A warm welcome to Hidden Valley Homestay Stakmo. Hidden Valley Homestay is located in the Village of Stakmo and is around 40 minutes drive ( 21 Kilometers ) from the city of Leh. The Famous Thiksey Monastery is just 15 minutes drive from my home and a visit to Thiksey monastery morning prayers is a must while staying here. Shant Kuti - (A Residence of Peace) as the name suggests , is located at a height of 7800 feet in a quiet suburb of Dalhousie, called Upper Bakrota . It has an excellent view ( 180 degrees ) of Pir Panjal Ranges of Himalyas and surrounded by Deodhar & Pinewood trees . Its an independent Chalet with garden all around . It offers 3 spacious bedrooms with attached bathrooms . Managed by our Caretaker - Tilak who is an excellent cook . There is parking space for two cars & stay for drivers .
