Ikuhojyuku (育宝宿)Helping you travel comfortably!

JelmerRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A great place to stay, very kind hosts and easy to find. Everything was in order, and there is delicious breakfast included. Recommended to go here by car, as it's not near the station nor the center, but there are a couple of great temples nearby as well as convenience stores and some restaurants. Free parking is present, but not for very large cars.

Host was really nice!! I had to go to the hospital during my stay and she called me a taxi because I was no longer able to walk!! that was really nice of that! I recommend the place! The city is cute and intimate and it's close to the headtrail of Mount Bandai!

Self-check-in shared room with kitchen, 9-minute walk from Fukushima station

I had a great time staying at La union. Even though it’s a dorm, the space felt very secure and like I had my own private room. The bed was my favourite part! Really comfortable. The location is so convenient for buses and trains, it’s an excellent base to get anywhere. Everything is so clean. Had an issue with some overnight guests being loud in the middle of the night but that isn’t a reflection on the host, just the risk you take when sharing accommodation with strangers. I would absolutely stay here again! Highly recommend!

Absolute steal! The Japanese countryside view along with the wonderful host makes it the perfect place to stay, with tons of activities to do, such as helping the host with agriculture, climbing the highest mountain in the area, and going to an extremely hot onsen, not to mention the extremely friendly cat and dog on the farm. If time isn't a constraint, I would love to spend more time here.

We stayed for two nights and the host was so lovely we invited her to join our barbecue on the last night. She was so grateful she insisted on cooking and we honestly had the best time. The place was clean and super tidy. Would stay again and recommend to others

Niigata, Traditional wooden townhouses(Machiya) #3

I was staying alone on the day, as I was meeting up with my family the next day.It is a 150-year-old kimono shop in a shopping street that has been renovated and offered for accommodation, so it is not beautiful, but it was a very tasteful and charming inn. I am from Shibata City, and I was able to enjoy the nostalgic public bath (Iino no Yu) and the bar that was introduced to me. Please do your best to revitalize the townscape of Shibata City.I hope to be of some use to you, and I hope to visit you again. Thank you very much.
