Pet-friendly holiday rentals in La Convención Province

We would highly recommend staying with Sonia. We are a family with 2 kids (8&5) and we loved this place! Sonia is the sweetest and will make sure you’re taken care of at any time of the day. The homemade breakfast in the morning and a cup of tea in the afternoon were so welcome! Sonia also provides a wool/weaving demonstration as part of the stay at which was great and so educational! The kids especially loved the guinea pigs and the alpacas. Sonia is our new Peruvian aunt! We would definitely go back!

It was a wonderful place, quiet and with all the comforts to spend it as a family. Awesome!!

The house is 3B. Good, beautiful and cheap. It is spacious and comfortable for large families. I recommend it 100%. Fanny is very kind and attentive. To be considered. -The house is quite tucked away in the village of Calca, I highly recommend arriving in a vehicle. Even more so if you have plans outside of Calca, for example in Urubamba, Maras, Moray, etc. (30-40min average distance). -If you are driving, the parking lot is not freely accessible, you have to notify Fanny so that she can open it for you. Although Fanny is super attentive and never took long to respond, you don't have that ease of entry to pleasure.

Eduardo is an excellent host! very helpful with instructions and attentive! The view of the mountains is amazing and it has a huge garden with a patio setting to enjoy! I loved the yoga studio upstairs with a deck to practice outside or also inside! The bed is very comfortable and the shower is strong and Hot! It has a new kitchen with oven that I enjoyed very much! The best part it's that Arin Waterfalls are only 20 minutes walking! Amazing spot to enjoy, meditate and watch the valley from the top! The neighborhood it's very peacefull and people are very kind! I felt safe at all time! I would definitely come back!

Clean and very comfortable two bedroom unit. Ankit was the perfect host! We were staying at the unit prior to a Machu Picchu hike, and our tour company kept giving us different information about where we would be picked up. Ankit offered to drive us to the meeting place at 5 AM! After the hike, my husband got sick and Ankit brought additional blankets so I could sleep in the living room to let DH get the best rest (and to try and avoid getting sick myself!). When we decided to to stay an extra day, we had to forgo our arranged driver back to Cusco, and Ankit said he could drive us for a very reasonable fee. There is a washer on site, so we left with clean clothes! I highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Everything is nice. It's worth staying in the place. The host was quick to respond. The place is cozy and centrally located. I would come back again.

Loved my stay! The place is a bit off the beaten path but still so close to everything in town. I loved walking past cows and horses to arrive. The place itself is great. Wifi worked fantastically for work and the upstairs is so bright during the day from the windows. Hosts were very helpful and responsive.

Very nice host, fast entry, good location close to all the shops. It has a pool and my pets were comfortable with the place Well-equipped kitchen. Otherwise everything was super good !

We really enjoyed our stay. We were like family with small children and the well cut grass garden and the pool with no deep water was perfect for them. There was also a mesh around the entire garden that gave us more peace of mind regarding the kids. That way the turkeys didn't come in either. It's quite hot in the upstairs room, but can be ventilated. We were very happy!

This house sits in a quiet Urubamba neighborhood. The instructions to get there were accurate. The only issue we had was announcing our presence to the host, as there is no doorbell. We had to exchange a few messages with Daniel to gain entry. To his credit, Daniel said he will look into addressing this issue quickly. It is a large house with a large outdoor area as well as, arranged very nicely with a pool (that we haven’t used), pool table and lots of sitting and eating areas. Inside the place is beautiful, arranged on 3 levels. The kitchen had oil, salt, pepper, some bottled water and quick dissolving coffee provided. The host provided bread toaster when requested. Hot water was provided using solar power and took a bit of time for the water to warm up and the pressure was somewhat low. We had enough bedrooms for everyone with plenty of bathrooms with soap, shampoo and body wash. Overall we had a great experience. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Cozy place, spacious and very pleasant to share with family and friends, easy access. Super smooth communication. I had everything described and necessary for a stay.

Everything was very nice, just like the pictures. We spent some nice days as a family and Rosemarie's attention inside the house made our stay even more special. I recommend it 100%

Very friendly host, the lovely house, a quiet, spacious and comfortable place, great views, unforgettable landscape, we would gladly return!

I can't say enough good things about our stay. This three-bedroom spot was perfect for our family, which included kids and grandparents. The place felt inviting and homey, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The kids loved having their own room, and use of the playground right outside the front door. We enjoyed the fully-equipped kitchen so we could cook our own meals, and the half-bath on the first floor was convenient when spending the day in-and-out. We also felt safe and secure as the community is staffed and gated. The location was beautiful and the weather was perfect, allowing us to enjoy ample time outside. We didn't bring our dogs, but we easily could have, especially because there was an enclosed patio at the back of the home. There was space to park our vehicle and we were a close drive from the main area, where we happened upon some festivities for the holiday and enjoyed meals and drinks at a few local restaurants, cafes, and breweries. Highly recommend!

Fantastic. Edson was super communicative. Exactly what you'd want for a host. I had to keep extending my stay and he was very flexible with me and with the check in process too. Super grateful for the firewood, too! The location is fantastic, too. Lovely walks up towards Chicon and very close to all the things in Urubamba. Highly recommend!!!

We loved this location near a beautiful waterfall! Cozy bed and well stocked kitchen with a nice fireplace. The staff was able to help us carry our bags across the bridge and park just outside the gate. We really enjoyed it!

Joel is very kind ,I was attentive upon our arrival , the place is very close to everything is quiet , the house is very comfortable as it is in the photos we felt at home . I recommend staying at Joel's apartment:)

Awesome location and very safe. We had a wonderful week and would definitely stay here again. The house is beautiful, warm and had everything. 100% recommended.

The small house was very comfortable, centrally located in Arin and very close to the waterfall even with the view of the waterfall from the bedroom!! The hot water was constant with an amazing shower head and there’s beautiful jasmine in the garden area. The house is in the same gated area as another large home that’s about 20 feet away. Still private But during my months day, there were several other people that were coming in and out of the property. There’s a corner store just a block away for water and basic food. The heating was not very strong. It was one heater that would only go to 50%. There was ample closet and storage space which was great for me and my traveling partner. Maybe be helpful to ask for another heater or extra blankets if you’re going during the cold season. The pans were also all aluminum so we had to purchase our own pan in neighboring city that was stainless steel. Overall, a very good value for the money great location And beautiful garden area.

What a wonderful little piece of paradise just minutes walk from the center of Urubamba 😊 The house is just far enough away from the bustle of the town to find the peace we were hoping for amongst the nature of the valley and morning birdsong.. Nina is a lovely host who was more than welcoming to us and our 11 week old baba 🥰 We hope we are lucky enough to visit again!

Highly recommended place, the stay was very short to enjoy the space and disconnect from the noise. I recommend it for all those who want to disconnect from the noise of the city. I recommend taking precautions because there are no stores nearby, with this ready you will have an excellent stay. i will be back!

Maribel's 2 apartments are very comfortable. At the last minute we needed an extra night and this apartment was not available but we were able to stay in the other one. They have everything you need for a comfortable stay, the kitchen is well equipped, large TVs, extra bedspread for the cold, constant hot water with very good pressure, a nice garden. The balcony of the 2nd floor apartment is very spacious and comfortable. Located at the foot of the road, which gives quick access to transportation, multiple stores nearby. My only observation is about the armchairs that are uncomfortable and dirty, but it is not something that would stop us from staying again. I'm sure if we return to the valley, this would be the place where we would stay. Thank you Maribel, Mrs. Julia and sister, you were very kind the entire time we needed your help.

Beautiful stay near Ollantaytambo, and right at the trailhead of some of the best hiking in the valley. Highly recommend this house especially if you love the constant sound of running water—so close to the river!
