Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lake Champlain

Where do I start...from before I arrived, up until my departure...Joanne was attentive in every way possible. All my questions were answered with an immediate response. The home was extraordinary. The effort Joanne has put in to making it just like home shows. With an abundance of whimsical touches. Up until the day I left, I would see a new thing. As if the enchanting home wasn't enough, the back patio is a place of serenity...with the sounds and view of the river extraordinary. I could go on and on, but I will just say, "it was the best vacation I have ever had". One word describes this Airbnb...AMAZING!!!🩷. I will return next year! Homey open concept home where you van listen to the river while you take a dip in the cedar hot tub. I also enjoyed the deep soaking tub, closeness to the Von Trappe Famiky Lodge, and the milk brother for my morning coffee.

My husband and I had an amazing time. The sauna was amazing and we took a lovely canoe ride. As we melted our stress away in your beautiful home.

Book this place immediately if you’re looking for a relaxing family stay, situated minutes from gorgeous beaches with swimming lakes and want to spend evenings bbqing and looking at the incredible view. Nicholas’s place was great, about 15 minutes from Jay. The house was very clean and everything was well explained. We had a great time and would love to come back!

Lovely home in a lovely setting. The view is breathtaking and Barbara has outfitted the space woth everything you could possibly need. She is extremely thoughtful and personable. The area is great for hiking and outdoor activities but is also near Middlebury College and Burlington.

We LOVED our stay here! The lake is so peaceful and the house has the perfect view. Andrew was very helpful and accommodating and we would highly recommend staying here!

Such a beautiful space and views. Very cozy and welcoming. Kitchen was amazing for such an intimate space, we were able to make several meals and weren’t missing a thing. Loved having the TV in the lower level so it was fun at night but not distracting during the day. Not a ton of amenities in town, so make sure to pack snacks and food for your trip. Will definitely come again.

This was our second stay in the Carriage House - it’s our favorite place in Burlington! It’s modern, super clean, well appointed, with a superior host, and a view of the Lake.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Car GPS had trouble finding address, but with help from Google maps we got there. -loved the secluded location and awesome views of lake Champlain. thanks again!

This was my second stay, and once again it was absolutely perfect. The host is incredibly kind and helpful—he goes above and beyond to make sure everything is just right. The property itself is straight out of a dream... right on the lake, peaceful, and beautifully kept. I’ve stayed at a lot of places, but this one feels like home—and honestly, it's my dream home. Can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, top-notch getaway.

Loved staying here! The place was super clean and the views of downtown were amazing. It’s in a great spot — I could walk to pretty much everything I needed. My husband and I only stayed 2 nights at Carson's apartment, but it was exactly as described, very clean and looked like the pictures posted. Beautifully decorated and had everything you could need in the cute little kitchen. The bed was comfortable and there were even extra chargers in the bedroom. The mini split heat in the apartment was nice, as it was raining and cold our first night. The location is ideal - quiet neighborhood but short drive to downtown.

We loved the cozy Airbnb!! Very close to attractions and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay!

My daughter and I had such a nice stay here! The room was beautiful, a d pieceful. It was very close to the Shelburn museum. The trail right behind the house was delightful, we had a nice morning walk. We would love to visit here again!

I had a wonderful stay in this lovely apartment. It was very clean, fully equipped, and everything was in excellent condition. The location is also great — there are plenty of fantastic cafés and restaurants nearby, and it’s just a short distance to downtown and the old city. The beds were very comfortable, and the entire space felt cozy and welcoming. Everything was just perfect!

Cute little place that was a perfect location for our visit to Stowe. Walkable restaurants and stores and even the places we had to drive weren’t far either. The place was very clean and perfect for our group. Would definitely come again!

Everything was perfect! Very clean! The host really cares about our comfort. He immediately offered to turn on the heat pump even though we hadn't even complained about the heat! It's possible to cross the bridge to Vieux-Saint-Jean on foot where there are a variety of restaurants and activities to do. I highly recommend it!

The condo was excelent. Plenty of space, clean, and well organized. The condo has lots of dishes, pots, pans, cups which made it easy to cook. The grill was in good condition and located perfectly on the balcony. Josh was very responsive and flexible. He gave very clear instructions and the expectations for checkout were very reasonable and easy to complete. Great place to book if you are bringing children and pets! Plenty of yard space for them to play. The location is a close to drive stowe for skiing and to ben and jerrys factory for a fun family acitivty. I highly recommend this location!!

Great stay! Would definitely like to stay here again. Hosts were great at being in touch and at nice details such as fresh flowers and cinnamon rolls. Comfortable beds and living room. Excellent neighborhood. Do need a car to get to restaurants and stores. All around great rental.

Fantastic place to stay just north of Burlington! Colchester was beautiful and this condo is so close to the bike paths and causeway. Beautiful spot!
