Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lake Lucerne

Janine is a very hospitable, helpful, and attentive host. Her home was spotlessly clean and gave us great peace of mind during our family stay. The location is perfect—nestled in the Alps and right by a flowing stream, we enjoyed a wonderful three-night stay. The house is equipped with everything you might need.

Regula and Sascha are absolutely lovely people and their home is a gem. Like others have wrote, they have thought about every detail from a wood-fired oven for pizzas to an herb garden to pick for meals to even pre-paying for our bus card to get around town. They were so kind to show us around their home when we checked in and explained everything we would need to know. The property is stunning and so peaceful with access to the lake for swimming or to take the ferry as well as a bus stop at the end of the street. I hope to stay in their home again and I would recommend it to anyone considering! Paradise! Wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed more sunshine. Thank you both so much!

For 6 of us, it is a great place to stay. You will not have an issue at all if you have your own transportation to go around, which is what we did during the 3 nights there. We cooked dinner for all three nights for 6 of us at the house and enjoyed the view. We have already missed this house now as we are in Interlaken for another 4 nights with a different style of Airbnb. After sharing our photos and experience of the house with my sisters, they are interested in booking the same house for their future trip to Europe.

Wir haben sehr von Rolf und Norma’s Gastfreiheit und Freundlichkeit genossen. Wir sind sehr warm und herzlich empfangen, es wurde auch sofort ein Feuer angemacht um die Wohnung zu erwärmen. Unsere Tochter durfte uns auch besuchen und dort übernachten, das war ganz selbstverständlich. Kurz gesagt, wir können es 100% empfehlen und wenn wir wieder in Zürich sind kommen wir gerne wieder zurück. Die Wohnung war genau wie versprochen und wie auf den Fotos, einfach super! Dieser Bungalow ist einfach ein absolutes Schmuckstück. Jedes Detail in diesem Haus zeugt von viel Liebe und Stil. Wir haben uns auf Anhieb total wohl und willkommen gefühlt. So war der Whirlpool bereits aufgeheizt und parat für uns. Die Küche lässt keine Wünsche offen, alles ist da. Weiter lädt das bequeme Sofa zu gemütlichen Abenden ein und später wartet ein sehr bequemes Bett auf einen. Fabienne ist eine herzliche Gastgeberin, die proaktiv kommuniziert und sehr grosszügig ist. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

In Schuss gehaltenes Einfamlienhaus an bester Lage am See, in der Nähe Bahnhof und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Man kann soviel unternehmen - Sport, Wandern, Velo, See, Museen. Sehr nette Vermieter die immer Zeit für einen haben.

We had a lovely stay at Riad’s - easy check in, extremely clean home and a very responsive host. We really appreciated the amenities, which included a washer, dishwasher and a Dyson hairdryer among others (have to note this in particular, as many hotels have weak / inefficient hair dryers, so to have a Dyson while traveling, as at home, is a game changer). Pictures do not do the view justice - the lake and surrounding mountains make for a lovely milieu. Highly recommend & would love to return someday!

Apartment was beautiful, clean and had all needs covered for the stay from kitchen to bathroom. There is an open terrace with chairs and table with a nice view to the mountains. Worth staying :)

We spent 5 nights at Jürg and Rachel’s apartment, and it was simply amazing. They were incredibly helpful and kind. The setting is beautiful, with a breathtaking view of Lake Thunersee, and there are plenty of hikes to enjoy in the area. The place is peaceful and cozy — I highly recommend it. Don’t hesitate to go and enjoy nature to the fullest!

We had a wonderful experience at this Airbnb! The place was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, and had everything we needed – very well-equipped. The views were lovely and the location was perfect and peaceful. Our host was incredibly welcoming and helpful – she made us feel right at home and was always there if we had any questions or needed anything. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area! ❤️

This place was cute but very very small. We had to close up our suitcases and tuck them under the bed otherwise there was no room to walk. The place is surrounded by mountains which is very beautiful. Kitchen was fully equipped which I always appreciate in an Airbnb. The hot tub in the photos is an extra fee of $50 Franks for the first night, which is in the description but we missed it. Very clean place and responsive host. I recommend staying here.

Monika’s place was fantastic! The apartment is perfect and very well thought out. It has everything you need. I have two little girls and they were so excited to have so many things available for them. The beds, the stuffies and toys! Monika really thought of it all. As some people have written it is a bit of a hike getting up to the room but it’s so worth it. The view is truly amazing and the little garden on the way up is so cute. We hope to come back someday!

Wir waren schon zum zweiten mal Gast in dieser wunderschönen Alpenhütte und das sagt wahrscheinlich schon alles! :) Unser erster Aufenthalt in der Vorweihnachtszeit 2023 hätte mit frischem Neuschnee kaum schöner sein können. Auch diesmal Anfang März hatten wir traumhaftes Wetter - noch etwas Schnee, jeden Tag Sonnenschein und blauen Himmel - da können wir uns kaum einen erholsameren Ort als Cortinella vorstellen. Das Alpenpanorama in der Ruhe der Natur und natürlich der Hot Tub sind die Highlights in diesem Urlaubsparadies, wo es uns an nichts gefehlt hat - außer vielleicht genügend Urlaubstagen ;-) Hoffentlich kommen wir bald wieder!

nach einem abenteuerlichen und steilen aufstieg im anbruch der dunkelheit sind wir heilfroh oben angekommen und haben uns direkt sehr wohl gefühlt. wir hatten eine wunderbare zeit auch wenn das wetter eher ungemütlich war. wir wollen jedenfalls wieder kommen und freuen uns darauf sehr !

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in der Unterkunft. Auf unsere Fragen und Anliegen hat Noemi schnell und zugewandt reagiert. Vor allem die Erklärung per Video zur Nutzung des Pelletofens war sehr hilfreich. Da es ein kühler, regenreicher Tag war, war es sehr schön, etwas heizen zu können. Die Unterkunft ist auch gut für Leute, die wie wir mit dem Postbus anreisen. Es gibt im nächsten Dorf ein kleines Geschäft, was alles hat, was man in den Ferien benötigt. Und die Natur, die Ruhe sind wunderbar.

Marc ist ein fantastischer Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft ist eine typische Schweizer Berghütte mit Tradition was uns ausgesprochen gut gefallen hat. Die Anreise war komfortabel die Hütte ist gut zu erreichen. Danke Marc, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir hatten unser Wochenende im Haus sehr genossen. Die Lage ist super, zwar nah an der Strasse aber sehr ruhig, abgelegen und mit einem schönen Ausblick. Die Kommunikation war super und das Checkin und -out klar und flexibel, danke nochmals!

Wir durften ganz spontan ein verlängertes Wochenende im bijou sitterblick verbringen. Das Häuschen und die Umgebung haben die Erwartungen voll erfüllt. Besonders gefallen hat uns der wunderschön überwachsene Aussenbereich. Sehr nette und unkomplizierte Gastgeber, die ihr Ferienhäuschen und die Umgebung mit viel Liebe hegen und pflegen. Wir waren zu acht und haben eine super Zeit in Zuhause von Luana verbracht. Alles war wie beschrieben und das Beste am ganzen war für uns die Sauna - der perfekte Abschluss nach einer schönen Wanderung. Immer wieder gerne!
