugar to us! She did not have to do that! Benedict- the owner was super responsive and always available! We had to change our people size last minute and he was very accommodating to revise arrangements. He also gave us helpful directions to find the property on the map. We enjoyed our stay.
