A beautiful piece of heaven I was a pleasure to be in this place and the whole family enjoyed themselves. The canoes and the fire pit were a big hit. Jacuzzi was well received.

Perfect location! Unobstructed views of Lake Max from the 2 main bedrooms on the first floor and living space. Very close to town and not too far from the academy. I would rent this house again for the location and the views!

We have been going to Indiana Beach since 1976, A few years back, we found this beautiful house. And I look forward to it every year. The view is beautiful. It’s peaceful spacious plenty of rooms for myself and grandchildren.

House and location were wonderful!

I absolutely enjoyed my stay here. This was the perfect place to get away and relax. Gorgeous view, friendly neighbors, plenty of activities (including board games inside of house). Everything was super clean and house had a great smell. I booked last minute so I didn’t even read about the fishing poles or the fire pit. I can’t wait to come back. Might make this a yearly trip for me and the kids!

The large living space was perfect for our family trip to Indiana Beach. Six adults and four kids all felt at home. Deck was perfect for nature lovers. Driveway is steeply pitched from the road to the home. Address marker at the road would be best mounted on a post. We would have no problem booking here again!

I was literally shocked at how much our family loved this place, and we only stayed 1 night passing through on a cross country trip. The host was meticulous with his hospitality—this was a million times better than staying at a hotel for the night. What stood out to me, besides the cleanliness and thoughtful amenities, was the furniture and decor. I loved the chairs in the billiard room (did not utilize the billiards as we don’t know how to play). I spent a large portion of the night scanning the internet for similar chairs; they were so comfortable yet regal. The living room furniture and decor was excellent. The modern yet comfortable furnishings allowed me to relax in a tranquil space. Additionally, the backyard/lake area is gorgeous. I watched the sunset and my dog fought sticks. My family of 5 would give this places 10/10. If I am ever in Indiana, again, this would be the place to go. (In addition, I appreciated the technological aspects)

Ed’s place was perfect for us and he was a great host. A nice accommodation in a nice cozy house. Ed was very helpful with instructions and flexibility. Thanks a ton Ed, hope to come back some future time! Best regards.

We have stayed here several times it’s our go to place when we come to the the area. Owner has improved the outdoor landscaping and it looks great! Lakefront with great view! I recommend booking early!

The location is perfect if you want to visit Indiana Beach! It’s literally steps away from the entrance. The property is very cute and Cynthia was amazing to work with, even when we had an issue. Totally responsive and kind!

Had a fabulous time!!! Beautiful sunsets at night off the deck with a fire and a beautiful sunrise in the morning off the dock.., hibiscus and wild flowers were beautiful …, the kayaks and boat was a plus!! Should probably mention the eagles in the area and supply binoculars…. What a nice surprise as we were kayaking to see an eagle flying and to be able to watch them as we sat on the deck …., Was the cutest cottage…, clean and beds were very comfortable …, though was outside most of the time…. with perfect weather and no issues with mosquitoes or flies…. I can’t say enough about this place…, the bestie and I went and felt perfectly safe.., had the best time ever and can’t wait to be back…. Thanks for everything!!! Super pet friendly…., my friends Goldendoodle had a great time!!!!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. We loved the spacious backyard for my granddaughters to run around in. It was great having the dock in the back with the water being shallow around it because my granddaughters were able to splash around and play like they had their very own beach. We cooked each night and had everything we needed to make meals both inside and outside on the grill. It was great being able to have two levels and two kitchens so the adults could sleep in while the kids ran around downstairs at 6:30 in the morning. LOL Monticello wasn't too far away and Indiana Beach was close as well. You for a very friendly and responsive host! Thank you again for the use of your beautiful place!

Kelly is a great host and this place was everything one could expect and more. The house was very clean and the view of the river was spectacular. Kelly even had snacks set out and a basket of smore fixings to do over the fire. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms we're perfect for us six adults to where we each had our own space. Kelly and her team were very responsive when we had a power outage from a major storm. Since the water pressure is low, people need to take turns showering, which was something we could work around. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience.

Overall great experience. House is quite dated but as a friend said it’s a blast from the past and kinda grandma chic if you are into that kind of thing. Only issues we encountered were a lack of descent coffee mugs, a broken burner on the stovetop, and know the house is served by well water which had a strong smell and taste but they did have a filter/RO system installed in the kitchen. Communication with host was excellent and request for late checkout granted which was much appreciated. Hope to stay here again.

Phillip’s Lake House was beautiful offering a great view and access to the lake! There was an easy and simple boat rental place just down the road that made for our trip awesome! Phillip was very responsive to any questions that arose and was very awesome to work with! The place had everything we needed with lots of space and towels for everyone!

We had the pleasure of staying at Kevin's house in July and it was great! The top deck has amazing furniture to sit on, do some bird watching and just hang out.The waterfall is very relaxing to hear up there and down by the firepit. Great location close to town and everything.

A fantastic home and location! Lovely and peaceful while also feeling central to amenities. The home felt up to date and provided ample space for our family. The thoughtfulness of the hosts was apparent. We felt cared for and would absolutely stay again.

We loved everything about the stay! Venetia is an amazing host that went above and beyond to provide amenities to enhance our experience. She is a great communicator and had easy to follow instructions for everything! We for sure would recommend!
