Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lapeer County

Wonderful accommodations. Steve and Whitney both made sure to communicate with us from booking all the way through checkout. We arrived to a goody basket full of treats, drinks, and a welcome note. The kitchen was stocked with more than enough essentials like pots and pans, seasonings, and even oven mitts. The neighborhood is quiet, although the train does come by fairly regularly. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and looking forward to possibly renting again next year.

This was our third stay at Kristine's place and will very likely not be our last. Kristine's place provides a relaxing getaway with unique charm and we enjoy every stay. Kristine provides all the amenities to make you feel right at home making this the perfect place for a low-key stay-cation in the winter. By far one of our favorite places to stay. Thank you again for opening your place for us to enjoy! 12/10 recommend!

We chose this place because it was a short distance from where we celebrated our daughters wedding. It was fun for our granddaughters to check out the animals. They really loved the sheep and friendly cat. Thank you, Kristi

Kristina went above and beyond in every way. She reached out before our stay to get to know us & had everything so thoughtfully prepared. We arrived late at night and hadn’t made it to the store, but she had fresh eggs from her chickens in the fridge for us. Our two 9-year-old boys loved the cozy loft, and the welcome tray filled with s’mores goodies, a handwritten note, and wipes for the bonfire totally made their night. The home was spotless, adorable, and full of charm. She even picked out games for us to play as a family and checked in during our stay to make sure everything was perfect. We accidentally left a prescription and a pair of shoes behind, and she kindly offered to meet my mother-in-law nearby so we could get them back. Her kindness and attention to detail made this one of our absolute favorite Airbnb stays, we highly recommend!

Booked this place with a bunch of friends getting together for a wedding! We had an absolutely wonderful time. The house was beautiful, clean, and Debbie is a responsive and kind hostess. We would definitely come back!!

If you want a home away from home then this is it! From the front porch to the backyard is the best! I love sitting on a porch watching cars go by! The fire pit outback is cozy and you can see the lake from there. I love this place! Tiffany responds in a timely manner all the time as well! Great place!

Wonderful place to stay. My whole family loved it we can’t wait to go back. And all the beds are amazing. Location was great close enough to town for food delivery. But far enough away for a peaceful stay. Beautiful lakefront home gorgeous views. This place has everything you need or want to have a great stay. I highly recommend. And the host are so friendly down to earth kind of people. We look forward to staying in there home again.

We had a great stay. The charming home is ideally situated extremely close to all the shops and restaurants downtown. We were able to walk to just about everywhere we wanted to go within 5-10 minutes. The beds were very comfy and the bathroom is massive. Chris even added a nice welcome gift which was a lovely surprise. I highly recommend this place if you are visiting Frankenmuth.

Huge fan of this location! Great Airbnb right in the center of town. Great outdoor space to people watch. Cozy rooms and really nice kitchen and living space. We loved our stay so much!!

Laura was an amazing host! We felt right at home, and the place was spotless. She answered our messages and assisted us with the bonfire. My daughters had an amazing time, we were sad that due to our limited time we couldn’t do the rope course at her property. If we visit Michigan again, we’d definitely stay here!

We had a pleasant stay, just a couple small quirks to the place we didn't anticipate, maybe I didn't read the listing close enough, but host was responsive and friendly. Perks were it's a spacious stay and has a comfortable bed. TV and fireplace are nice. Quirks are is a first floor apartment complex with a tenant above and there were banging noises above that kept waking us up. Host responded they'd ask the neighbor to keep down the noise, a great option, however the noise kept happening seemingly every time we tried to sleep. Bath towels are located under the bed in a plastic drawer, which isn't correct from the description given "in dresser" and there were no towels in the bathroom initially, which really confused us. The shower is well water based and has a horrible odor, not much the host can do about this but it made showering quite uncomfortable. I still rated 5 stars due to these being minor quirks, overall the stay was peaceful.

Fantastic location—just a short walk to downtown, which made exploring the area super easy and enjoyable. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for our stay. Would definitely recommend!

My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay at Andrea's place!! It was absolutely spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we could possibly need. 5 minutes or less from the mall and top golf!! It was 30 minutes to ford field for a concert. Great place to stay to experience the city in peace and relaxation. Wish we could have stayed longer!! Even though it's in a basement it was so private and we felt so safe. 10/10 recommend

Michael’s place is such a hidden gem! Everything matched the descriptions and photos, the lake view was beautiful, the area was quiet and peaceful. I could truly go on and on about how nice our weekend here was. We definitely plan on coming back!

Great place to stay, safe and peaceful Nice kitchen. Air conditioning and heat and simple front door locking system. Suggest addressing the low pressure water system in the bathrooms.

This was a great place to stay. Zoey's place had everything we needed and it was nice and tidy. I didn't really communicate much with Zoey as I used to live in the area so I knew where everything was. Would definitely stay again in the future.

A great location so close to Downtown Milford. The 2 bedroom condo was very nice and had a nice remodeled kitchen with new hard woods throughout the house. There was plenty of parking with nice restaurant's easily in walking distance. Would totally stay here again when traveling to Milford.

I will definitely be booking again. The unit was so beautifully decorated and clean. So many different places to go in the immediate area. Taz was very responsive with any questions I had. Everything I needed was already there. It was a very peaceful and pleasant stay.!

Really enjoyed our stay! This was the perfect set up for my family (2 adults, toddler, infant) to have as a home base for a couple of days while in town to visit family. Having a pack 'n play for our infant was a huge plus, as it was one less thing for us to haul around. Just the right amount of space - and not a lot of clutter or breakable decorations to worry about (toddler parents understand...). And super convenient to get around Macomb county. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. Would stay again!

Mikes place was more spacious and undersold through the ad in my opinion. It was a really nice place to stay and the community it is in is very friendly and comfortable. Definitely booking in the future when I’m back in Michigan
