Holiday rentals with a patio in Lake San Marcos

It was perfect for what we needed. I saw the reviews and it did has a funky smells every time we when back to the rental, but with the room spray was fix. I guess the cleaning people din’t put toilet paper but sed was so quickly to fix it and deliver toilet paper. I like that it had everything from stove to laundry room . I would go back . Me and my boys enjoy the cute little place . Thank you!

Such a great place! I’ve stayed in a fair few good airbnbs, but this one really stood out. The location is great and the home was absolutely pristine, but what I really appreciated was that everything the house was stocked with was superior quality. I’ve never stayed in a place that did the small things so well - the pans were great, the appliances were great, the towels, the bed linens, they even had a full set of glass Tupperware and a water filter in the fridge.

5-star Airbnb and host, parking/entry was simple and easy, Renee is 100% responsive, and it’s clear this host cares that you have a great stay. The place is as described, very clean, fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds with THE SOFTEST SHEETS/PILLOWCASES EVER, and nice extra touches. Bright and light, quiet at night, 1.5 bathrooms, and close to beach and coastal towns.

This was perfect spot, walking distance to Mission Bay, restaurants, grocery store, etc. It was clean, quiet and we had a great stay!

We had a great stay at Kevin’s condo and loved the proximity to the beach. Getting to see the ocean out the windows was so nice and being a 2 minute drive to the beach was ideal for us with young kids. The area offers a lot of great food spots and things to do too! His place was clean and comfortable for us four and had everything we needed (minus a high chair which we brought with) to make ourselves at home for the week.

Perfect place to stay. The apartment was beautiful, the queen size bed was very comfortable. I needed some help opening the couch bed and Danny took care of it as soon as I asked. Everything looked clean and smelled clean too. We had plenty of bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths. The kitchen was totally stocked with everything needed to cook a meal or eat carryout. There was cold water in the fridge waiting for us. An unexpected delight were the fresh flowers on the kitchen table, bedroom, and by the bathroom sink. We only had one inconvenience, the push button lock wouldn't lock. Rosina & Danny gave us a key to come & go with. The landscaping was meticulously kept up. Lush cactus, passion flower, & different succulents made the garden gorgeous. This made us feel like it was our own little piece of paradise. Rosina and Danny were SUPER hosts. I can not say enough good things about them!

This is hands down one of the best stays my husband and I have ever had! Not only was the place super easy to find, but it was well stocked, clean and comfortable. The host, Connie, was extremely kind and flexible with us when our check in was late. She made us feel right at home and the value of the stay far exceeds the price. I highly recommend their granny flat in La Mesa and hope I can come back again very soon!!

Hannah was such a wonderful host! Her place was so cute and clean. She had everything we could have possibly needed and more. She has tons of extra amenities that I wasn’t expecting and was a very thoughtful host. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you for a wonderful stay, Hannah 😊

As a family we really enjoyed our stay! The home was well appointed and was filled with so many great family activites and games that made the 'hang time' with the family, young and old, so easy! Zeina and Mo did a great job responding to our needs and concerns and we were grateful to be able to work with them. Would definitely consider staying with them again! The grandkids are already asking when can we go back!!

Kellys place was just as described; super loaded with things to do, games of every kind, ping pong in the garage ( a blast) a firepit and life-size chessboard in the backyard ( we played) and in walking distance of VONS grocery and a nice shopping center (a few of us walked there). The bedding was super comfy and I LOVE the plantation shutters which showcase the beautiful surroundings. I also want to thank Kelly for being so helpful. I reached out a few days before our check-in and asked if she had a cofee grinder (they have both a kuerig and regular coffee pot) and she said she thought they did, but if they didn't, she''d buy one. And It was there upon check-in. :-) The BEST! We highly recommend, miss it and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

This airbnb was conveniently located and was as advertised. Place was clean and the check-in process was seamless. Would definitely check out other Wander locations in the future.

Robin was a great hostess. She was extremely responsive but we didn' really need to communicate with her ince we were checked in. The cottage was a beautiful little space that was perfect for my two older parents. The area was quiet, off set from the main street but still close enough (5-15mins) to groceries, shopping and the beach. The cottage has plenty of ameneties for your stay and 1 spot for parking.

Andy and his wife were both hosts and helped us with any questions that we had during our stay. The house was really clean and looks as similar to what the photos were.

Viktoriya was a great host and the backyard was truly an oasis! Also the beds were sooo comfortable. If we are ever back in Carlsbad we will be staying again! Cannot recommend enough:)

I enjoyed staying at Vivian's place and it worked just fine for my purposes. I was in town for a conference and the home is about a 20 minute walk to the convention center. The apartment was well appointed and I appreciated the in-unit washer and dryer. The home is in a quiet area of the city and fairly residential. There weren't many people walking around when I was coming back at night, which did give me pause as a solo female traveler, however I found the surroundings to be safe and had no problems.

Lauren was a pleasure to deal with. The home is beautiful. The location the views and the pool were amazing. There is an elevator which was perfect for a wheelchair. Thank you Lauren we hope to rent from you again.

Dalma’s place was wonderful for our family. It was private and had a fenced in shared backyard space, which was great for our little kids. She had wonderful extras such as the beach items, coffee options for the morning, kids toys and books, and plenty of blankets if needed when it cooled off at night. Beach and restaurants were close within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!

Joseph is a great host and the place truly is a tropical paradise with easy access to the beach & downtown Oceanside in walking distance (.5 mi). The property does feel like a hotel but having an “adults only” hot tub is nice to get away from children if you’re wanting that. My friends and I walked to local restaurants and coffee shops each day. The place is very clean and he’s got pretty much everything you could need include extra fans and sound machines if you need some white noise to sleep, which I do so I was pleasantly surprised! Will stay here again if I’m ever in the area.

Great place. I recommend if you need a quiet and comfy place to stay. If you have a car, they have a parking spot if needed :)

The beach was literally within steps! We were looking forward to having a relaxing trip - which we did. I loved that beach chairs and coolers were provided had we needed them. Assigned parking made me feel safe.

This is our family second time coming to Oceanside. The home is clean close to the beach and restaurants. Cassandra does a great job communicating and getting back to you. We’ve never had any issues or any concerns. We’ll definitely be back for a third time. We absolutely love staying here.

I cannot say enough about Leslie and Kaylie. Absolutely everything was perfect. Every I was dotted and t was crossed. Communication with them was amazing. The home was beautiful.
