Cabin holiday rentals in Lake Holcombe

My group of 6 had a fantastic weekend stay at Marla’s place! Marla was very communicative prior to our arrival, and instructions were clear on check in, the hot tub, and check out. The cabin was spacious with plenty of room for 6 adults to socialize together or spread out either inside or outside. The photos and descriptions are accurate- I felt we got exactly what we were looking for. We enjoyed gathering inside around the table, outside on the deck, around the fire, and down on the beach. The beach was sandy and clear- a huge bonus. I would recommend Marla’s for both adults and families with kids.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautifully remodeled cabin on Lake Winter, and I can't recommend it enough! The cabin features an abundance of windows, creating a wonderful feeling of being surrounded by nature. At night, the lights streaming through the trees added a magical touch to the atmosphere. One of the standout features was the heated floors in the bathroom, which were a delightful surprise! Eric, the host, was incredibly responsive and communicated quickly. He provided excellent recommendations for local dining and amenities, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend planning a visit to this stunning cabin. It’s the perfect getaway!

We have nothing but positive things to say about our stay! The cabin was spotless, felt brand new and came with all of the amenities we needed, and more. Every morning we woke up to gorgeous sunrises and a beautiful lake view. The lake was clean and peaceful and we spotted turtles and lots of fish while paddle boarding… and a bald eagle while relaxing in the hot tub! Our kids would have loved the game room but this trip was just the two of us :) Angie was super kind and always very responsive. Highly recommend! We hope to come back again soon. We loved our stay at this beautiful and very private cabin. Obviously the photos are gorgeous and we knew we were going to love the overall feel, but it truly is wonderful being there. The giant windows open to the lake view and surrounding woods is heaven and are the part that I miss the most now that we're home. We really liked the fact that the cabin has a lived in feel (in the best way). I was worried that it would be TOO perfect and I wouldn't want to touch anything. LOVED the sauna so so much and it was beyond amazing that our lab was able to come with us. They had all the kitchen appliances/tools you'd need and having life jackets to use was awesome. I think reviews are such a good way to gain feedback from guests so I'll just list a few improvements/preferences here: softer sheets, a scissors, and a mop/swiffer to keep the floors clean. This cabin was very very tranquil and quiet during the week which is exactly what we were hoping for. We'd love to come back in the winter!

This cabin is really nice. They have quality amenities. The owner was very responsive. It was a relaxing girls trip. The beds are really comfortable and all around very homey. 10/10 would recommend.

Collin’s Hideout was the perfect cabin for a relaxing weekend getaway! Not only was the cabin beautiful, but so was the view from the back balcony looking out towards the lake. Even though it was rainy half of our stay we were still able to enjoy our time with the hot tub and card games. Getting out on the paddle boat, fishing, and having a fire was the perfect way to end our Saturday night! We even ended up catching 5 small mouth bass right off the dock! The two full kitchens were a great addition in helping store food and drinks! Andrea was a great host with fast communication! All the instructions from our arrival and check out were easy to understand. We will definitely be coming back, thank you so much for the amazing weekend!

We loved our stay at the Chippewa Cabin! It was a peaceful relaxing start to the summer. Great kitchen and dinning area to gather as a family. The open concept surrounded you with beautiful views from all around the cabin. It was very family friendly. Our 2yr old loved playing with the toys provided, play-set and exploring the river shore.

Henry was an excellent host. He is very communicative and the house was in an excellent location for us. So close to the family we came to visit. We will look to book again when we are up for a visit!

This was a short trip for my wife and 6 y/o son to experience the Northwoods. They are hooked and cant wait to come back again. The accommodations were excellent. Only thing i would ask for would be satellite tv.. A plus in our book.. Tha k you for everything and for sharing your cabin..

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Grove! There were so many things that they have thought of to make you feel at home during your stay. Our kids LOVED the kid kayaks! We enjoyed watching them in the calm bay or paddle boarding with them. So much fun for our entire family! We will be back.

We had a great stay at Gene’s place. It is extremely peaceful and quiet. The walk down to the lake is beautiful (like a nature trail). The home is well-equipped and has everything you need for a relaxing stay! It’s a beautiful retreat and a great place to recharge your batteries. I recommend it!

This is the perfect getaway cabin! My husband and I came for a few days to celebrate our anniversary and are so happy we booked this cabin. It was so cute, clean, and peaceful. The lake views are gorgeous and the cabin itself came with everything we needed. It is nestled away in a quiet neighborhood but close to delicious restaurants, wineries, and more! We will definitely be back. We also brought our dog and the neighborhood is very walkable but there are tons of hiking spots nearby. 10/10!

We are frequent visitors to this relaxing, natural woodland cabin because it has everything we love without having to leave the property. Loons, beaver kits at play, trumpeter swans, wildflowers and lots of trails to wander. The cabin has been updated with a very comfortable sofa and new lighting making for a great place to stretch out with a book. We will undoubtably return.

Everything was exactly as described. A great destination for 4 wheeling. ATV or UTV, casual and challenging trails in the area.

We loved our stay! It's a charming and clean house in a perfect location! They have everything you need for a relaxing stay. The porta potty was very clean and smelled great! We woke up to deer and turkeys. We will be going back for sure!

We had such a wonderful time. Home was just as listed. It was so cute. The grand boys loved the fishing!

As advertised. Great Lake access and only about a mile from the nearest landing. Dock is a little high for smaller aluminum boats, would be nice if there were some tire bumpers but we made it work. Clean & comfortable for 3 guys.

This was our second stay at this beautiful lake house, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered! Even though the weather wasn’t perfect this time, the house more than made up for it—it’s modern, clean, and has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. We really appreciated the hosts' recommendation to check out the local indoor pool, which was a fun way to spend a rainy few hours. The lake is incredibly clear and peaceful—such a calming view to wake up to. Our kids had a blast fishing and paddling around in the paddle boat. The whole trip flew by way too fast, and we’re already looking forward to coming back again. A new local favorite for us this trip was Redemption Cafe—an absolutely adorable outdoor spot that’s perfect for a coffee break, ice cream, and antiques. Highly recommend stopping by! This house continues to be a special retreat for our family!

Great place to stay. we didnt have the chance to use the fire pit but would be a great place to relax and have a fire right next to lake. Nice and handy area would be nice place to let the kids play in the lake.

Wow! This was my first Airbnb stay and Keriann set the bar high. She thought of every amenity a guest might need, and then thought of more. The cottage offered a quiet place to stay with a beautiful lakeside view. We enjoyed listening to the resident eagles chattering from their nearby nest and watching them soar to find their next meal. The two-level deck is huge and offered a wonderful space for us to gather. Everything inside the home was labeled, so we could easily find anything we were looking for. The beds were more comfortable than ours at home and there was an ample supply of extra pillows and blankets. Our only regret was booking 2 nights instead of many more. Keriann was so kind and so responsive to help us secure our last minute reservation. She is a gem of a host. Her commitment to provide the highest level of hospitality at her property is unmatched. We can’t wait to book our next visit to Eagle Crest Cottage!

We had an awesome getaway at Robb’s place. It was peaceful, so gorgeous, and seemed much larger and nicer than the photos. It was also very private, and we enjoyed access to the kayaks. The bed was comfy, as was the whole space. We would definitely recommend the Airbnb to others, and would stay here again if we can! Thanks for a great accommodation!

Great place! Suzanne was very responsive. Got a lot of fishing in and comfortable place to be after the full day of fishing.

Craig and Heidi were great hosts. They were quick to respond with answers if we had questions and even offered up some good fishing info. The cabin was perfect for our family fishing trip. We all loved the great view of the lake from the cabin. The fire pit was close the cabin and the kids enjoyed making s’mores and roasting marshmallows. The weather was a bit cold and rainy which made the fishing a little tough, but we did catch a few walleyes right from the dock. The lake has Moxi Lounge on the lake which we took our boat to a few times. The staff were really nice and they have fancy NA drinks for the kids served with candy. All in all we had a great time. Would definitely stay again.
