Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Lapmežciems Parish

I spent nearly a month at Andra's house near Riga, and it was the most incredible place. It was very well-equipped with everything I needed for cooking, plenty of space and seating, a very comfortable bed and pillows, a beautiful view out the back window towards the forest, and a very wonderful, tuned piano, which was my primary reason for staying there. I also loved being able to walk to the beach nearly every day, which was only 15-20 minutes (depending on how fast you walk), past a great little cafe and the train station. It was also super convenient taking the train into Riga or to the main town of Jurmala, which were both well worth doing. It was nice having a car as well, so I could explore the nearby national park and beaches. I would definitely stay again and would highly recommend staying at Andra's house for a very authentic, relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

Ein wunderschönes, großes, gemütliches Haus in der ruhigen Gegend. Alles ist super sauber und gut eingerichtet. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Hausbesitzer, die in der nähe wohnen. Alle Fragen konnten sehr schnell geklärt werden. Eine klare Weiterempfehlung.

Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgerichtet (tolle Aussicht) und eingerichtet (vor allem die Möbel - klasse). Unsere Teenager waren begeistert von Novus (Spiel) - es waren ein paar tolle Familienabende. Toll war, dass es an allen Fenstern (auch an der Terrassentür) Mückennetze gab, keine Mücken im Haus !!!! Toll ... es fehlte nichts. Alles, was wir brauchten, war da, und man konnte wirklich spüren, dass liebevoll an die Gäste gedacht wird - Vendenes Wasser zum Trinken, sehr gute Kosmetikartikel uzw. Und das alles an einer tollen Ostseeküste. Wir würden gerne wieder kommen.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was spacious and we especially enjoyed being outside in the garden and going to beach. The train station nearby is very handy for trips to Riga.

We stayed at Galina’s cozy little house and had a nice time. The house has a charming, slightly vintage feel – it’s a bit older and could use a bit more cleaning, but it was still comfortable and had everything we needed for a short stay. The garden area adds a nice touch, especially for relaxing in the evening. It’s located in a quiet area of Jūrmala, just a short drive or bike ride to the beach and town center. Galina was friendly and helpful, communication was smooth throughout. If you’re looking for a simple, homey place with character, this is a good option.

Очень уютный и хорошо продуманный домик. Есть всё необходимое, кровать удобная, всё чисто. Особенно понравилось, что есть камин и веранда.  Территория большая и вся находиться в распоряжении гостя, никто не беспокоит. Очень хорошее место, чтобы уединиться и отдохнуть на природе, рекомендую.  

House was perfect for us. Fence around The yard was great for a dog. Shared yard wasnt problem, yard is big and very beautiful. We used grill outside and had some cucumber from garden. Beach is near and extremly beautiful. Houst was really friendly and house as descripted. Love to come again.

Mums ļoti patika mūsu mini atvaļinājums – apartamenti atrodas skaistā vietā pie jūras. Ļoti kompakti, tīri, gaiši, ir viss nepieciešamais dzīvošanai. Jūra tikai 5 minūšu attālumā. Teritorija ir plaša, ir restorāns, SPA, bērnu laukumi. Saimnieks vienmēr bija sazvanāms, ļoti atsaucīgs. Noteikti atgriezīsimies vēlreiz. Ļoti labi, ka var uzturēties ar mājdzīvnieku – mums ir mazs sunītis.

Loved my stay here — the place is small but super bright and cozy, perfect for a quiet break. Just a 5-min walk to the sea, which is a huge bonus. Super peaceful area. Also, the host was great — communication was quick and easy the whole time. Would definitely come back!

Мы отдыхали в этом доме три дня с компанией друзей и остались в полном восторге! Дом светлый, чистый, очень уютный и со вкусом обустроенный. Расположение — отличное: рядом аэропорт и центр Юрмалы, при этом тихо и спокойно. Территория ухоженная, с красивым садом, мангалом и летней кухней — идеальное место для отдыха на свежем воздухе. Внутри есть всё необходимое: посуда, полотенца, туалетные и кухонные принадлежности, даже мелочи вроде ватных дисков и таблеток для посудомоечной машины — всё предусмотрено до мелочей. Бассейн теплый (24–25 градусов), сауна большая, ухоженная. Мы пользовались ей по два раза в день, а счет за воду и электричество приятно удивил — он оказался совсем небольшим. В доме прекрасная шумоизоляция — даже громкая музыка не мешает тем, кто отдыхает в другой комнате. Планировка очень удобная, никто никому не мешал, даже когда оставались гости. Баня, бассейн, отличная территория, дружественные собаки , подружились с нашим псом. Близко море.

Whether you planning a getaway with your hubby, vacation with kids, short workation or gathering of best friends - this is the best place. Private, quiet, well equipped. Whirlpool and a small pool outside definitely is a big plus. Colorful rugs all over the house add playfulness. It’s well located - away from the busiest street of Engure village, but everything is reachable within few minutes (beach, very popular bakery, grocery store or cafeteria/restaurant). Lots of things to see around - Engure lake nature park, Cinevilla studio. Host is very responsive, communication was smooth. We truly enjoyed our stay and got back well rested - thank you!

A great place to celebrate a birthday with friends, there are many entertainments for both children and adults on the territory. We will definitely keep in mind that not far from Riga there is such a cool location at a great price.

Wir waren da mit drei Kindern und Hund, vor allem hat uns die Lage gefallen, nur paar Gehminuten vom Meer durch einen Pinienwald entfernt. Trotz der häufigen Regenfälle hatten wir eine sehr schöne Zeit in diesem Haus verbracht.

Brīnišķīgs namiņš dažu soļu attālumā no pludmales. Ļoti izbaudījām! Liels paldies!

We stayed as a family of five for six nights, and it was truly a special experience. The location is absolutely stunning — peaceful, beautiful, and full of charm. Although the weather wasn’t always kind, the warmth of the fireplace, the comfort of the sauna, and evenings spent around the barbecue brought so much joy and togetherness to our stay. What truly made it unforgettable were the hosts — kind, generous, and so welcoming. They made us feel at home from the very first moment. A heartfelt thank you also goes to their lovely, tail-wagging companion, who greeted us every day with pure joy and made us smile endlessly. We created wonderful memories here — laughter, late-night chats, and simple moments that we’ll treasure for a long time. Thank you for everything. We loved it and will absolutely be back.

C’est une petite maison typique de Lituanie, très joliment décorée sur le thème de la mer et des bateaux, à proximité de la mer et d’un grand lac, idéal pour faire des promenades, avec assez peu de touristes.

Ļoti mājīga un skaista mājiņa – viss bija tīrs un kārtībā. Sava bija ļoti atsaucīgs un pretimnākošs. Pirts un karstā baļļa tika sagatavotas uz norunāto laiku, kas padarīja mūsu atpūtu vēl patīkamāku. Ļoti ērta atrašanās vieta – veikals ir tepat blakus, un līdz jūrai tikai 5 minūšu pastaiga. Mājiņā bija viss nepieciešamais komfortablai dzīvošanai. Noteikti iesakām un labprāt atgrieztos vēlreiz!

This was an unforgettable experience we had at Egon's place. The house was small, but at the same time very cozy. The BBQ grill availability and outdoor seating areas were very lovely. If you are looking for a great out of town holiday, this is the place to go. The sea is literally 30 seconds away, and you can hear the waves from the bedroom. Egons was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommended holiday location!
