The check in was seamless, the place is exactly like in pictures. Location is walking distance to Pantai Chenang. Cute cafe Kelly’s Cafe just next door, everything was good.

Wild pasir panjang is a small, beautiful out of the way bay with no road access to it. Our cottage was very simple so don't expect 'tasteful ' or 'luxury. It's the position that makes this place. 6 cottages to rent and a couple of others, and a simple restaurant with a limited menu (mainly good Thai), but I don't know if this ever changes. All quite basic and relaxed which is just what we like, and Gahsri has many returning guests. We enjoyed chatting to Gahsri who has lived there for over 40years. We would recommend you paying for your own boat to get you there as we didn't and then couldn't get the boatman to take us there. We ended up getting off at another part of the island, struggling to find a mini bus to take us and eventually arrived (via a local wedding) at another bay. The driver who spoke no English then pointed to a path and indicated that we needed to walk over the hill. Someone who spoke English then confirmed it so off we went and walked through the forest for 10 minutes until we arrived at the remote beautiful beach. This was an adventure for us but may be a worry to others. It all looks so peaceful but there are quite a lot of distant passing boats and the engine noise carries. Despite this we loved our stay and would love to go back.

What can I say? Beautiful private beach with only a few other guests there. Ideal place to kick back and relax. Limited menu but everything prepared by Koi was delicious. Gahsri was a wonderful host, friendly and generous. We could not wished for a better stay.

First house shown was really dirty. Then zervin helped us with another house which was spotlessly clean .But it was little pricey, but we had no other options. so please check properly and book . Don't trust the photos.Hats off to zervin , he really came to the spot to help us in few minutes.

The property has great facilities and was exceptionally well kept. all the staff were very friendly and helpful and were always on hand if we had any questions. Anis clearly wrote in her description how remote the property is but it was a little more remote than I had realised. The local supermarket was as an 8 min drive and we found it impossible to find fresh meat ( apart from chicken) and fish anywhere. maybe if we had driven further we could have found something fresh to cook but this was disappointing. Rains lodge is such a fabulous place a complete 1 off that I would definitely recommend. My only hesitation would be the close proximity of fresh food and therefore the addition of breakfast or even better other meals in the package would be warmly welcomed. The property is a real gem

A truly fantastic accommodation that we can absolutely recommend. The view from the balcony and pool is great, the whole complex is well maintained and very lovingly designed. We had a fantastic stay. In this place, you can fully enjoy the peace and quiet and relax. With a car/dig or scooter you can reach everything quickly on the island. Everyone is super nice and helpful. We would come back anytime!

We were greeted by the owner when coming in and got a tour of everything around. Felt very welcoming. Everything was as promised and the staff went above and beyond to make sure that we always had what we needed. Our villa and the whole place was well equipped. We enjoyed the free drinking water and a little "sodakiosk" they got. We got two scooters arranged by the host. It was so simple and we got to go exploring immediately. You really need the scooter though since it's uphill and not that close to sights. On the other hand that is the reason it felt so safe and private + had amazing views. 10/10, would stay again :)

It was a good stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. It's a serene place with well-maintained garden, and I had the opportunity to enjoy their gym facilities. Would recommend to rent a vehicle as the place is slightly further away from town and beaches.
