Lake house holiday rentals in Lake Atitlán

What a great stay! Nelson made sure we had everything we needed, every question was answered and resolved. We loved all the great amenities of the house and felt right at home. This place was just as described! This place was so peaceful and calm, it was perfect to get away from the busy towns nearby. The only slight inconvenience was having to find a tuktuk to get to the nearby towns as they were not walking distance. We had to start walking until a tuktuk became available. Overall I would totally recommend this place!

Tuvimos unas vacaciones inolvidables en esta casa maravillosa. La propiedad es preciosa, con vistas increíbles y un jardín espectacular que invita al descanso y la desconexión total. Las camas son muy cómodas, lo que hizo que cada noche fuera perfecta después de días llenos de tranquilidad y paisajes hermosos. Aunque el acceso a la propiedad no es el más sencillo, para nuestra familia fue toda una aventura que valió completamente la pena. Al llegar, te encuentras con un verdadero paraíso. Además, el equipo de Eliza y Vicky estuvo siempre con la mejor disposición para ayudarnos con todo, lo que hizo que la llegada y la instalación fueran mucho más fáciles. Pudimos disfrutar del lago y de la propiedad donde tuvimos la oportunidad de reconectar como familia, compartir momentos inolvidables y crear recuerdos que siempre llevaremos con nosotros. Queremos agradecer especialmente a Vicky y Pedro quienes estuvieron pendientes en todo momento. Volveremos pronto!!

Perhaps one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. 10/10 would recommend - by far one of the most beautiful spots in all of Lake Atitlan. Thank you!!

Our three night stay at the Glass House was fabulous...beyond words really. It is now our favorite Airbnb in the world! I intentionally chose our stay during April's full moon which created an even more magical experience at the Glass House. We actually had no idea that the view would be so amazing - gazing over Lake Atitlan with views of 3 volcanoes perfectly in the middle of our gaze. The space was absolutely perfect. Accommodations stylish and modern, with amazing interiors and furniture designed by the owners. Loved the fact that the location is so unique and private. One must travel by boat to the property's private dock to access the house. Venturing out to other lakeside pueblos is a quick and inexpensive boat ride away - where a boat taxi can pick you at the dock...you just have to wave a flag for them to come get you. We enjoyed preparing meals in the amazing kitchen overlooking the Lago. So impressive! I could go on and on. If you are lucky to stay here- do not hesitate!

La mejor experiencia de hospedaje frente al agua disponible en Lago Atitlán. El diseño y amueblado de la casa son exquisitos. Nos atendió personal muy amable y atento en el lugar. Ana Regina siempre estuvo pendiente de nosotros.

This Airbnb was absolutely amazing! The location is perfect, with easy access to everything including the town center and dock. Our property managers Chris and Kris were incredibly helpful and responsive, which made the stay even better. We arrived at 12:30 and Chris welcomed us and gave us a tour even before our check in time. There are also tons of on-site activities available (for an extra cost), which added so much value to our trip. If you're visiting San Marcos, this is the place to stay. Everything was great, although the bathroom was a little smaller than desired and the shower space was not well designed.

Absolutely amazing property! The walk from the gate to the house was a beautiful surprise. The third floors had AMAZING views of the lake and mountains. Waking up to the sounds of the birds was a dream. PJ was very understanding to our situation and offered a playpen for the babies. The stay was wonderful. Thank you so much!

Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and private place in Santa Cruz. The view is stunning, the house is breezy and full of natural light, and the garden is an oasis. We worked remotely from the loft above with a view of the lake, and the windows letting in the breeze… the Starlink internet was seamless. Town/dock was 5-10 min walk from the house, and town/ATM was a short tuk tuk ride up the hill. Miguel was extremely helpful, always readily available, communicative and with a great attitude. He met us at the dock in Panajachel with a pre booked private transport and helped bring our bags up to the house. We also booked the private chef experience with Manuela and she was amazing… so sweet, punctual, and made us healthy, tasty lunches to enjoy while we worked. She even made us a refreshing drink with a cucumber from her garden, and set the table for us outside to we could eat while enjoying the nice weather. We learned a lot from chatting with her! Lovely people & stay!

Where can I start! I’ve have travel to over 18 countries and let me just say this has to be one of the best properties I ever stayed in. The staff is really friendly attentive! Since the moment I arrived at the lake I was very impressed but once I got to the airbnb I was left speechless. Once I arrived Miguel was outside waiting for me to take my bags. He gave me all the information I needed the house and the pueblito including a tuk tuk driver which was amazing and every time I wrote him he would pick us up in no time. Now, the house… where can I begin ? This property is definitely one of my favorite ones I stayed in. The house looks super modern yet it goes with the vibe of the lake. All the windows that it has made it even more magical. Seeing the volcanoe from my bed at night and morning is something I will never forget. The sound of the nature in the morning was one of my favorite parts. Overall I highly recommend this property to anyone interested is totally worth it.

Un lugar increíble, precioso, nos sentimos muy a gusto con mi familia y mascota, la tranquilidad es perfecta para descansar, el lugar limpio y con detalles que te hacen la estadía más amena como tener café y agua potable disponible. Definitivamente regresaríamos con mi familia.

The little house worked perfect for our weekend. It was simple. Quiet. Easy access to kayaks and the lake. There is not a view of the lake from the house, but we enjoyed the front porch and garden to okay games and relax. It was so quiet!

Came with a group of 5 Freinds … the grounds are beautiful and well kept. Bbq area, pool, hammocks, very serene and the pier is close by … there are lots of stairs so be aware with luggage and walking. We had Claudia and her mother cook two nights for us and the food was amazing… I would have a list of items you will require so they get them for you since there isn’t a store nearby. You are definitely pretty remote. Boat is the easiest way to get around. I’d come back again and explore the other villages/towns nearby. San Juan was fun with lots of shops and coffee and chocolate factories

Nos sentimos como en casa, un lugar precioso, tranquilo , privado . Nos encantó la casita la recomiendo al 100% el anfitrión muy atento , Edgar el guardián muy amable . Reciben alojar a nuestros peludos pero definitivamente es de llevar mascotas pequeñas porque la casita es tan linda llena de flores que no es apropiada para perros grandes , el nuestro es un pastor alemán y fuimos muy cuidadosos con el jardín pero siempre nos preocupamos de no dañará. Pero la recomendamos sin duda , gracias y esperamos volver pronto !!!

La casa está muy bonita y tenía todo lo que podíamos necesitar. La entrada en carro está un poco angosta, pero manejable. En nuestro caso no fue self check in, pero Emilio nos abrió el portón rápido y nos dió algunas explicaciones de la casa, como lo de las llaves, que abrir y cerrar la puerta tiene su chiste. En general muy bien todo y muy bonito.

La casa es muy acogedora, rodeada de naturaleza y cercana al muelle principal de Santa Catarina con vista a los 3 volcanes. La cocina está muy bien equipada, al igual que las habitaciones. Excelente atención y amabilidad por parte de Juan, quien nos recibió, llevó nuestras maletas y nos brindó muy buenas recomendaciones.

Christian and his family were great hosts who welcomed us to their place. I had the pleasure of staying here for three nights, and I couldn't have asked for a warmer, more welcoming experience. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel completely at home. My kid enjoyed spending time with their children, from playing games to hanging out at the terrace. The home was clean, cozy, and full of positive energy. It had a fully equipped kitchen, cozy bedrooms, functional bathroom and we felt safe the entire time. Christian gave us a tour of the place and provided suggestions on nearby attractions and restaurants. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a stay that feels more like visiting family than just booking a place! :)

I stayed in the guacamole cabin for 2 weeks it was very private and quiet back yard with a nice sitting area surrounded by greenery. next door is the training area for yoga ,martial arts and many other activities I took part in the hatha yoga classes which were awesome way to start the day the lake is a 4 minute walk ,spent most of my time on the water kayaking and swimming. it's just a paradise. Johnathan has created a community of teachers and students to enrich your soul .we had 2 potluck dinners wich was a good way to meet the other guests. yea I love that place and it's people. thanks Johnathan, I'll be back next year .

Fue mejor de lo que nos esperábamos, sinceramente la casa es increíble, sus vistas y la atención de las personas que nos atendieron fue excelente. Sin duda alguna volveré a visitar este lugar
