Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lake Shelbyville

We found ourselves in Shelbyville for a wedding and Lauren’s place was perfect! It is conveniently located just off the main strip so minutes to everything. The local restaurants were great. We also explored the local parks and dam area which the kids loved! The house worked perfectly for us too. Three rooms housed our kids, us as well as my father. The character of the space and decor were charming. It is an older, original house so the floors creak, but otherwise it was fully functional and perfect to make breakfast and relax after the park.

We had a great time. The kids fished most of the day. The back porch was a great place to hang out and eat dinner. Nice place to stay.

Renee was a great host with quick response time and provided added resources for what shelbyville had to offer. The house exceeded our expectations and we appreciated all the amenities that the house had to offer- will be recommending to other organizations to use for retreats!

The place continues to be a peaceful retreat while visiting a chaotic family. We always check for this location first when planning a trip to the area.

We were in the area for soccer and had our dogs with us, so didn't want to get a hotel room. Sean's place was right on the lake and had plenty of space for 3 adults, 1 teenager, an elementary aged kiddo, and 2 dogs. Beds were comfy and several areas to sit and enjoy each others company, both inside and out. Highly recommend working with Sean and taking advantage of this serene location.

We had a great weekend at Monica’s! The house was beautiful and the location was great - so close to the park and the lake. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time staying in Casey and finding all the Big Things throughout town. This house was lovely and perfect for our needs. We were able to walk into town which was nice and my pup was so happy to be along for the trip! I would definitely come back to Casey and stay here again.

I enjoyed staying at Brandon’s place. This is my second time staying at this cozy home while visiting family in Decatur. He has everything one would need to cook a large meal. The entire space is very comfortable. Thanks for providing a place for me to stay while visiting in Decatur.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your beautiful little cabin! Everything was immaculate, charming, and comfortable! The kitchen and bathroom were very well stocked. The area around the home was so pretty and peaceful. And, the candlelight to come home to in the evening was a special touch! Highly recommend this home! Brittany was a very gracious host!!

The cabin was very nice and in a quiet place - exactly as described. The host was very helpful with questions and responded quickly. I'd recommend the place to anyone interested in this area.

I only stayed for one day but it was great! There were a few cons such as the location being right off the road, some ants in the kitchen and ac dripping water in the bedroom. Other than those, the space was amazing. My favorite thing was the pond. It’s definitely worth the price!

Wow, this place was exactly what we needed. Total privacy, fresh air, and just the right kind of quiet. The signal was spotty, which honestly made it even better.....we fully unplugged and loved it. The cabin was cozy and stocked with everything we needed. We didn’t get to use the fire pit because it was a bit too windy during our stay, but it looked like the perfect setup for calmer nights. The deck lights up beautifully in the evening, and the stars? Absolutely unreal. With zero light pollution, it was one of the most humbling night skies we’ve seen this year. Great hosts, great spot, great time. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

Our family of 5 loved our visit to the Aikman Wildlife Adventure and the stay here at the Airbnb. Loved the deck and fire pit and got to see the reindeer and other deer up right near the kitchen window in the morning. So fun to see camels and other animals across the pond too. Appreciated that everything was fenced in making it safe for our young kids to wander about. Would recommend!

The Willow Creek Cabin was clean, well stocked and comfortable. Our family retreat was very successful. Jennifer responded quickly to questions. I recommend this rental for a comfortable stay.

The photos don't do it justice, it was way better than what we expected, very private and rustic, with all the amenities that you could need, I loved it!

The place was really nice. We stayed there with a few friends on our way to Turkey Run State Park. We used the outdoor fire pit which had the grates you could decide to use or not on it. We used it for delicious tin foil dinners. The bed upstairs is HUGE and super comfy. This may be in the description already and we didn’t realize but there are a couple small cabins right next to the house that other guests rent out so it’s not as private as we were expecting. The place had everything we needed and even provided cans of Ski for us to enjoy. We would definitely come back if we are in the area again!
