Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Laois

An excellent house for a group gathering - spacious with ideal amenities, great bedrooms, and centrally located for easy access to shops and pubs! Absolutely idea for our New Years getaway as a group of 14.

We had a fantastic experience staying at Danny’s Airbnb in Laois. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and exactly as described — even better in person! Danny was a thoughtful and responsive host, making sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was peaceful and perfect for exploring the beautiful Laois countryside and we really appreciated the small touches that made it feel like a home away from home. We had an amazing stay at Ethel’s home. Peaceful location but only a short drive from many amenities. The house was pristine, spacious and has everything you would need. Ethel was a great host and regularly checked to see if we needed anything. The personal touches were much appreciated also. Would recommend staying here if you want to feel right at home from the minute you enter.

We would definitely recommend Babe's Cottage. Traditional cottage decorated with great taste in a very private and peaceful location. Marguerite was a great host and gave us lots of helpful advice. The cottage was extremely comfortable and well equipped. Great walking trails and beautiful scenery. Lovely pub in village and also a great playground for children. We look forward to our return.

An absolute gem of a location. Loads of room,incredibly comfortable and all the amenities that you could want. It's also just a short 5 minute drive to Portarlington, but we decided there was little need to leave the house, as it was so relaxing. Margaret is a wonderful host and really made sure that we all felt at home, and we loved our (far too short!) stay. You simply can't go wrong with this place!

Jackie’s house is stunning It is also credibly well equipped, really spacious and surrounded by beautiful gardens. The view is stunning. Jackie herself is incredibly helpful, calm and relaxed as a host. Overall, I couldn’t recommend the entire experience highly enough.

If you have a chance to stay with Frances you are so lucky. One of the nicest hosts I’ve met through AirBnB. The house was perfect and spotless. Homemade baked goodies were to die for on arrival. The fire was lighting, the heat was on and the house was so cosy and warm. Beautiful and quiet location in the countryside. We booked Prosecco Painting and it did not disappoint. The snacks and Prosecco was flowing and the 4 of us now see ourselves as budding artists. The hot tub in the evening to relax topped it all off. All the locals we met on a walk were so friendly and helpful. The beds were so comfy. A home away from home. We will definitely cross paths with Frances again. She is just amazing!!!!

The Alpaca farm is a magical place. The Jack Wrights cottage is a lovely accommodation, it has an independent entrance and all the services you need, great views of the mountains and friendly Alpacas and Sheep grazing right across from the house. There's a table outside which is an amazing place to have some drinks and dinner overlooking the fields. This was our second visit and we'll be back, Paul and family are so welcoming, you feel at home. You get to roam around the farm and engage with the animals. We were lucky to arrive 5 days after the birth of a little lamb which we got to bottle feed. An unforgettable experience for the kids!

The cottage is an amazing getaway, a good digital detox in lovely surroundings with Alpacas for company. Paul was the perfect host throughout. We travelled with our pet dog too. The cottage is very well finished with all conveniences. The nearest supermarket is 10mins drive and we cooked in the cottage both nights. We wanted the two nights as a nice relaxing break. We did some hillwalking in the Slieve Bloom Mountains nearby. Highly recommend for a relaxing break away

Fantastic Accomodation,, a perfect example of how to utilise space. Lovely touches on arrival like tea/coffee/milk/orange juice/ bread/cereals and more. Beautifully crafted interior is a delight for anyone who likes restored cottages and in a wonderful area. Very responsive hosts. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
