A charming accommodation on the banks of the Charente with access to water, which is very useful in hot weather. The house is very nice and well-equipped. The spacious rooms are large and bright with good bedding. The kitchen is well-equipped (the only thing missing was wine glasses, which we couldn't find, and some extra cutlery would be nice). John also sent messages that were kind, welcoming and full of good advice. Location is great for visiting. I'd recommend it without a second thought.

Perfect stay, very pleasant setting and house, welcoming host, no complaints. We were 4 couples and 6 children. We enjoyed the layout of the house, with quiet rooms even if there is noise in the living space. The many outdoor amenities and the presence of animals (chickens, rabbits, sheep) on the property were a real plus for the children. Thank you!
