Nice house, nothing was missing. It is clean and in a very quiet corner. Very close to Domino where there is a grocery store, a bakery and a market. You can rent bikes right next door or at Domino. Sonia was super nice. The Les Sables restaurant at the campsite was very nice!

Beautiful Villa in a nice peaceful location

Everything at your fingertips, without missing a thing. This is how I would define this little gem, by far one of my most beautiful surprises on Airbnb. I recommend 200%.

We had an exceptional stay in this beautiful house on the island of Oléron. The place is even more beautiful than in the photos: the house is perfectly equipped, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The environment is quiet, green and ideal to unwind. The location is perfect for exploring the island easily. A huge thank you to our host, who was welcoming, available and attentive throughout the stay. We'll be happy to go back!

Nadine is a very nice, unobtrusive hostess. We were very satisfied with their house, adjacent to a small garden with terrace, on the other side of the house a green courtyard with a shady tree, suitable both as a parking space for the car and as a lounge area. St. Pierre with its beautiful market hall was very pleasant in the preseason, for strolling and shopping as well as with good gastronomy. We would love to come back and recommend the house!

We felt very comfortable and welcome, the apartment with the terrace and the beautiful garden are a gem. The sea is close and the surroundings are very quiet. Only the Internet has repeatedly dropped out, which was sometimes annoying.

Very nice rental in a very quiet area of St Pierre d 'Oléron and very close to Cotinière. Anything can be done by bicycle. There's nothing missing from this house that turned out to be very fresh ,appreciable with 33 outside. Catherine is very available ,concerned about your comfort and attentive even if she can't be there when you arrive. We recommend it ++++++

Book in June to cycle around the island. The location of the cotiniere is perfect because it is central, the accommodation is a stone's throw from the port with shops and restaurants. The beach is just next door, within walking distance. The house is quiet and functional. The air conditioning is in the kitchen/living room area. I haven't used it, but it must be just for the rooms if it's very hot. Ask hosts who respond quickly. Perfect stay because the house is very nice and ideally located.

We liked the stay in Anne Carole's "Haus Am Strand" very much. It was relaxing and quiet for us. The direct access to the beach is so wonderful! The beach in the evening sun is incredibly beautiful and peaceful. The location is also highly recommended for cycling tours. We particularly liked the port of La Cotinière and the lighthouse. Magical time in a tastefully renovated place We had a fantastic stay at this charming property. Everything was stylish and thoughtfully designed to ensure our beach holiday in mid-June. The setup—with a main house and one separate building—worked perfectly for us, offering both shared and private spaces, like having our very own square. The location is unbeatable: nestled in the peaceful village of La Biroire, with a few minute stroll to the sea and a brief ride by car (or bicycle to Saint-Pierre. The perfect base for exploring the island! The main house is bright and welcoming, with a well-equipped kitchen, a lovely open living area, and a cozy bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. The chalet across the courtyard would be ideal for extra guests, with 2 comfortable bedrooms, a small living area, plus another bathroom. There's no trouble finding a spot on the street for your car.

We had a lovely stay with the family in Irene's house. The accommodation is very nice (new), clean, well-equipped and in a good location (in a quiet hamlet, surrounded by vineyards, but still close to the Cotiniere and St Pierre, a few minutes by bike via the bike paths)

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

Great stay at Catherine's. House as described. Pleasant. Great bedding. Very well-equipped kitchen. Very nice garden with deckchair and garden table to spend time outside. Very nice baby high chair and possibility to change baby on the bathroom worktop. Beach 3 min walk. Center 10 min walk. Great location. We'll be back with pleasure:)

We had a great time at Melanie's home. The house is spacious and comfortable. It has all the necessary equipment (including the small details and basic supplies that make the difference). The house has a garage for bicycles, which is a plus because we brought ours. We found the location of the house perfect for exploring the whole island of Oléron by bike. Great value overall. We'll be happy to go back!

Excellent welcome from our host, with his nice smile. Mélanie is responsive, available and gave us very good advice on restaurants and activities to discover on the island. The accommodation is close to the city center, with its covered market, where you can buy fresh products, close to a supermarket, colorful fishermen's huts, the citadel... The accommodation is very clean, well arranged, tastefully decorated, well equipped and air-conditioned. The bedding is extremely good. We have stayed several times on the island, which we love very much. We will gladly return to Mélanie and Nicolas.
