Beachfront holiday rentals in Ladram Bay

We've just had a wonderful stay at the bungalow, which is set in a beautiful, quiet location with a private garden behind the owners house. The bungalow is well equipped with everything you need and Louise and Ian are excellent, responsive hosts (thanks for the scones). Beer and Seaton are both within easy walking distance, about 15 mins, on the coastal path. We did a great walk from the door passing through Beer to Branscombe, which has a fantastic pub called the Mason's Arms, and a working mill and a forge. All worth a visit. We then walked back along the cliff which offers some amazing views. The walk was about 10 miles in total with some steps and steep climbs, so you will need to be reasonably fit. We also visited Lyme Regis and Charmouth which is a brilliant location for fossil hunting. It really is a beautiful area which is well worth a visit.

We had the best weekend staying in Amanada’s house celebrating a birthday it was beautiful. The house is even more beautiful than in the photos & my 2 year old loved looking out to sea every morning seeing the birds. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you so much ☺️ one bonus for families thinking of booking that I did not see prior to our stay is the stairgate at the top of the stairs to the kitchen it was perfect with 2 young children we could shut this off.

Wonderful location and comfortable, well designed home. A little village out on its own with so much character and some great walks which are medium hard but good distances either way - to the left in the next village the Cricket Inn is delicious food and friendly staff - to the right a lighthouse. The views and beach really make this place… as well as being a close drive to Salcombe and Dartmouth. The house being is well stocked, stylish and comfortable so makes for easy living. We were a family of 7 and a dog and would highly recommend it. We did a Sainsbury’s food delivery to the house twice to make getting groceries easy and that worked perfectly too.

We just had such a wonderful week-long stay here!! I highly recommend the house for families visiting Lyme Regis. It’s a perfect size and location for a family holiday - we were three couples and our 4 month old baby, and we had everything we needed. Chris is a fabulous host; really responsive and he provided very clear instructions on finding and accessing the house. A bottle of local wine and biscuits were there for us when we arrived which was such a lovely touch! All three bedrooms are large, perfect for either couples or children sharing. The kitchen is big and bright with a lovely glass roof, its ideal for cooking big family meals. The sea views at the top of the garden are to die for, and it’s a beautiful spot for sundowners and a bbq! The house is in a great location as it’s a very short walk to the seafront and all the bars and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay so much and look forward to coming back again!

Stay Salty was excelent, central location and very close to a car park. Dog friendly and a beach just round the corner within easy walking distance. a couple of 100 yds. As bad weather was expected on one day Matt offered to supply extra dog towels if needed, totally unexpected but shows the level of service. Teignmouth was good and within easy reach of larger town if the need was there. Would recommend it to anyone who fancied the area along the glourous South Devon Coast.

Wow, what a stunning location. It's every bit as beautiful as in the photos. We watched glorious sunsets from the terrace and enjoyed walks on the beach. I enjoyed looking around the immaculately kept gardens and could have watched the colourful koi in the pond for hours, plus the two cute horses in the field. Andrew's directions to the house are spot-on, please don't trust your satnav or you risk being taken down some very narrow lanes with grass growing in the middle and no passing places. Ask me how I know. There is no mobile reception at the house, as you would expect given the location, but the wifi is very good. Beds and bedding super comfortable.

We had a wonderful week staying at The Courtyard, beautifully furnished and extremely well equipped. Very comfortable upstairs lounge with two balconies to make the most of the views. Plus a lovely courtyard filled with gorgeous greenery making it feel very tropical (and lots inside too). The bed is probably the most comfortable we have slept in! Stoke Fleming is a lovely village with access to the SW coastal path in both directions – the walk to Dartmouth is a must (and get the bus back!) Lots of places to visit in the surrounding area too. Jill’s communication is excellent and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the Courtyard 😊we most certainly hope to return!

A beautiful apartment! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how clean, stylish, and thoughtfully designed everything was. The space felt both cozy and luxurious, with tasteful decor, beautiful sea view, and all the amenities you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The location was also perfect and nice having the hotel next door. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. This place felt like a home away from home, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended! 4o iful apartment

The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is great for exploring the whole area. Helen was flexible with arrival and check in which made the holiday less stressful with small kids! Brixham is a lovely town to stay. The site would benefit from the new clubhouse pool & bar which was opening imminently, which we missed.

The host, Julie, was really helpful and responsive to our messages. Beautiful surroundings and the views from the chalet were incredible. We were visiting old friends and neighbours and it was an excellent base. The walk down into Shaldon along the golf course was convenient and stunning but be prepared for the walk back up!! The chalet had everything we needed and was really nicely decorated with comfy sofas and beds. Wish we were there longer and would love to go back.

We’ve just got back from a wonderful week at Nicki’s beautiful apartment. The views were incredible! Our boys loved watching the sea tractor going back and forth from Burgh Island, and letting us know when the tide was out and the Beach Barista was there! There was something incredibly magical looking out to Burgh Island, and we miss those views already! The apartment was beautifully presented and furnished to a very high standard. The whole set up is fantastic, and it was an added bonus to have dedicated use of the pool, gym and Deck restaurant. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous home with us. We’d love to return! Fantastic, clean and well-equipped caravan in a beautiful setting on a fantastic site. Hayley couldn’t have been more friendly, welcoming and responsive. Ladram Bay offers so much for a young family and our children loved the site, proximity to activities and the beach. Thank you Hayley and family for sharing your holiday home. location was absolutely perfect for a relax and a decent walk everyday, we paddle boarded up the coast both ways and the scenery was stunning and finished most days with a swim in the pool. if you're after a close too everything place too stay this isn't the place for you but if you're looking for a break away from the world then this will tick all your boxes 🤗

Wonderful - with a beautiful sea view that made it very special. Modern, clean and nicely decorated/equipped. We stayed as four women friends and it was perfect. The only thing I would say is that if you don’t know each other well or are physically large, the space is relatively small with only the one bathroom - which is clear from the listing - but worth bearing in mind.

We had a lovely stay at Anthony’s caravan. The location was ideal for visiting towns and sights in the local area. The site was also nice and quiet but had amenities if you needed them. Thanks for having us.

Clean and well maintained. Fabulous location, right on the esplanade. Excellent mattresses. West Bay itself; we were worried about the caravan park and that this can generate constant nagging from the kids about sweets, arcades and plastic tat, but there was none of this. It’s a little harbour (good crabbing), a beach and coastal walks with a few ice cream and food options. This week the beach generated very strong waves that were not suitable for younger children, my 11 and 14 yr olds loved it. “Rise” restaurant was superb.

York House, attached to the royal York hotel, is a stunning setting to either relax and unwind in Sidmouth or explore the Devonshire coast. We stayed over New year for a week, and what a break. So relaxing. The house was comfortable, homely and perfect for four adults and two children. you can hear noise from neighbouring places, which didn't bother us but on the first night did worry us as could hear footsteps. don't be alarmed it's just upstairs! Amenities both in the house and I'm local area are perfect. lovely bathrooms and showers. televisions smart with all streaming options could need! would definitely love to stay again and would recommend to everyone. Lastly, the view, undisturbed, perfect sea view, watching the sun rise and sun set, the sound of waves whilst drifting to sleep was idyllic!!

This was a fantastic stay, with a great host. Carol was very quick to respond to any queries and very helpful at every time. The property was perfect, and exactly as described. Walkable to the beach and village. Very excited to stay here again some time!

What can we say, from booking our stay, to leaving after an amazing week, we truly felt at home. Kam and Bens home is beautiful throughout, there wasn’t one thing that we thought we needed or wanted that wasn’t provided for. Kam met us on arrival, earlier than we expected, and showed us around her wonderful home, all instructions in a helpful guide in the kitchen, even tide times, for trips. Great advice for our trip to Lundy, she even sent us up to date weather forecast . Kam provided us with mobile numbers if we were stuck for anything, and ensured it was ok for Ben to check the hot-tub, when we were out. Lovely touches, such as robes for getting out of the tub, were much appreciated. Superb hosts, will definitely visit again, our daughter and her partner joined us for a few days and loved every minute, lovely walk to the beach, only 10mins away, and the most amazing sunsets from the lounge and bedroom . Perfect location! Amazing seaside views, really enjoyed watching the waves and people watching from the comfort of the sofa/bedroom. Kitchen well stocked and lovely touch of bread, milk, jam and biscuits for breakfast the next day. The sofa bed was really comfy for our two children, and plenty of space for our family of four. Super clear instructions to enter, and the parking permit was a huge plus! Really enjoyed our stay!

Fabulous apartment, extremely clean, spacious with quality fittings. Kitchen well stocked with everything you need. The location of the apartment is amazing, sea views to front and views of the nature reserve to the back. The balcony with seating was a great addition which we used every night to watch the sunset. We've stayed at quite a few places in South Devon and this was certainly the best and made for an amazing holiday. Private parking was an added bonus. Hope to be back.

Our stay in Bigbury was wonderful. Others have said that the house is a little dated which it is but when you have views and a location like that who cares. To be able to walk from the front door along the coast path is a treat. The Oyster Shack was pretty good but we thought the Journeys End in Ringmore was great. Apparently Sunday lunch is booked up four weeks ahead which tells you something....
