Kid-friendly holiday rentals in La Part-Dieu, Lyon

Quaint, quiet, comfortable. Everything you need is available on foot. Great restaurants and hidden gems nearby. Love that it’s close to the urban park and metro/train. Pull out bed was easy to use and was handy to have a washing machine as we happened to come during a heat wave! Recommend if you’re looking for something quiet and convenient. Perfect for one or a couple.

We had a very good weekend in this accommodation. The people are welcoming and available to the customer if needed. We highly recommend this place whether for its cleanliness, its amenities or its geographical area (located a few minutes from Lyon with public transport 200 meters away).

We had such a wonderful stay in this beautiful, quiet and clean house. The garden and the terrace were such a delight. Being 5 min from the city centre (by bus that just stopped outside) with a view over Lyon and the Alps and Mt. Blanc, and experiencing the quietness of the countryside with hens in the garden is something not to be missed. We had fresh eggs every morning! The hosts, Sam and Louis, are wonderful and professional in every respect. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with cheese, charcuterie and wine after being shown around the house, which is beautifully furnished with a high-tech kitchen, sound system and electrical shutters. The house can be extended to the terrace with large sliding doors. At the end of our week, the hosts gave us a ride to the train station (Perrace). This house is an absolute jewel, and I recommend it highly. I will definitely choose Sam and Louis as hosts next time I go to Lyon!

This was our second stay here and the stairs are worth every step! It’s a beautiful and peaceful oasis. Already planning to return next year.

We had a lovely stay at Roland and his wife's place. The accommodation is clean, functional with lots of small touches (towels, soap, coffee, sugar, condiments, sunbed etc.). The area is very quiet (Auchan 10/15 min walk), bus nearby. The pool was lovely. The little thing to improve is just on the blind that covers the door, it lets in the light so when the sun rises, the room is no longer in the dark and difficult to go back to sleep personally.

We had a very pleasant stay in this tastefully renovated and particularly well-equipped accommodation. The environment is very quiet and allows you to recharge after the days of visiting the city. The bus is 50 meters away and allows you to reach the center of Lyon either directly or by transiting by metro. Communication with the host is excellent and the guide to activities to do and restaurants to discover that he has made is very useful. In short, if you want to spend a few days in Lyon, book this accommodation and you won't be disappointed.

A beautiful, comfortable nest on the 2nd floor without elevator in a typical Lyon building. Large bed and large TVs in each room. We also had large windows to open and large "blackout" curtains perfect for us. A bonus, there is a music school next door and they play a beautiful atmosphere in the evening. We had everything we needed in terms of equipment. For a couple, I would recommend!

The apartment was clean and a great size for two people. It is also easily accessible by public transport. Great stay!

Good place to stay in Lyon with good value for money and ideally located for visiting everything on foot or public transport. Thai is very responsive and attentive to guests' needs. I recommend

Yvan is the best host, very generous in providing essentials, proactive in ensuring we were comfortable and quick to respond. The apartment is very comfortable for a couple, with great bed, shower and kitchen, including a wonderful coffee machine. It's very quiet at night. All of the restaurants we went to in 4 nights were at least a ten minute walk, but involved walking along the river, which is quite pretty. There's also a tram stop a minute away that connects with the subway system -- we found the transit system quite easy to use.

This is a very clean and comfortable apartment. It’s really well situated, a short walk from the old city and close to many restaurants. Check-in is super easy and Stephanie and Manuella are excellent hosts, responding very quickly.

Martini’s place was perfect for us. Easy to get to by public transport from Lyon Part-Dieu. Martinez’s rep Tina was lovely and came to rescue us when we accidentally went to the wrong building. The apartment was lovely and we ate there each night. We appreciated the washing machine and clothes rack so even though there was a dryer we didn’t need it. Martine was prompt in answering any questions. Highly recommended. Thank you Martine and Tina!

I really enjoyed staying at Marion's Place, the instructions were clear and the apartment was as described. Marion also gave me some recommendations about the city as it was my first time and I took all the recommendations and it was super nice. The apartment is just about 5mins walk to the metro station so it was easy to navigate and there are great restaurants around. Would def come back.

What a good place to enjoy the beauty of Lyon! In front of the building, we see the entrance to the Théâtre Antique; the Basilica is a stone's throw away, of course you can easily find the funicular to go to old Lyon. The apartment is located in a beautiful environment, quiet and tranquil, especially it has an impressive view. You can see the Basilica from most windows! Sincewe are at the heart of the Fourvière hill, everything is sublime with greenery and refreshing air. The interior is as spotless as it is comfortable! We love the decor and style of it. This is a place to really rest. My wife and I spent our first morning in Lyon in the balcony without doing anything and just to stay in that tranquility. Julie really takes care of our stay. She arranged for us a perfect entrance to the apartment. Highly recommend!!

Gregory's place was super well located, being right next to the Botanical gardens is really great. The place was very spacious, very well equiped, the AC came in handy and overall super clean. This is a GREAT studio with the most amazing view of Lyon (it looks even more beautiful than the posted picture). Extremely clean, hosts were very responsive with troubleshooting a minor issue with blinds. I highly recommend this place for a single person or a couple. I really enjoyed the neighborhood with great eateries, an organic bakery nearby. It is a 5- minute walk to Halles de Bocuse which was so convenient and delicious!
