A truly unforgettable stay! This private, spacious boathouse was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we were wowed by the unique character and thoughtful design—especially the stunning bolted ceiling that give the space more charm with a touch of grandeur. The bed was comfortable, making every night restful and serene. The bathroom was great with a big walk-in shower, and heated floors were a luxurious bonus we didn’t know we needed! Everything was spot on, blending comfort with a sense of adventure. If you’re looking for a stay that’s both cozy and strikingly unique, this is it!

This was a lovely place to stay, as detailed in the description. We stayed for a week and the kids loved having a pool. The owners dog does roam in the garden, which our kids were a bit afraid of but the owners did try to call her back in. The other thing to note is that the property is very close to a train line so you hear the trains. We really enjoyed our stay with David and Corinne, they were on hand when we needed to ask things but even when they use their garden you don’t feel like they are intruding. We would definitely stay again.

The accommodation is very tastefully and fully furnished with good furniture, lots of books, art on the wall etc. Outside is a beautiful terrace with barbecue. A little further away is the lovely natural pool with seating. Adrian's estate (and Vicky) also consists of his own home, some beautiful old stables and other houses, a meadow with donkeys, an artist's studio and a vegetable garden. The whole is very charming, peaceful and in a green natural setting. Adrian himself (Vicky was in England) is very nice and the welcome was very warm with a chest of vegetables, fruits, homemade jam, etc. We had a wonderful week at Adrian's place as a family (6 adults and a baby) and we can highly recommend this accommodation.

We really liked Thomas’ place. The pool is much better than the photos look and the pool was very clean. A great little seating area under a canopy and plenty of sun loungers. Rarely used by anyone else! Good location for road cycling (road cyclists from UK will find the roads undulating and open). Really nice peaceful setting. Really quiet. WiFi good enough to do video calls to work from the house.

We had a great stay. Christie and Jean-Marc are very friendly, helpful and hospitable, they made us feel at home straight away. The gite has all the comforts, is very clean and well equipped. Being able to use the nice size pool is a plus. Great location close to all amenities and a beautiful chateau. We will be back.

We had a great time at Dominique and her husband's home. The accommodation is impeccably maintained, impeccably clean, and decorated with taste. It immediately felt good. They are warm and caring hosts, who make sure everything goes smoothly. The value is good. It's an address that we treasure — we'll be happy to come back!

I recommend it without hesitation, Astrid is human and that's not common. A woman who is there for any problems. Very nice, the area was so quiet that I've never slept so well. The house was so clean that I didn't want to dirty it. I felt right at home, I didn't want to leave. There was everything you need in a house, even more than you need. Thanks again a thousand times. We had booked Hermine's house for 9 nights, were very, very friendly received by the co-host Mélanie, who looked after us very nicely in person or by phone during our entire stay with all questions. The house is very nice, cozy and tastefully decorated. The kitchen has everything you need. For us, the location was ideal because we like peace and seclusion. The surrounding villages are very small and tranquil, but you can shop nearby. We did some bike tours, the paths are well developed. We also enjoyed Angoulème very much. All in all a nice stay and perfect care! Merci beaucoup à Mélanie! Note: The stairs to the upper floor are beautiful but not suitable for people who are not good on their feet. You must not enter with shoes, it has no handrail and is very irregular and smooth. But that was no problem for us.

A small, peaceful and very pleasant accommodation. We booked it as part of a sports competition and we were very happy to stay there. Communication with Sabrina was perfect and the little touches for my baby made my stay easier. I recommend it.

Charming and very accommodating hosts (Jean-Gabriel and his wife). Perfect accommodation, corresponding in every respect to the description, very clean (visibly new accommodation) and perfectly equipped, top bedding, individual air conditioning in each bedroom (each bedroom having its own private bathroom) and in the living/dining room, a very nice terrace. You don't need to bring anything with you, because you'll find everything you need... the kindness of the hosts as a gift! Frankly, it's one of the top three AirBnB homes I've ever stayed in, and I've stayed in "a few".... Thanks both of you 👍

We had a pleasant stay . The cottage is very well located (close to the castle of the pouyade) in a small picturesque hamlet and especially very quiet. Vincent is a very charming host, the welcome was great I recommend this rental 👍

We had a brilliant week at David and Jo's. The cottage was beautiful, with gorgeous old features but also up to date and pristine. Photos make it look lovely but it's even better in real life! Everything you need, including sharp kitchen knives and the most comfortable bed I've slept in in a while. Stunning surroundings and so peaceful. Had great fun in the pool and trying to play tennis! Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. David and Jo were such lovely, kind hosts. Have already recommended it to friends and family. Really hope we get to return.

Mathis' 2nd stay was still perfect! Cleanliness, welcome: great. In addition, with Amora mustard, Evian mineral water, Kleenex Ultra Soft tissues, etc.: Mathis feels like he is always at home with the same products as at our place. What happiness for this second stay!

The place is very beautiful and serene. The house is clean and very modern. The entrance is a bit difficult to find and you need to bring your own towels, but otherwise it was a lovely stay.

We spent three days and two nights in Anne-Marie and Paul's beautiful studio, and we intend to return as soon as possible. A real little cocoon, very well equipped and ideally located in a quiet and idyllic environment. And what a view from the deck! We enjoyed beautiful walks around the village, and our dog Marcus was in heaven. What can I say about the warm welcome and kindness of Anne-Marie and Paul? We simply felt like family. Anne-Marie even took the time to go for a walk with us, accompanied by her adorable dog Jojo, to show us the surroundings. Special mention for the little touches that make all the difference: fresh eggs from the house hens, cold beers and delicious cherries were waiting for us on arrival. In short, go with your eyes closed: it's really not an Airbnb like any other.

The stay at Stéphanie's went perfectly. You will find all the necessary comfort, and even more. The accommodation is well-equipped, the terrace with barbecue as well as the quiet garden offer a real moment of relaxation, all in the city center.
