The Studio is in the centre of one of Wales' most scenic villages at the foot of the Berwyn Mountains. It is a self-contained studio with a double bed or 2 singles, dining/sitting areas, kitchen and shower room. The Hand Hotel serves great food, best to book. Well placed for a long weekend of walking, cycling or visiting the Pontcysyllte World Heritage site, Llangollen with its heritage railway, Lake Vernwy, waterfalls and many more wonderful places. An excellent base for exploring North Wales.

"Glyn Mawr Holiday Cottage" is a beautiful, newly renovated cottage with stunning views over Bala lake and mountains. It's set back in it's own valley and has incredible 360 degree views of nature. It's just 10 mins drive from Bala town and walking distance to the lake. Patio doors from the lounge open onto a side garden where you can enjoy BBQs, and in the garden behind there are views of Bala lake and mountains. There's a kingsize bed upstairs + a kingsize sofa bed downstairs to sleep four.

Yr Efail is situated in Llanfor a small village 3/4 of a mile from the market town of Bala. The property is a converted blacksmiths workshop were the owners family have worked since 1905. Recently renovated into a fully equipped self catering cottage. The property is single story providing easy access for all. Shops, restaurants and pubs are situated in Bala which you can reach by road or on foot along a footpath. We live in the village and available to recommend places to eat and visit.

Little paradise for us on our weekend away! Beautifully furnished and stunningly clean. Little homely details like Welsh cakes on arrival, free logs for the fire, fully stocked bathroom and flowers on the outside table that just made it that little bit more special. Chris was an incredibly kind and welcoming host! The home had beautiful views of the mountains with space to walk by the river and picnic right on the doorstep. We managed to see a lot of snowdonia while staying, as well as many birds and cats in the garden. The space was very clean and we really appreciated the eco friendly and sustainable ways Chris and Julie have set it up. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone else wanting to be immersed in peace and nature!

This is our second time staying at the Warren Bothy, we love it here. Peaceful, totally off grid, a great place to unwind and relax. The Bothy itself is gorgeous and has everything you need for a restful few days. The shower is also great! We had dinner at the nearby Station Inn at Marshbrook and would definitely recommend.

Stunning cottage and location with the most amazing views. The cottage was fabulous and a great place to relax and absorb the beauty. It was cosy and we felt right at home. There were plenty of books and maps with good WiFi Such was the raw beauty of the location that we didn’t once put the TV on and instead watched nature and birdlife. The bird life was incredible and we lost count of the number of close up red kites we saw. The facilities were great and the kitchen was well supplied with pans and utensils. There was an abundance of hot water and the bed was plenty comfy enough to get a good nights rest. With walks from the door into the vast wilderness this was a perfect off grid location We would return in a heartbeat. There were no negatives and it’s probably the best cottage we’ve stayed at. There’s a dog friendly enclosed garden with seating and a bench. Perfect for sitting out with a glass of wine and reading! Jon’s made this cottage a perfect retreat.
