Kid-friendly holiday rentals in La Capellania

Beautiful villa up in the hills. Our host Pepe was fantastic -meeting us at a pre-arranged location and driving with us directly to the house despite a very late (2am!) flight arrival. The gardens and land around the house are beautifully tended and Pepe took great pride showing us around and we benefitted with fresh grown beans, artichokes, spinach, oranges, lemons….and of course daily eggs from the chickens! It’s approx 15min drive to the nearest towns/supermarkets and 40min into Malaga, but if you want peace and quiet in the middle of stunning scenery then this villa is ideal.

My wife and I spent around 2 weeks at this beautiful place. The views are amazing and the property is located in a quiet neighborhood. Anita is amazing, a super host, very helpful and knows the area well. She answered all our questions and recommended restaurants and other businesses. Although Mijas Pueblo is a walking distance away, we found driving our rental car saved us time and energy. Everything seems to be just a few minutes away, even the coastline and the airport. We like peace and quiet, so coming back to this quiet setting at the end of the day after spending time in busy Málaga, Marbella or Fuengirola was a delight. Pool and terrace were a joy, clean and well maintained. The surroundings are in a beautiful mountain, so you will find yourself driving or walking uphill or downhill most of the time. There are a few steps from the entrance to the rental unit. I’m in my 60s and good health, had no issues. We can’t wait to be back!

Stayed in Luuk's beautiful apartment for 11 days. Especially the large roof terrace with unobstructed views was fantastic! The house has all the comforts and the 2 swimming pools complete it. Due to the higher location, it is indeed a must to rent a car. Luuk was also quick to respond to messages to questions. Highly recommended!

we enjoyed our stay! Sergio and Alida were great hosts. They respond very fast for any requests and assist in every aspect. The house is nice, needs a little work and a bit more furnitures, which will be taken up with the owner according to Sergio. The view is really nice and it is a quiet and safe neighborhood! Juliette is as rare as a perfect host! Sweet, welcoming and very flexible in relation to special requests. We were allowed to put food in the fridge before we checked in and were in direct contact with her cleaning staff, who were very service-minded and open to our wishes. The house was really cozy and well furnished, the kitchen was equipped simply, but with the things you need. A lot of effort had been made to make the rooms and bathrooms look clean and tidy. For example, flowers were placed in the bathrooms. All this made our stay perfect and went smoothly, for the benefit of our customers and our business. Thank you so much for that, Juliette! A beautiful house with an amazing view over the rooftops to the sea and all the way to Fuengirola. Very easy to get to from Malaga airport without a car as the train station is only 5 minutes walk away. The pool was in the sun all day so the water was a nice temperature. The beds were comfortable and we really enjoyed the rain shower. There are several restaurants within a ten minute walk as well as a supermarket. We contacted the hosts when a door wouldn't unlock, and a locksmith was there less than an hour later, so a very responsive host.

place was very clean at check in. host Sara was excellent to deal with. location is amazing, close to beach and restaurants. after touring for 10 hours a day we enjoyed coming back and spending our time on the beautiful large balcony overseeing the ocean. will be coming back for sure soon

Beautiful accommodation with a truly incredible view. The accommodation was very clean and there is everything available in the apartment. We really did not miss a thing. Thank you again for the kindness of the hosts and we will definitely come back next year to their accommodation.

Nice apartment, a bit confusing at the beginning to find the locker but Bianca gave us all the information quickly. Nice view from the terrace. It will be good to have another air conditioner in the bedroom, specially when it’s very hot outside. All together a nice experience.

June 2025 Just got back to UK a few days ago and again like last year what a fantastic apartment and Host SONIA 👏 This time took some more family and they absolutely loved it all location apartment and all you can want in a holiday Sonia is the best Host ever so friendly and whatever you ask she finds out for you always and fast 🏃‍♀️ checked in early and even the maid was brilliant 👏 All around there are restaurants bars beach ⛱️ areas with beds all so cheap in price 🙄 just below apartment coffee and brandy 3 euros how much more do you want You can walk forever along the promande and it's so peaceful ✌️ too special praise 👏 for Sonia always 🙏 Perfect 👌 Host xx cheers 🍻 Roy and family ESSEX UK

Very fast communication, we loved the appartement, exactly as described.

A great place to stay, very quiet and year round pool available. Photos were slightly different to what it was. Only down fall was the was no aircon in the bedroom, but there was in the living room so we slept on the pull out sofa. Very clean and responsive hosts, would definitely visit again. The area is tranquil and beautifully quiet and although not all aspects of the apartment was like the photos, it was nevertheless a beautiful place to stay. Thank you very much!
