Kid-friendly holiday rentals in La-Nkwantanang-Madina

My seven friends and I rented this property, and it offered more than enough space for everyone without ever feeling crowded. Each bedroom had its own en-suite bathroom, plus there were two additional half baths, which was incredibly convenient. The location was ideal, shops and restaurants were all within a 10-minute drive. The property is gated and we always felt completely safe. Abu, the groundsman, and Patricia, the housekeeper, were both fantastic. Abu, in particular, went above and beyond, whatever we needed, he made it happen. We made great use of the pool during three of our five-day stay. The hosts Yaw and Vivian were consistently responsive and provided excellent local recommendations. Vivian even went out of her way to go get our driver who had gotten lost nearby. Every room had a television, WiFi, and air conditioning. Abu did laundry for a few of us on site. We definitely enjoyed our stay and will revisit the next time we are all in Ghana.

Nestled in the heart of a quaint city, our cozy stay at the charming 3 bedroom house was truly a delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and a sense of tranquility that enveloped us throughout our stay. The accommodations were beautifully decorated with a touch of rustic elegance, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere. Our room was spacious, yet cozy, with plush bedding. Each morning, we were greeted with warm morning message from our host. One of the highlights of our stay was the personalized service we received from the attentive host,who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was safe and secure. I will stay anytime l visit home.

Great place to stay. The antique nature of the decoration makes you feel right at home in an authentic African home. I highly recommend this for anyone from the diaspora who wants to connect with Africa and Ghana when coming home from abroad or wanting a place to stay. Everything was great. Even though we didn’t get to use the WiFi, we had a nice experience.

My parents and I had a great stay here. Even though they got to the airport very late and was stranded , Eric and his caretaker helped us out to move from the airport and get to the location very easily. He was very quick to respond to every single call for help we needed. And the place looks exactly as listed. We really enjoyed our stay and we are with no doubt to return the next time we come around.

The place is excellent, everything on point

The house is wonderful, with good furniture and spacious spaces. Everything was great and well organized. But more importantly was the welcome of Sandra: always available and eager to go out of her way to find the right solution for any issue. I highly recommend this place and Sandra. It is a 10/10.

My family had a solid stay at Kwame's place. It was a good transition spot for us just landing in Accra. My family was comfortable there. Although, we had a couple of issues with the front door not opening upon return and kitchen use, Kwame had those concerns corrected immediately. The Wifi goes out sometime's, so if you can bring a hotspot or your phone's data to supplement, the stay is still well worth the price. The area in Adenta Municipality where the house is located is much, much, safer than other spots in Adenta, that we were warned to stay away from, particularly as Diasporans. This was also a same day reservation for us, yet Kwame, was still ready to receive us immediately.

This is home away from home. Mr David and his family were so caring,accommodating, loving and supportive . They made me love Ghana. The reception was top notch . Next time I come to Ghana, I will definitely stay over in the apartment . The value of the money is worth it.

I have never met a host so eager and willing to make me feel welcome. This was my 1st time in Ghana and I cried so hard when leaving because the host and staff became family to me. Always a bright smile, a comforting hug when needed, and even willing to sit and chat so I didn’t feel so alone. I’ve already booked my next stay. I had previously booked somewhere with a pool, but amenities cannot replace GREAT SOULS! If you haven’t booked with Karibu yet, I don’t know what you are waiting on because it doesn’t get better than them! The rate for the stay is must less than what it should be, because you get wayyy more than purchased when you stay at Karibu’s🫶🏾🙌🏾

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Absolute Gem!!!💎 Staying at Michael’s place was an incredible experience, honestly, even better than what the pictures show (and the pictures already looked great!). The space was super spacious, spotless, and cozy, making us feel completely at home. We got free complimentary pack of water and apples 🍏. How thoughtful! Michael himself is truly one of a kind, so warm, friendly, and easy to talk to. He welcomed us like family. I’m pretty sure I have a new uncle now! 😂 There’s absolutely nothing negative to say. In fact, when it comes to value for money, I genuinely think he’s charging less than he should be (but don’t raise the price, please! 😅). You get way more than what you pay for, which is rare to find as most places are outrageous priced and doesn’t even match the value of money paid. I highly, highly recommend this beautiful home. If you get the chance to stay here don’t hesitate. You won’t regret it! Thanks Michael

I've had the pleasure of calling this apartment home for a while now, and I must say it's been an exceptional experience. The privacy and comfort level are top-notch, making it feel like a true sanctuary. The apartment itself is well-maintained, and the amenities are fantastic. But what truly sets it apart is the sense of seclusion and tranquility it provides. It's the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I've genuinely felt at home here, and I couldn't recommend it more to anyone seeking a peaceful and comfortable living space. Five stars isn't enough – it deserves a whole constellation of praise

Stayed at Kofi’s place for 5 weeks.4 weeks in Suite 201. A week in Suite 301.The location is perfect. About a kilometre off the N4 motorway which accesses areas like East Legon and Aburi where I had a lot dealings so perfectly situated for me. The compound is very pretty, gorgeous palm trees, well kept gardens, 24hour security including guard dogs.The Great Dane, Bold became a sweet distraction after nights out. I love dogs so befriended him.Won’t suggest everyone else does. Theres plenty of parking in the secure compound. The apartments are gorgeous inside. Stylish, trendy and well facilitated with everything needed to make the place a home away from home. Beds are comfortable, with crisp white sheets, towels provided. Apartments seviced on arrangement to suit guest.The staff, Cindy Selassi, Dickson, Micheal, Angelina. Lovely humans. Couldnt do enough. Only complaint pubs nearby that play loud music and remotes with dead batteries :) Thank you for a great stay Kofi. Will be back.

There was some confusion at check in and with the WiFi but hosts were very responsive and fixed the issue straight away! Great apoartment. Only thing is it being up 3 flights of stairs. It wasn’t a problem for us but could be for others. Overall very happy with our stay and would highly recommend!

Nana is indeed the best Airbnb host I’ve ever had. Right from booking he was very responsive with communication. He let us check in early due to another host cancelling the booking at the last minute which left us stranded. Upon check in, the house was very neat and beautiful just like the pictures. He was very friendly and accommodating right from the start. He provided us with everything we needed and was always a phone call away. He was also good with recommendations on fun things to do around Accra. The house is located in a very safe neighborhood with good street food and restaurant options. Getting food was never an issue as it was very accessible to walk. There’s also a currency exchange station and a kiosk where you can withdraw money via mobile. All in all whenever I’m back in Ghana I’ll always come back to this house. Recommend 100/100
