Family-friendly holiday rentals in La Brède

Stephane and Sylvie were amazing hosts. They gave us great local recommendations, organised a personal winery tour for us and booked in a massage. The location is beautiful, peaceful setting and the pool was fantastic. We booked to have breakfast one morning - it was stunning. Beautiful presentation and lovely food. We highly recommend staying here - truley relaxing.

Myself and 7 friends spend 3 nights here and we had the most incredible stay. It is rare to book a unit where there are no bad bedrooms, but all 5 bedrooms in this unit were perfection! Comfortable beds, strong air conditioning, and full private bathrooms in each bedroom. The kitchen and living room spaces were equally as great, and the hot tub was the cherry on top! We also loved the location right next to the park and walking distance from all the city's main attractions.

Very clean accommodation and very well-equipped. We had a very good night's sleep because the bedding is in excellent condition

A magical place to stay! can't recommend enough. if Gérard asks if you want the hot tub then YES YOU WANT THE HOT TUB! A perfect way to watch the sunset. Close to the big food market and Cite Du Vin. Peaceful sleeps. Excellent communication.

The house was in a perfect location, it was quiet but close to everything. It was clean and well equipped. Marine was super responsive and easy to work with.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Clos Castaing. Kayaking, paddle boarding and canoeing on the Dordogne. Cycling and visiting local vineyards and St Emilion. The house is full of character, spacious and a perfect, tranquil base.

We had a fantastic stay at Brigitte’s, better than the photos with 3 great sized en suite bedrooms. Outside space was wonderful and very quiet. Very central with most places walkable but also close to tram route. Brigitte gave us some great advice of restaurants which were fantastic. We’d really recommend this place for anyone considering Bordeaux.

We had a wonderful stay. It is a humble apartment, but the grounds, courtyard and experience of living in an old castle created a once in a lifetime experience. The host was very kind and responsive.

Perfect stay in Valerie's apartment. Self check-in very convenient. Heating put before our arrival very nice. Thanks! The foldaway bed is a real plus. Quiet space. Valerie is responsive and gives all instructions in a very clear way. It's perfect even for a longer stay than 3 days. Very well equipped and good bedding. Street space to park or 1 parking lot inside the garden .

Special memories made here. For those who love complete all but from the birds, views that are jaw-dropping, and accommodations simple but charming, this is for you. Be sure to bring your own kitchen stuff (plates , utensils, etc) but no cooking can take place other than with the use of the microwave. A wonderful host, who took the time to welcome us and explain where we were, and what we were looking at, made it all the more special. Thank you so much!

Kind, responsive and very accommodating host, clear check-in and checkout instructions. The house was perfectly clean, lots of games/toys for children, the trampoline is a real plus. For the record, the cellular network is non-existent in the house and the wifi is quite unstable (none in most rooms) , so not suitable for people working remotely for example, but quiet house conducive to family rest. Proximity to the Bassin d 'Arcachon and activities for many children in the area. Thank you to the hosts for their kindness and responsiveness, and see you soon in this beautiful region ☺️

A charming cottage very close to st emilion town and very close to the station. Sophie was very kind to pick us up and really helpful with suggestions on good restaurants and places to visit. She was very responsive to every request. We really enjoyed our time there. Thanks for being a great host Sophie. I highly recommend this place.

We spent 4 very pleasant days. The cottage is well located, you can park in front of it. It is in the countryside and the environment is very relaxing. A terrace where we had lunch, a modern kitchen with all the necessary equipment and a top bathroom. Excellent bedding and extremely clean! We were very well received and if the opportunity arises we will come back! We recommend this cottage for people who love nature and tranquility

The only small downside would be the staircase to go upstairs which is a little rough but otherwise the house is functional, clean and the outside is just great. No neighbors or noise. There is a good chance that I will rent again when we return to the area.

The accommodation is very charming, tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. The environment is calm, soothing, ideal for recharging. We especially enjoyed the pool. Host was very available. We will come back without hesitation and recommend this place without second thought!

This is the second time we have stayed at Loustalet. Need I say more? Extremely comfortable home, everything we needed for a family holiday. Nightingales sang in the woods, buzzards and kites soared above us and we were visited by hares and deer in the garden. The house is well situated for what we needed in Castillion la Bataille and close enough to enjoy Saint Emilion and Libourne. Our host was extremely attentive and helpful yet respected our privacy and we are surely to return again.

Anne's place was a fantastic place for a weekend away with a large group of friends. The house is spacious, the kitchen very well equipped (including two fridges and a separate freezer) and the facilities for entertainment were excellent. Anne was very welcoming, responsive and relaxed about us staying up late (due to the lack of neighbours around). Would thoroughly recommend!

We had a great week with 6 friends in this beautiful cottage close to Bordeaux! On the terrace we were allowed to put the indoor table, so we could eat all our meals outside overlooking the vineyards, in addition, the swimming pool area is well maintained and we were also able to spend hours here... Lillian is very helpful and nice and we definitely learned some during the wine tasting!

Great weekend at Mathieu's, the apartment is clean and very well equipped. The building is quiet, secure and you can park your car there. I highly recommend it!

Quiet and refreshing stay, in a charming independent cottage with its wood burning stove and wood available for the stay! Anne and Sébastien are adorable, welcoming, discreet and available at the same time. Lots of great tips. Go spend your stay without a second thought!

We had an amazing stay here. Beautiful and tranquil location amongst the vineyards outside of Bordeaux. The garden felt private and the pool was delightful - our kids had the best time. Our hostess was so accommodating, attentive and very kind. Would highly recommend.
