Beautiful spot in the woods! Easy to drive into town and to spots to explore around the island, and a comfortable retreat to come back to with a campfire at the end of the day.

I simply cannot say enough about the care, and professionalism, that went into making the Index Sea Containers the idyllic Airbnb stay. From the moment of arrival, you will feel warmth and welcome that the home exudes. From the breathtaking views of the waterside Sauna, to the thoughtful design details throughout the house you will appreciate all that went into making this experience truly special. The highlights for us were the cozy beds, accent lighting throughout the home, pristine kitchen design, heated floors, best toilets on the planet (lol) and hearing the rain fall on the roof in the evening. We will for sure be back. Nick was top notch with his communication and seems like a stand up guy who really enjoys creating a space for people to share both time and memories. Book for a unique, and unforgettable, stay.

We were here for my partners birthday and we had a cozy night watching movies and hanging out in the hot tub. Neighbors are near but the tall fences help you feel like you're more isolated than you are. The actual house was very well stocked with anything you can need for cooking or eating "at home." Thank you!

The property is private and serene. The creek was wonderful to sit by in the mornings with a cup of coffee to get your day started. Tons of hiking trails nearby that provide beautiful views and a nice challenge. The surroundings are top notch with beautiful mountains and forests everywhere you look. Will definitely spend time here again when we are back in the area. The hosts are helpful and communicative. Would recommend to other potential guests.

Crissy was so accommodating when I requested to book a last minute trip after a long weekend. Her place was beautiful, looked like the pictures and was well-designed. I will definitely be back!

Breath taking views. Nothing more rewarding than finishing a few hikes and ending the day in the hot top with spectacular views. Lots of spiders outside yes, as expected, but we didn’t mind. Everything you need is significantly close to location. This cabin was more than we could have imagined! Would definitely love to stay here again.

Was looking for a peaceful weekend getaway, and this was absolutely perfect. The surrounding mountains and river created such an idyllic environment—it was the perfect spot to unwind. I especially loved the new cedar plank hot tub that was just installed. There were so many great hiking trails nearby, and Leavenworth was just a short day trip away. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this spot to friends and family!

This was the perfect get away cabin! It’s just far enough out of the cities to feel secluded but close to enough to not feel like it’s a constant commute to do anything. The cabin was extremely well stocked and a very comfortable stay. Every evening was perfect with the deck and views to settle down for the night. I hope to be able to come again soon!

We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful A-Frame in the forest. It was wonderful to be off the highway and our dog loved the surrounding forest. The house is very comfortable and the fireplace keeps everything cozy. The kitchen has great equipment and knives. Even had an espresso machine (bring beans). We loved being able to come back after a day of skiing.

Dan is a great host! His rustic cabin looked like the photos, was extremely clean, and well organized. This is a great place for young families with a ton of board games, an old style arcade game to pick multiple old school games, a new gaming system, toys, swing set, and crib. My tween kids loved the video games and the well maintained hot tub the most. I especially liked having the EV charging as well. Thank you for a great stay Dan!!

This cabin has so much to offer! Great records, books, games, a fully stocked kitchen and a porch with a fantastic view in nature was spectacular. The attention to detail and lovely 70s vibe decor really stood out. It happened to be free state park weekend while staying so I was able to check out the parks close by. My dog enjoyed the yard and being welcomed, too. This has been one of my favorite destinations yet. Excellent stay and amenities.

This cabin was incredibly cozy, spotless, and had such a peaceful, welcoming vibe from the moment we walked in. Everything was thoughtfully prepared and there were great local recommendations for food, hikes, and places to explore. One of our favorite things was sitting out on the porch, just soaking in the view of the river. It was so calming to hear the water flowing by, especially at night. We kept the windows open just to fall asleep to that sound. If you're looking for a quiet, clean, and peaceful escape, this place delivers. Jennifer was also flexible with our check in and check out times, and we really appreciated that. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

Beautiful cottage on the water! The surroundings are very peaceful. Nice to watch the tides. the kitchen was well outfitted includingna gas range and teapot! Loved it, thanks, Erin!

We loved our experience at The Nest. Lots of blankets and pillows and it was overall very comfortable. Claire left us some gift certificates for local cafes which we used and appreciated. She was very responsive to all of my questions and requests for recommendations. Super private and quiet. Our dog was welcome and very happy there. One note, be sure to bring insect repellent if you plan to use the fire pit (which we did and loved!)

Carlo was a great host in every way. His beautiful property came right out of a dream that left me feeling relaxed and refreshed after days away from the daily grind. Lots of fantastic hikes for any skill level nearby, fun town things to do within 1 hour drive, and the most breath taking views everywhere! we will definately be back!

We had an awesome stay at Tracy’s hobbit house! It was clean and peaceful, and a perfect one night stay for a concert at Remlinger farms. There were bears and other wildlife close by so definitely keep pets close. I would absolutely stay here again!!

Awesome stay!!! The house and accomodations were fantastic and comfortable. Very relaxing and peaceful place to stay especially after long day hiking and spending time in the Seattle area. Worth the drive to Wye Lake especially with lake view and secluded location. Melissa is a wonderful and friendly host. She responded quickly and was very clear with instructions. The waterfront cabin is wonderful and Bill and Sue are fantastic hosts! Two of us stayed there with my 85-year-old mother who is not very mobile. We parked right next to the front door so it was easy to move her inside. Mom was also able to venture out onto the spectacular water and mountain view deck using her walker. She has a hard time speaking but at one point she threw up her hands and came out with a complete sentence, “I love this place!” We did too. We enjoyed walking on the beach, watching boats, birds, and seals. Thank you again Bill, hope to stay there again someday.

Beautifully accommodated cabin on the river! We enjoyed quiet mornings around the campfire on the deck overlooking the river and evenings in the hot tubs. There’s a train that occasionally goes nearby with a wonderful hum along the trucks but not intrusively so. It’s far enough off the highway that you don’t hear every car passing by and yet don’t feel deserted in the backcountry either. We wanted for nothing in the kitchen after bringing our essentials. The space was great for four women staying 3 nights together. Absolutely recommend and hope to return!

We loved staying at this woodsy cabin! It was close to everything, but so quiet and peaceful. The views in the morning and evening from the deck were gorgeous. Wendy was a great host and super responsive to any questions we had. We would happily stay there again.

We had a relaxing, peaceful stay! We opened up the sliding door downstairs in order to hear the river (which is just a short walk away), and had easy access to Mount Rainier National Park. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean (with plenty of hot water for showers), the kitchen had everything we needed to cook full meals, and the sofa was comfy for watching some tv in the evening. Overall, a great stay! Thank you!

I really enjoyed the view of the river and of she mountains, the privacy of being away from the road, the availability of the sauna, hot tub, the deck, fire pit and BBQ. Also, there was games to play with for friends or children. A very well rounded place to stay for peace and quiet.

Everything was fantastic and Samah responded extremely fast to all our questions. Definitely recommend! Lots of seals and wildlife to watch!

Relax, reflect, rejuvenate, and for me, relive a childhood memory that was a place called Never - Never Land. The moment we walked into the mushroom house we knew the next 48 hours would be magical and healing. The attention to detail inside and out is nothing like anything I've experienced before in a vacation rental. You will absolutely fall in love with this whimsical place that Rod and Shannon have created. "Into the forrest I go, to lose my mind and find my soul".
