Holiday rentals with a kayak in Lake Almanor

John was an excellent host. He was attentive to our needs and a very active communicator, which was great. The home was very spacious to fit a large group. The location is wonderful—quiet and in a nice, safe neighborhood. I'm looking forward to coming back.

Simply put, this place is a slice of heaven on earth! The only thing we regret is only booking it for 3 nights! 😂 It is clear from the moment you walk in that so much thought and care has been put into making sure all who stay there feel like they are at home. It has everything you could possible think of and then some. Between the game room, board games, books, huge living room for movie nights, several outdoor gathering places, fire pit for s'mores and so much more - it is such a cozy, inviting, relaxing, tranquil space that we rarely left the house. Thank you Dorinda and family for offering this lovely home for all to experience, it is truly a treasured space that we will not soon forget! We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

We had a good experience staying at this cabin near Lake Almanor. It was peaceful, well-kept, and conveniently located for visiting Lassen Volcanic National Park. A great spot for a quiet, nature-filled weekend.

My best friend, daughter, and I all stayed in this lovely Lake Almanor home. My teenaged daughter loved having the downstairs area to herself. The home had everything we needed to cook ourselves a few dinners. The picture window is even more amazing than it looks on the listing. Matthew was very responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Randi I can’t tell you how much we enjoyed staying at your place near the lake. We can for a family reunion. We made so many memories together that we will treasure forever. Thank you for opening your home to us. It is now our “Happy Place” too. We loved hanging out on the front porch, cooking together in the kitchen and playing games with our favorite people.

Great house. Great location next to the golf course, which we played twice. Great host.

This was the perfect place for our whole family. I appreciated the kid toys and table settings. The bunk room was perfect for the kids. The beds were comfortable and the living area a nice and open. The kitchen had all the things you would need. We had a great time playing in the snow and then warming up by the fire.

This cabin is amazing! Everything you could need for your stay is available in this well organized, gorgeous cabin. Being able to use the games, beach towels, kayak, and paddle board was a huge plus! Check in and check out was easy and communication was perfect, always available and ready to help and answer any questions. I highly recommend this location.

This cozy cabin was exactly what we were looking for. It had all the amenities we needed to be able to rest and relax after long days of adventuring with family. Would definitely recommend. Hosts were great!

For a large family or a bunch of friends with thier boats this is a must stay. House is stocked with every thing you need. Beds are super comfortable and there's plenty of parking. It's located close to the restaurants and golf course.

This was our second stay at the cabin. It was even better than the first time! The house was incredibly clean and well stocked when we arrived. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking meals. High-end appliances and cutlery, plates, glasses, etc. You may want to bring some spices and cooking oil. The best part of the house is the deck! It’s huge with two tables and plenty of comfortable chairs and a large grill. The dock is perfect for swimming or fishing. We launched our boat from the free launch at Canyon Damn and kept the boat at the dock at the house. Th house has phenomenal views of Mt. Lassen. One of the days was too windy to be on the lake so we just hung out in the house and watched the clouds and the lake. Raul is very responsive and an excellent host. I highly recommend this house for a true lake experience.

Excellent stay in Westwood. The house was right on the lake with a dock. There was a large deck and very relaxing. The beds were all very comfortable and they provided wood and the fireplace was very cozy. We would love to come back again soon. During our 2nd day, we drove to Lassen National Park and went on a really nice hike. Lots of great restaurants were close by. Thanks.
