Holiday rentals with beach access in Lagos

An amazing stay! So sad to leave! The stylish, homey flat was perfect, peaceful yet close to everything. Ideal for couples: hikes to quiet beaches with stunning blue water, and thoughtful extras like beach towels, bags, bats for the beach, and even a parasol! The flat had everything, check the cupboards before buying anything. We recommend hiring a car, parking’s easy and visiting AEZA to walk rescue dogs (message them on socials FB a few days ahead), the Sagres fortress, then lunch at Fermento food&wine. Our fave food spots in Burgau: SUL (breakfast & romantic dinners), Miam (ceviche, mussels, caipirinhas!), Barraca (shrimp starter and octopus salad), and Corso (coffee & pizza). Lagos is more touristy, but Restaurante dos Artistas was a proper romantic dinner treat. This trip was the perfect mix of rest and adventure away from crowds. The beach was never too busy, and the breeze meant you didn’t always need the parasol. The host thought of every detail. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

Loved our stay at Claudia’s apartment. The area was super clean and exactly as seen in the photos. The area is in a great location right at the centre of all the action but up a very clam side street meaning we had no noise issues at night. Would highly recommended this apartment. We also organised a transfer through Claudia which was so handy!

Amazing place to stay. Our child felt at home here and loved it. The terrace is perfect. Great spot. Easy to find. Parking close by. Nice spots to walk. Great check in. Pedro have great instructions for arrival and was great at communicating if needed! Had great sleep at night you don’t hear any sounds outside! Also place is in between two great spots if you visit sagres and portimao 👍

Excellent and thoughtful accommodations! All details have been carefully considered for an enjoyable stay, including sand toys for kids to have fun at the beach. Would recommend this as an excellent place to stay!

Really enjoyed our stay in Lagos. Alex's place was great. Comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed.

We spent 5 nights in Mariana's cottage and felt very comfortable there. A small oasis of tranquility. We were able to make good use of the outdoor lighting, especially the pool. There were enough different areas. The private terrace on the first floor was wonderful and private. We only used the kitchen for breakfast, as there are plenty of restaurants nearby. We would come back.

We had a fantastic stay! The host was incredibly responsive and friendly—always quick to reply and genuinely helpful with local tips. The location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to see and do. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Highly recommend staying here!

Eva’s place was very beautiful and comfortable! The view down the street was amazing. It was very walkable to the main town centre and the beaches. Eva was very friendly and welcoming when we visited her atelier. Highly recommend!

I HIGHLY recommend this place! It was the perfect location for exploring Lagos- close walking to many restaurants, shops, and the beach! The home is immaculate and has everything you could need for a nice stay. The hosts went above and beyond from the very start- truly a gem of a place. You won’t go wrong staying here.

Wonderful, peaceful and quiet two-story apartment 1 minute away from Old Town and 15 minute walk away from the closest beach and marina for tourist activities, 10 minutes to bus- perfect location! They even had beach towels and an umbrellas to take to the beach. The second floor deck was spacious and quiet.

Wish we could have stayed for a month! Claudia was wonderful! What a little gem she has! Perfectly decorated, everything we needed, clean, comfortable, it was a perfect stay!

The place was lovely, clean and in the heart of old town Lagos. Perfect location. All the recommendations provided by Gerry were spot on - from the food to the beaches. The highlight of our stay at the beach house was when we were able to sit on the rooftop and watch the fireworks celebrating Portugal day. Our host was extremely responsive and friendly. Spent a week at vanessa’s apartment. We absolutely loved it! It was so spacious and clean and literally had everything you could need. Vanessa checked us in and showed us around, she was so friendly and helpful with lots of recommendations. It was about a 20 min walk and less than a 5 minute uber from the old town. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend😃

The location was amazing for walking to the beach, having alfresco meals, and Emmanuelle was a wonderful host! So pleased and was a perfect start to our Portugal holiday!

Great friendly hosts who really made sure that we felt at home. Location is perfect - right by the beach. Easy drive to nearby grocery store and town centre. Home was very spacious and had a beautiful window. Enjoyed the stay.

Ben’s apartment was a short walk to the beach, multiple restaurants, and food market. It is in the quiet beach town of Luz 15 minutes from Lagos with lots of hiking and biking trails. I would definitely recommend this for other travelers.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kasia's place. Kasia was extremely helpful with providing us with invaluable information regarding things to do and places to go whilst in Lagos. We would definitely stay there again.

The Pros: Fantastic central location, excellent air conditioning, and the balconies were a highlight; the one off the living room offers a beautiful view of the sunrise. The unit was spotless, clearly professionally cleaned, spacious, and beautifully designed. It exceeded our expectations and had nearly every amenity imaginable. Concerns from past reviews seem resolved: the sliding glass doors worked perfectly, and I saw no mold in the bathroom. The Cons: Check-in is not contactless—the property manager meets you in person, which can be tricky to coordinate if you're arriving from abroad. There's only one set of physical keys, which made it a bit inconvenient for my mom and I because we couldn't do separate activities throughout the day without needing to first coordinate the key situation.

The place was perfect for two people. If you like beaches, the location is perfect! Very nice welcome from the host.

Rosa’s place was great and exactly as described. Very short distance to beach and town (~15 min). She had recommendations which we appreciated. Check-in was easy. The place was as described and Rosa was super communicative. We encountered some issues after checkin and Rosa handled them immediately, which was so appreciated!!
