Farmstay holiday rentals in Latvia

Excellent place for vacation, very remote and quiet, 3 minute walk to sea. Had no issues during my stay, host was very polite and welcoming, explained and showed everything there was to know. Would recommend this place to everyone, especialy to families with kids as the site has a nice playground for kids including an abundance of toys.

Super cute spot on the river, nice dogs, homemade mead, fabulous sauna, cool paths and hangout spots in the woods- what's not to like? This is a great place to get away, I'm sure when it is warmer it will be great to swim in the pond or river and go kayaking or SUP boarding

It is really an amazing place in Latgale, a hidden gem. Calm and inspirational. Owners invested 20 years of their life to save and improve this architectual wonder. Sustainable lifestile, all items are either restored or re-used, representing different times in the past. Sleeping in the room with so high ceiling was an experience on its own. Home made breakfest, stories and discussions with owners - we felt like a family. Traditional black sauna and cooling down by swimming in Dubna river was a nice touch, as from my childhood memories. I will come back again. Thanks!

The place is great, near the river, very quiet and full of nature! Really nice place to spend a weekend or even a week in the nature. Chilling area, barbecue place, massage, everething is prepared for your relax! The town Kraslava is olny 6 km from place, so you can buy food there and visit small nice park near palace. 100 points from us!

The place was as described. I had the little wooden hut overlooking the Daugava. Kitchen utensils, kettle, large sauna in the house. Toilets/shower were clean and easily accessible. Fresh bread rolls, cheese preparations, milk, eggs, desserts of all kinds were on site due to the keeping of goats and chickens. With several people or family, arriving by car is worthwhile, if you only want to stay in the yard or are good on foot, it is also possible to arrive by bus. The place was like the given description. The cabin with view to the river Daugava included kitchen utensils, water boiler, a big sauna and toilets/ shower were clean and close to the cabin. They offered fresh bread, cheese and milk products from the goats and eggs, candies and ice cream. I would recommend to come by car if you're a bigger group of people or with family. But it's also possible to take the bus and approach by foot.

Great cabin in the countryside to accommodate a large group. There were 4 different bathrooms, which was great. The host lives on site and was there to help with any questions and was very friendly showing us around. We also were able to use the wood burning sauna for an additional fee, which was well worth it. This place is heated by wood stoves and has a rustic feel but was very cozy. Also bonus you get to look out to a field of cows in the morning!

The villa is in a quiet place, great for folks who want to get away from all the noise and the crowds. The place was clean, the beds were super comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and the host was super responsive! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt super relaxed, especially after enjoying the sauna and a dip in the cold pond nearby. Would visit again in the summertime

The house was perfect. Lovely house and gardens, easy to get into Riga (20-30 min on bus) or Bolt taxi was 11.50 Euro but had the advantage of tranquility of feeling in the countryside. Finally Diana was the most wonderful host. She could not of done any more to make us feel welcome. Thank you. I would recommend the house highly.

Very modern, peaceful and lovely place to spend time away from city’s. The house was really beautiful and moderately renovated. It felt like home and the host was really responsive and fast. She greeted us at the front door, showed everything and was reachable at any time. Recommend this place.

Oleri Manor is a beautiful place with talented and passionate owners Leva, Kārlis and their family. It says on the top of their website “Where nature, culture and craft skills meet”. This is very true. The story of the manor is fascinating. There had been a devastating fire in 2000 and the restoration work was carried on by the owners themselves, so masterfully performed!!! It was difficult to believe what we were looking at. The details and artistic craftsmanship that has been poured into this building is nothing but impressive. The room is large with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The area around the manor is heavenly. There are lots of forest paths that lead you into bog-land. It’s advised to bring waterproof shoes for longer walks. We decided to go back in the summertime when Leva’s magical gardens are in full bloom. We fell in love with this place and the beautiful people that care for it with an enormous amount of talent & love! Amazing experience, thank you!

I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our hosts for their understanding and hospitality. The accommodation was in a beautiful, quiet area surrounded by nature and was fully equipped for everything we needed. I especially appreciated the responsiveness and kindness of the hosts. The place was super tidy, tidy and cosy – a really pleasant and peaceful environment. I am very happy that I chose this place and I definitely recommend it to others.

Great stay, fantastic place to stay. we were 4 families with young children and everything was there for comfortable stay. Definitely staying again. Only thing - no shampoo in bathrooms and coffee and tea would be nice. Otherwise great stay, a lot of positive emotions. House clean and beds comfortable.

We had a lovely time with a family of 5 in Rihards farmhouse that has been beautifully renovated with lots of personal touches. We enjoyed the hottub and the private - but cold!- little lake in the backyard. It's the perfect spot in the middle of Latvia's beautiful nature for people who want some time away from the city. At the same time Cesis, with its shops and restaurants, is closeby.

I loved the cottage right on the river! It was very quiet, only the croaking of the frogs could be heard, and from a distance the sound of the Baltic Sea. The house was very stylishly furnished with everything you need. It was a shame that I only stayed one night. I highly recommend it!

Definitely would suggest

Me and my children enjoyed the stay a lot! The sea, beaches sometimes without any people, great paths in the forest full of blueberries and friendly animals! The village also has two cafes, one is open all week and both have something for children. Best recomendations!

A spacious and stylish house only a short drive from Valmiera. Our stay was very comfortable and we enjoyed it a lot. All communications and directions were clear and to the point, superb experience. Also, loved the easy access to the Gauja River - excellent for a quick refreshing swim.

Great and beautiful house for our big group. Everything was clean and prepared for our arrival. It was easy to communicate with the host. Really great location for us. I can not find anything negative. Recommended!
