This villa is incredible and they have done a great job with making sure the villa was in great shape considering there was just a major weather storm. Overall I would recommend this villa to anyone it has no faults at all it’s just amazing 🤩

We really enjoyed our stay here, it’s peaceful and private with everything you could need. Plenty of places to go and see, local supermarkets which is very handy. Loved it so much we’ve already booked to return in the next school holidays ☀️🕶️🍹

We had an amazing stay in Matthijs's house in Carvoeiro. The house was beautiful, exactly as described in the photos. It had everything you could need for a holiday with kids, plenty of towels for everyone and all the amenties (dishwahse, washing machine etc.) There were some lovely touches when we checked in, like crisps and abottle of wine left for us, which was much appreciated. Yannick and his team were also really flexible with the check in, we arrived at the house at 2pm, and although the standard check in wasn't until 4pm, they allowed us to check in early as the house was ready. I would really recommend paying to heat the pool also, this really made our trip as we could literally use the pool any time of day, it was brilliant! The main this we were looking for as we had 2 babies and a child in our group was somewhere within walking distance of the town, this was about 15 mins walk to the beach and the restaurants, with just a slight hill on the way back up. This place is truly a hidden gem. Karin and Kees have created a beautiful little oasis in the middle of the Algarve – peaceful, relaxing, and surrounded by nature. The Casa Verde is very well-equipped with everything you might need, and the shared garden and pool area are absolutely fantastic. The location is a bit remote, so having a car is definitely recommended. But that’s also part of the charm – you get to enjoy the tranquility away from the tourist crowds. If I had to mention one downside, it would be that inside the casa it is a bit dark. However, with such a beautiful outdoor space and surroundings, you’ll hardly want to stay indoors anyway. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the Algarve in a more peaceful setting!

We absolutely loved our stay at Floris's villa! It was our first time travelling with our son who was 11 months and it couldnt have been more perfect. The pool is completely gated off whilst also feeling like its still part of the house. There was a baby bath and even a stroller provided as well as lots of toys. The bedrooms had blackout shutters which kept it very cool inside and everything was very clean and comfy. We loved using the bbq for our dinners and the garden got the sun from first thing in the morning until late in the evening. The town is walking distance which was ideal for morning walks and popping in for drinks or meals. During our stay, our son needed to see a doctor. Even though it was a Sunday evening, when I rang Floris they immediately put us in touch with an out of hours doctor who did house calls and came round within 20 minutes. We couldnt be more grateful for this service and Floris's help. Definitely want to stay again! Thank you!

Great stay with my family at this Airbnb. The cottage is exceptional, in a delicious natural environment. Very nice villa as described, the place is very nice to come with family because there is space everywhere. We loved the interior as much as the exteriors with the lounge area and the pool. We had a beautiful week, enjoying a very spacious and functional space. A place particularly suitable for family reunions (we were 7 people), in the middle of extremely varied activities and hikes. Maguy is responsive and very friendly. The place was unanimous and delighted everyone. For sure, we recommend choosing this place for a nice stay. Monique

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The owner was responsive and helpful throughout, making everything easy. The house and grounds are kept very clean and are exactly as stated in the listing. The outside area was beautiful, with a large patio and seating area. The pool was clean and heated before our arrival. The garden was beautiful, and we loved being able to pick and enjoy fresh oranges straight from the trees. A couple of things to note for future guests: the driveway down to the house is quite steep and can be a bit tricky to navigate by car. Fortunately, there is parking available on the street, in front of the house. Also, the house wasn’t stocked with shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, or paper towels, so be sure to bring your own essentials. There is a washer and dryer at the house, but the host typically has his cleaning staff take care of your laundry. Overall, a convenient, peaceful spot with great attention to detail and a very responsive host. Highly recommend!

By car perfect, parking at the house or only a few meters away, apartment in a small village with older, very friendly neighbors, supermarkets and restaurants easily accessible by car, apartment super equipped, there was nothing missing. It was perfect for us. We would come back anytime. A big thank you to the landlord, the communication was great.

Wonderful place. Spacious apartment with a terrace overlooking the sunset. Everything you needed was inside. There are better beaches nearby. Daniella is a wonderful host, very helpful. The family was exited.

From the moment we arrived to when we left we felt at home. Hans went to great lengths to make sure we were provided with local recommendations and information to settle us in to our holiday. The accommodation was perfect for us. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool and we had many a lovely evenings on the terrace. A perfect location for all to enjoy. Thank you for having us! We absolutely loved our stay at this house. It was our favorite airbnb during our Portugal trip. There was plenty of space for everyone and the house was spacious and very tastefully decorated and very clean. The kitchen was so well equipped and the outdoor space was perfection. Our entire group had a fantastic time and we would love to come and stay here again. The hosts were very gracious, generous and responsive. Truly a 10/10 experience for us.

Everything was perfect but the location is very quiet (good at night) but for visits, tourism etc there is not much to do. The house is beautiful .

Perfect place in the most beautiful setting! Peaceful and quiet yet only a short drive from locals towns with loads to do! We had everything we needed, the apartment is very well equipped (so grateful for the cot and high chair!) and spotlessly clean! Thank you to everyone involved :) we had a brilliant stay!

Our expectations were surpassed! The accommodation is perfect for a break and relaxation. (Also for the children). The children were in the pool a lot and there was plenty of room to let off steam on the large property. The surrounding beaches are also very beautiful and quickly accessible. Highly recommended as a starting point to explore the Algarve. We had a very nice stay and can highly recommend the accommodation!

Sonia’s home was a lovely stay, the home and garden were well maintained and we thoroughly enjoyed being there. The area is nice and rural, and the local town was only a short work away, while other towns and attractions were only a short drive away. Would recommend coming here and would happily come back ⭐️

Beautiful place, just a few minutes from one of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal. Our host was very responsive! Place was very clean and the pool was a great feature on those hot days!

Spacious, bright and comfortable home. In fact, it looks better than the photos (and it's often the opposite ;-) A very kind and communicative host.

Pedro and Sofia were very helpful and responsive, proactively offering all kinds of advice for things to do and how to get around (as we did not have a car). The surroundings are idyllic and the house itself has a really interesting layout. Our party of 7 felt quite comfortable there.

We loved the location! If you rent a car it is very easy to explore the Algarve coast. The coastal town of Carvoeiro is 5 minutes away, this was one of our highlights; it is such a beautiful, local Portuguese beach town with stunning views of the cliffs. Another highlight was Silves. The host was very cordial and extremely keen to help with anything we needed. The house is lovely, with a welcoming, cosy feel. The bathroom is a little tight, however it is brand new and spotless. It was a perfect place for a family with a child like ourselves. The sofa bed is really easy to prepare. Note, the loft bedroom has no door, and the AC is on the bedroom level only. The pool is still closed before the summer, but the views from the pool are beautiful. We definitely plan to return next spring. Thank you so much Miguel for hosting us!
