Holiday rentals in La Esperanza

We had a great time with my family, the cottage is well equipped for cooking and a few days away from the noise of the city. If you bring your food you will not need to leave the place, in addition to the pool there is space to play football, net for volley ball and stove to make a roast and relax. You can hike on the way to the hot springs of Don Alfonso 2km on foot. It was a great experience. Noe was a great host, he was available all the time.

We loved our stay at Ramons place! Everywhere you look there are such cool details. We would recommend it to anyone! The grounds keeper, Wilmer, was an excellent host. As a word of caution, the restaurant just. down the road, MacDouglas, was terrible. Expensive and the food horrible. In Ocotal we ate at Llamarada del Bosque, Cinnamon Cafe and Casa Vieja and the food was great. Thankfully the area had cell signal because the house doesn't have wifi. Definitely would stay again!

Teresa and Eddy are not just wonderful hosts, but people you should feel genuinely lucky to meet. You feel like you want to get to know them better and that will be a rewarding experience. They’re visionaries and have created a wonderful space.

Our visit in Nicaragua's up and coming Nueva Segovia coffee region was amazing thanks to Walter. He actually has two options, the house that sits on his coffee farm in the mountains and a house in the main town of Ocotal. we visited both. the house in the coffee farm is spacious and has amazing views of his steep mountain coffee farm. If you want to really experience coffee country and see where your coffee comes from this is the place. We also stayed in Ocotal where he has a new build place right in the local market street. He was kind enough to offer this to us because we were arriving late. We had an amazing steak dinner. Walter went above and beyond as a host and we got to be the first test visitors for his coming Airbnb coffee experience . We saw amazing country, cupped coffee, visited a shade grown coffee farm and coffee mill. This is why you go to coffee country and Walter helped make it happen! We highly recommend Walter's properties and Experience when it launches!

Teresa is super nice. We were very well received and the service was always excellent, as was the food she offered us. I recommend it 100%.

We really enjoyed staying in this house and our kids probably enjoyed it more than us! is only about 10 or 15 minutes to the city of Ocotal in a small village just up the road. the space is actually a lot nicer than what the photos show. It is very well thought out and very well equipped with everything you need to cook. The beds were really comfortable and they were good linens and good towels as well. the host was super responsive and communicated well with us and work everything out as needed. I would definitely recommend staying here especially if you have a larger group of people. It is definitely sort of the outdoor living room feeling with a big nice grass yard and swing set and they are our little soccer goals. Overall it was a great stay!
