Yurt holiday rentals in Lake Ontario

We had a wonderful relaxing stay in the yome - loved looking at the stars at night and meeting the animals in the morning! Breakfast was incredible, thanks for opening your farm to us!

The yurt is the best AirBnB I’ve ever stayed at! It is such a unique experience to stay there. We slept so well in the quiet and peaceful environment in the forest. We also enjoyed the walking trails and seeing all the animals on David and Trish’s farm. They are truly great hosts in a wonderful location!

My husband and I were scrambling to find a place to stay for some last minute plans in the area and I am so glad I happened to come across Paula and John's place. If you are thinking of booking. just go ahead and do it. The property is really amazing and full of things to do. The yurt is so cool! Comfy bed and all the needed amenities. The (detached) bathroom even has real plumbing! Paula and John are both extremely friendly and are there on the property to help with whatever you may need. We had a great stay and really enjoyed kayaking on the canal in the mornings. We can't wait to come back!

This is a really beautiful spot and a great atmosphere to kick back, slow down and relax. The yurt and kitchen both have a cozy, artsy feel that is very welcoming. The deck behind the yurt is a wonderful spot to have a morning coffee and watch the birds over the water. If your stay is in the summer, definitely take a dip in the river by the falls. Karen and Kevin were great hosts and we enjoyed chatting with them. We explored the rail trails nearby on our bikes, and there's lots of great hiking in the area too.

Our stay was so relaxing and peaceful. Judy was a great host and staying in a Yurt was a wonderful experience. It was so refreshing to unplug and live off grid for awhile. Kitchen and bathroom were better than you can expect for being outdoors. Definitely will go back, highly recommend such a jem. Thanks to our host Judy, for all you did for us, and for the fresh veggies and flowers on our table.

The yurt was so peaceful and cozy! The adornment of the inside was beautiful and felt extremely homey. The temperature inside the yurt was always comfortable and could be adjusted. The location was in close proximity to downtown Ithaca and many state parks! The sheep were so sweet and vocal (amazing greeters). Melissa was very attentive and kind, we can’t wait to return!

We had an amazing fall getaway. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an adventurous (but very peaceful) getaway. Beautiful trails to explore. Very nice out door fire pit and well organized outdoor kitchen. Our kids had a blast.

Guy is a very responsive and helpful host, and it was great to meet him and get some helpful information about the house. We also met Sooty who is adorable! The house is small but had plenty of room for the two of us and the bed was very comfortable. We liked the local area, it's very close to the lake and local amenities. We'd recommend the Stoltzfus Family farm shop which has incredible local produce.

I stayed there for a night with my spouse. Jennifer was an amazing host and did an outstanding job to make the space so welcoming, soothing and much beyond expectations. The place is so well maintained, hygienic and aesthetically pleasing.Everything is so well maintained and instructions are very easy to follow. The place is a must visit and an absolute delight 😊

The yurt and surrounding property are so charming and peaceful. I loved the location, right on the lake. I loved that there was a restaurant right on the property, a small bar, and a ton of spots to sit with a cocktail or coffee. I also really liked that there are communal firepits that are lit each night. I would have loved to stay longer. One suggestion would be that the hotel has different check-out times than the listing, so just getting that sprted would be awesome.

What a great experience! Local eateries and bar experience was great! Easy check in and the Yurt was the perfect way to “camp” without “tenting it” the private bathroom was an amazing feature. Would highly recommend Plum Point lodge and Yurts.

Great stay in a unique yurt was a fun way to spend a night, the location is great. This is a lodge that has other types of lodging and a restaurant on site. We did not eat in it but it was quite popular the night we were there. We would definitely stay there again.

The love shack + yurt was such a great getaway for our mini moon in mid September! We wanted glamping vibes and definite got them with the wood burning pizza oven and the modern finishes in the bathroom and kitchen. We absolutely love having bikes onsite to explore grindstone. Would definitely recommend this place for a small group or family!!

I had a beautiful stay at the yurt and the best sleep I’ve had in ages! The space was quiet, cozy and had everything I needed. The surrounding woods were gorgeous and a delight to explore. (My dog loved it too!) This is a very special place, imbued with peace and creative energy. Thank you for being such generous and welcoming hosts!

The yurt was very nice: clean, well-furnished, and in a great location. Check-in was easy, and the staff were very nice. We had a great time!

Great location if you are looking to get away. The yurts were in great condition, well kept and clean. We will be back!
