Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lamai

If you are looking for luxury on the beach front then this is the place for you. The views from the living area and master bedroom are to die for and the location is very peaceful and private. Chris (the host) was incredibly helpful before we arrived and throughout our stay and we really appreciated his recommendations. The villa itself has very serene and tasteful decor and the beds were very comfortable. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

We’ve just returned from 9 unforgettable nights at The Naked Villa – a magical experience we’ll never forget. Our group of five (two couples and a teen) loved every moment. The villa is beautiful, with stunning views, private spaces, and a perfect saltwater pool. Indoor-outdoor living made us feel truly connected to nature. Jook helped with boat trips and car hire, and P’noy, the housekeeper and chef, made our stay extra special with her warmth and delicious food. We fell in love with the sweet resident cat and her tiny kitten – she was skinny when we arrived but thriving by the time we left. Please be kind to her – she’s so friendly and just adds to the heart of the place. Massages at the villa were fantastic, and while the villa may need a little TLC, it didn’t matter. We’d return in a heartbeat. Pure paradise. Don’t hesitate to book – it’ll change your life. Thanks Marc, Jook & P'noy!

Our stay here was fantastic! Everyone involved in the process, from the taxi service to the staff and host, was so helpful. I have to shout out to Toni and Sue, as they were very accommodating and friendly during our stay and helped enhance our experience. The view and villa look even better in person, and I would definitely return here in the future!

Wow, what a beautiful place. Exactly like the photos, check-in process is a breeze, the beautiful hosts had a very detailed list of restaurants to check out nearby, activities and so forth, as well as being very accomodating with booking things should we need to. Very peaceful and serene, far from the hustle and craziness but close to so many gems. The details within and outside the house are amazing and would definitely book this place again to experience for a much longer time. Thank you Stephen & Neaw

An amazing place to stay, highly reccomend!

Мы провели на вилле неделю с друзьями и детьми , дом очень уютный и красивый, большой теплый чистый бассейн, много бытовой техники и посуды, все новое и чистое, территория ухоженная. Находится в отдалении от пляжа, мы шли пешком 3 км , рядом нет магазинов и кафе , нужен транспорт. Уборка была один раз без смены постельного белья и полотенец. Единственное, что омрачило отдых это то, что мы договорились о продлении виллы на 4 дня, нам подтвердили, а потом отказали, выставив цену в 2 раза дороже )

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt in dieser wunderschönen AirBnB-Anlage auf Koh Samui! Besonders hervorzuheben ist der wunderschöne Pool, der jeden Tag zum Entspannen einlud, sowie die ruhige Lage, die es uns ermöglichte, wirklich abzuschalten. Die Anlage ist sehr neu und in einem super Zustand – man fühlt sich sofort wie zu Hause.

Beautiful airbnb, such a nice secluded location so peaceful! The facilities were excellent, very comfortable for four people staying. Hosts were attentive & lovely cleaners. Kitty is the cutest cat ever, we miss her already! We didn’t use scooters, just taxis just make sure you order them on bolt and that they take you up the hill! Amazing stay.

Tout était parfait l'appartement est incroyable et la vue également. Seul petit bémol pour la piscine qui est assez loin et l'accès pentue qui est un peu embêtant car les chauffeurs ne veulent pas monter jusqu'en haut.

Nous avons adoré rester dans ce logements, la vue est incroyable, le logement est bien meilleur que sur les photos. Dépaysement total dans la jungle, un cadre reposant et un apaisant

Jättebra boende med en magiskt bra utsikt både från poolen och boendet. Stort och rymligt med en stor terrass som är väldigt skön att sitta på. Allt finns som man behöver i ett kök. Det enda jag saknade va en AC i vardagsrummet då det blev väldigt varmt där. AC fanns i sovrummet. Mkt trevlig och hjälpsam värd som välkomnar en på mkt bra sätt. Rekommenderar till två personer som sover tillsammans i sovrummet pga AC.

Great place to stay

We have stayed at a lot of airbnbs and all I can say is - wow. Sama loft is truly a special place, decorated with utmost care and so many special touches - it’s really a beautiful spot. It’s a little oasis that’s still very close to the action. Great WiFi, beautiful space, comfortable bed and gorgeous bathroom, close to shops and restaurants. We would absolutely recommend this space to anyone. It’s really even better than the pictures in person. Natalie and her team were extremely accommodating - highly recommend!

Wir hatten einen guten Aufenthalt in der Villa. Es ist alles wie beschrieben und auf den Fotos zu sehen. Mr Kun war immer erreichbar und sehr freundlich. Er war sowohl beim Check In und Check out anwesend und hat uns ein Taxi organisiert. Bei der Ankunft war bereits eine große Menge Wasser im Kühlschrank als Gastgeschenk. Für deutsche Standards ist es vielleicht nicht ganz sauber, da die Böden oder Waschbecken im Bad Kalkflecken usw zeigen. Für Thailändische Standards ist es aber in Ordnung. Wir haben uns trotzdem sehr wohl gefühlt. Zwischendurch wurde immer wieder der Pool gereinigt und es kam ein Reinigungsservice mit neuen Handtüchern usw. Die Villa liegt auf einem steilen Hügel. Der Hügel ist wirklich sehr steil, also man braucht auf jedenfall einen Roller.

We stayed four weeks at Lauren’s place and we were sad to leave. The flat is exactly as it looks in the photos: clean, spacious, and with a well-equipped kitchen. Both the bed and the sofa were both huge and very comfortable. The pool was fantastic. There are two washing machines in the complex, but we did our laundry at a place two minutes down the lane where the shopkeeper always had 10-baht coins in change. It takes about 30 mins to walk to Chaweng Beach. Initially, we were disappointed that the beach was further than we anticipated. But in the end we saw this as a positive: the neighbourhood is quiet, but still close to restaurants and a good supermarket. It’s also in the middle of a local residential neighbourhood, which we appreciated as much of Chaweng is relentless resorts. To go further, we used Grab. (note that taxis are relatively expensive in Samui). Do pack an HDMI cable as the TV in the flat isn’t a smart TV. Overall, great value for money in this price range.

We really enjoyed our stay at Paul’s condominium. It was just as he described, spacious and comfortable with a great view. We felt very safe and secure and usually left our front door and back slider wide open to take advantage of a great cross breeze thru the condo. It was our first time staying in an Airbnb, where we had to pay the electricity and water separately, which turned out to be no problem. Although the temperatures were in the mid 80s, we only had to use the air conditioning in the bedroom at night time while sleeping. We stayed nine nights and had the cleaners come in one time and the total charge was just over 800 Baht (about $2.50 per day). The hill to walk into town mentioned by Paul is very steep! Walking up it in the afternoon sun was a killer. We would definitely recommend this Airbnb to our friends and family.

Brian is an exceptional host—kind, attentive, and always willing to help. He arranged our pickup from Nathon Pier (since we took the ferry from Krabi) and can also help organize a motorbike, which we’d highly recommend for getting around (the hill is steep, but the location is worth it!). His guestbook is full of great recommendations, and his hospitality made our stay seamless. The condo itself is stunning, with unbeatable ocean and cliff views from the balcony—waking up to that scenery felt surreal! It’s also super spacious, clean, and just 2 minutes from Bo Phut Temple and 13 minutes from Fisherman’s Village (which we visited often). The pool area is lovely, and the whole place has a peaceful, luxurious vibe. We wish we could give 10 stars—for the price this was one of our favorite stays in Thailand, and we can’t wait to return. Large apartment with a beautiful view. Chris is always in touch and happy to help. Apartment has everything you need. Definitely worth what we paid. I wish it was cleaner, but that’s ok. Also feel like I was charged too much for electricity, I intentionally used as little as necessary, and still ended up paying for a few days what my friend that lives nearby pays in a month. Not the end of the world. Overall worth it and definitely recommend!

Oshin has been a wonderful host, we found the apartment to be exactly the same as described, i was in awe of the same. Great Location, Great Air Conditioners. Great aesthetics. the only thing which bothered me was behaviour of the reception staff, but that is not Oshin's responsibility. Also, the Lights in the apartment, some are not working and switching layout is just so confusing.

Жильё было прекрасное! Чистота, тишина,красота, комфорт. Классно что дополнительно в нашем распоряжении были такие мелочи как : зонтики, спрей от насекомых, путеводители, все мелочи для приготовления пищи масло, соль и пр. Хороший бассейн. Нам очень понравилось!

My son and I loved this HUGE condominium. It was close to everything. We loved the big beds, clean bathrooms, and lovely view of the pool. We were met upon arrival and shown around the place. We paid our deposit and were told about paying for the electricity usage. We didn’t use the AC very much. I had to turn it off at night because I was too cold. Both bedroom face the street and have very large windows. The street is very quiet so there was no problem with noise. The beds are very comfortable. They only have a light top sheet - no light blanket. I loved this condo, but I did not like the lighting in the vanity and sink area. It’s too dark. I will echo what others have said about the uncomfortable furniture. The couch is awful. The main living/kitchen room has two ceiling fans but no AC, so that area gets very warm. If you want a good Thai massage, go to Mochi massage. The owner with long hair is amazing. My son said he had the best massage of his life.
