Olaf, Your place was amazing, the scenery was breathtaking — but your kindness, and hospitality were second to none. Really a fantastic location if you’re wanting to vacation in Flåm. We took the train from Flåm to Myrdal Norway - Zip line to bikes - and then biking to Flam. We had lunch at the restaurant on the water in Undredal. Unbelievably beautiful. Thank you Olaf, you helped make our trip truly special!!

We loved staying at this charming house. The house is right on the water and placed in a small town with a little grocery store and delicious restaurant (have to try the brown cheese). We were also a drive away from many of the neighboring cities, with a lot of goat sightings on the drive in. Cannot recommend this place more!

We had a great stay for 5 people in this very nice, comfortable and very clean accommodation, perfectly in line with the photos. Very quiet... very peaceful setting and possible magnificent hikes. Very nice discovery. Very responsive host.

The house was perfect, very spacious, beautiful views, the host was very nice and friendly. The sounds of the river are very peaceful there. Excellent location minutes to the Flåm tourist/activity station. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

We enjoyed the house very much. It is very large and lovingly decorated and very well equipped. The seats on the terrace are also very nice, as is the view of the fjord. You can reach Sogndal in a few minutes by car, where there are many shopping opportunities. Tom and Kari are wonderful hosts. We would definitely book the house again.

The house is in a great location, a quite a walkable neigborhood with multiple grocery stores easily reached on foot. The place itself is a very comfortable house with everything you could need, including a kitchen with all tools required for cooking whatever you want. The host was very friendly and responded quickly to any question we had. 10/10

Caroline historic house is a gem ! Located in a beautiful little historic village. Great interior with nice mix of antique and modern. Brand new kitchen, bathroom. And Caroline helps out with great advice on all you can do the area.

We enjoyed our stay in Kaupenger with my family. My dad said that this house reminded him of the old house of his parents in the wood when he was a kid. It’s old school and that makes it charming With the fire to heat up the living room (you have heater electric in the bedroom as well). It’s all in wood. The bed were comfortable. The view is the best part it’s stunning morning or evening even with bad weather. The kitchen is good as well you can cook The bathroom is a bit small for 5 people as it’s only a small shower. Marie Mette also offered us keys to kayak but we didn’t had the chance to use them but it could be a real plus if you have good weather. If you like a bit rustic, in nature, close to Flam and close to many activities and Fjord it’s a good spot to be. If you want more modern house it wouldn’t be your taste. Also we tried the internet and it work Marie is a very responsive host so I recommend her as well it was very smooth.

The cabin was very comfortable and well appointed. Ingrid was really helpful and we had a lovely stay.

A very pleasant stay at Ivar's place. The view is beautiful and the place is very pleasant. Ivar was very accommodating and available. We would recommend it without hesitation.

Easy to find. Good car parking. 5 min walk to town/waterfront. Very friendly host. Quick to respond. Would stay again.

clean, quiet and good service

The apartment was great, totally our taste. Decorated with eye for detail. We also walked the 1.5 km up the hill at the back of the apartment. We enjoyed our stay and when we need to be in the area again for sure we will look if still available. regards Antoon

Geir's apartment was the best we've had on our trip through Norway. The view of Kaupanger is simply fantastic. We were greeted directly with a rainbow😉. The apartment is relatively large, very tasteful and everything has really been thought of. In addition, it makes a very new impression in every respect. The folder that Geir had laid out contained all the important information. Unfortunately, we could not use the excursion tips enough, because the weather was not so good and we were only there for 2 days. Therefore, we would love to come back again and can definitely recommend the apartment.

This is a wonderful apartment with stunning views of the mountains and fjord. The location is excellent, right in town, close to amenities, yet very quiet. Kai was promptly responsive when we had a few questions and gave clear instructions. This was definitely one of our favorite places in the world to stay!

Amazing place, perfect base

We loved Trude's place. The view is stunning we took pictures every morning of our stay because it was irresistible. Grocery right next door and 15mins drive to Flam. Trude always responsive to our questions. Highly recommend booking Trude's place.

We really enjoyed Armando's place. In particular, the great view of the fjord, which you also had in the morning from the bedroom, impressed us very much. It is very quiet and ideally accessible by car. We also found the separate TV room very comfortable in the evening. Thank you for everything.

It was a cozy and lovely accommodation! It was very close to the city center, so I was able to conveniently use all the supermarkets, cafes, and shops. It is a place where everything, from the lighting in the house to the furniture and the pictures in the frames, is in perfect harmony. The host's friendly response made all of this perfect. :)

We had some trouble getting into the property because we didn't have the code at check-in. The accommodation was clean and well-equipped, especially suitable for two people. The noise from the main road is noticeable inside, but not likely to disturb sleep, after a busy day...

We had a great time in the cabin, the host was very good . I would go there again and would reccomend it.
