Holiday rentals with a fireplace in La Gomera

One of the best places we've ever stayed - spotlessly clean, lovely accommodation, comfortable bed, and an extremely well equipped kitchen. The location was superb - super quiet yet moments from the centre and the seafront. We loved the style of the house - it has been refurbished incredibly sympathetically, in that it still felt like a typical Canarian place, but was modern. The courtyard was really private, with some beautiful planting - the aloes especially were visited by both birds and bees during our stay, which was lovely to see. Garachico is such a beautiful town to stay in, and even despite the rain we had a fantastic week. Martin was really helpful both before and during the stay, and is a great host.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Leider war es hoch in den Bergen, etwas kühl, aber der makellos funktionierende Kamin hat die Bude schnell eingeheizt. Vielen Dank für dieses Schmuckstück auf Teneriffa.

What a wonderful find ! Be ready to be away from the world (and walk the steep path !) but what you get in return is absolutely wonderful. A little cottage that has everything you need and then some nice attentions and a million dollar view looking out to the ocean. We were 2, it's set up for 4 but that may be a little crowded. Early spring the house felt a bit damp from time to time, but that was surely also because of the weather. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for peace and quiet with a view and is OK with taking the car (which you definitely need) for visits and dinner. We loved it !

The villa is incredible, just like in the pictures. We particularly enjoyed the infinity pool outside looking over the Atlantic Ocean and neighbouring islands. Natalia was an excellent host and very responsive to any issues we had! There is construction noise on weekdays as homes are being built along the road but it shouldn't take away from the experience. Highly recommend this villa to anyone looking to escape the main tourist areas of Tenerife. Definitely rent a car if you plan to stay here as well. There is an excellent shop two minutes drive away and you can easily drive to most of the main attractions on the south of the island within 30 to 50 minutes. Thanks again!

Nagyon jól éreztük magunkat Anvela szálláshelyén. Minden tiszta, rendezett és nagyon tetszetős volt. Tágas ház egy nagyon nyugodt, szép környéken. A ház nagyon jól felszerelt: mosógép, mosogatógép, kávéfőző, vízforraló, kenyérpirító, hajszárítók a fürdőszobákban, bőven volt törölköző is. Közel volt az óceánpart éttermekkel, kávézókkal, de az autópálya is pár percnyire volt, így könnyű volt megközelíteni a látványosságokat. A bérelt autókkal az utcán, a ház előtt tudtunk mindig parkolni, semmilyen gond nem volt, a környék nagyon biztonságos. A medence is szuper volt, mi áprilisban voltunk, így kértük a medencefűtést, ami jó ötletnek bizonyult. Reméljük, a jövőben valamikor visszatérhetünk.

Es war eine wunderschöne Unterkunft, wir hatten unsere Ruhe, konnten die tolle Aussicht und jeden Abend den atemberaubenden Sonnenuntergang genießen 😊 In der Küche war alles notwendige fürs Kochen da. Vielen Dank für alles.

we stayed three weeks in the apartment and had a great time. it is a bit dark, but very cozy, a fireplace offers warmth during colder evenings, the kitchen is well equipped! And the location is great: El Tanque bajo is a small community with friendly folks, a nice small convenience store and a source nearby so that you don‘t have to buy water the whole time. But you need a car because it is remote, but there are enough parking lots at the church. Ah, an be prepared to drive a lot of small streets and serpentines. and last but not least: the hosts are very nice and helpful! Thanks for the great time

Great apartment a bit of noise at night but not to bad .just needs to be a bit more flexible on checking out as 10 o’clock is too early because if you are on a late flight you have no were to get changed or put your suitcase but will be definitely be booking again many thanks

We have spent two days in the apartment in January. It is a nice place away from the coast, in a quiet neighbourhood. The communication was easy and fast, we have found the place without any problem. The kitchen was well equipped, and the apartment was spacious for two of us. It can be a useful info that this area of Tenerife – according to our experience – is a cold place in January. One should consider this, but if you plan to do e.g. hiking - as we did -, it should not cause any problem.

ubytování bylo úžasné, velmi oceňuji pračku a sušičku, a opravdu nádherný dvorek s květinami, za mě nejlépe utracené peníze. Tichá a nádherná vesnička, skvělé pro nás, co sami bydlíme na vesnici a jsme zvyklí na klid. Ideální místo pro výlety kamkoliv, kamkoliv jsme jeli, tak zácpy na dálnici byly vždy opačným směrem... :)

Le logement etait parfait pour nous! Une vue mignifique, une grande terrasse avec le mobilier, l'équipement de la cuisine comme si vous etiez à la maison... un parasol, glacière, serviette de plage, clim... La piscine sur le toit un énorme plus. Au pied de l'immeuble il y a une plage et tout ce dont vous aurez besoin (resto, boutique et mini market). Avec l'appartement il y a une place de parking. Bref un des meilleurs logements airbnb que nous ayons eu. Merci pour l'accueil 🙂

I would like to say first of all that Alexander and Miriam are 10 out of 5 stars in hospitality and service. We had a medical emergency when we arrived and they helped us get to the hospital and treated us like family despite only knowing us for 10 mins. They are the kindest most helpful hosts I’ve ever met and am extremely grateful and thankful for them. The house itself is perfect for anyone trying to get away from the overly tourist populated areas. Everything matches the description and more. Highly recommend this Airb&b for an unforgettable experience.

Lovely home, very clean and private, perfect for our toddler to run around in the garden safely. Within walking distance to Los Silos with square, coffee etc. We didn’t have the best weather (be aware in the north!) but Pablo kindly provided us with a heater so we could stay warm in the evenings. A few people have commented on the busy road nearby - yes you can hear it but it didn’t really impact us.

Emilio heeft ons super hartelijk ontvangen. Hij was erg flexibel en reageerde snel op onze berichten. Het huisje is modern en netjes ingericht, net als het naastgelegen zwembad! De plek is rustig. Los Silos viel ons een beetje tegen om te voet wat te gaan eten (alleen de pizzeria), dus je hebt wel echt de auto nodig. Alles was geregeld en in orde en de keuken was zeer compleet. Enige tip: voor 5 dagen zou het fijn zijn om schone handdoeken te geven. Nu moesten we er zelf om vragen.

Die Besitzer waren äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten sehr netten Kontakt mit Ihnen. Die Lage der Finca ist atemberaubend und der Garten ist wunderschön angelegt. Die Finca ist sehr schön, und mit Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Einfach nur wunderbar…wir kommen wieder…

Wir waren 9 Nächte dort. Traumhaft schön. Es ist alles wie beschrieben. Emilio ist sehr hilfsbereit und kümmert sich ganz hervorragend. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Sollten wir wieder nach Teneriffa fliegen, dann wieder in dieses Unterkunft.

photos really don't do it justice. it's north of the island so away from everything but only a hours drive from the south. 5 of us stayed here and it was lovely, great cooking facilities and everything is clean and tidy. would definitely stay again.

Недавно побывали на этой вилле — и до сих пор под впечатлением! Это было именно то, что нужно для перезагрузки: тишина, природа, шикарный интерьер и абсолютное ощущение уединения. Вилла оборудована всем необходимым, всё продумано до мелочей — от удобной мебели до стильного декора. Особенно порадовал вид — просыпаться с чашкой кофе и смотреть на рассвет с террасы стало любимым ритуалом. Чистота идеальная, чувствуется, что за местом тщательно ухаживают. Хозяева гостеприимные и отзывчивые, помогли с трансфером и посоветовали отличные места поблизости. Если ищете место, где можно действительно отдохнуть душой и телом — очень рекомендую. Сюда хочется вернуться!

Casa Jable was exactly what we hoped for and more, the house and pool area are designed beautifully and kept immaculate. Nice touches with bath robes and extra towels and thanks to Ruth for having a few things in the fridge for us Hope to be back same time next year

Svetlana's villa is beautiful, spacious, quiet and has every home comfort you can wish for. The pool and hot tub/jacuzzi were a great private place to hang out. We also enjoyed the view of the golf course on the other side of the villa, starting our lazy mornings watching the golfers come past. The location was excellent, an easy 20 min drive down the motorway from the airport, with supermarkets nearby. 15 min walk or 5 mins drive to La Caletta where there is a good selection of quality restaurants. A great place to watch the sun go down over the bay. Svetlana was very responsive, making suggestions for car hire, and a boating company when I asked. We will certainly be coming back.
