Private animal-free apartment above our attached two-car garage. Share our 3-acre lake, kayak, SUP, rowboat and swim mat, yard, porch, picnic table and grill. Borrow our canoes to use on Rose Lake (100 acre-lake). Plenty of parking for trucks, trailers, ATV/UTVs, and snowmobiles. Access trails/routes from our place. Numerous lakes, streams, and the Wolf River near by! Seventeen miles to IAT Kettlebowl segment. Shuttling possible. We are quiet, family-friendly, God-loving, nature-respecting.

This unique place has a style of its own. It’s newly renovated and has lots of charm, yet fully functional for both short and extended stays. It has a full, eat-in “kitchenette” including a dishwasher, a clothes washer/dryer in the unit, good size bathroom and private bedroom w/ a FULL size bed. This apartment is located in a historic building near downtown area and it has a private entrance with its own patio. It has a huge front yard with fire pit, a picnic table and free parking areas.

Not a good swimming lake but other lakes for swimming and boating within 5-10 minutes away.

Wendy was a great host. The house was VERY clean and really well appointed. Lots of kitchen supplies as well as nicely stocked with some staples. She had a nice assortment of pots, pans, bowls, even storage containers for while we were there. It was great for us as we mostly ate in. Wendy had left us a note at check in and supplied contact information in multiple places (even though we didn’t need to contact her, because the stay went perfectly!) The rooms were comfortable. And we loved some of the “antique feel” pieces throughout the home. Some pieces felt like they were right out of my grandfather’s cabin from when I was young! The keyless entry was super easy, and I appreciated the reliable WiFi we had while there. Was so pleased with our stay! I am excited to bring my family back here to visit! Will definitely plan a longer stay next time!
