Kid-friendly holiday rentals in La Alpujarra

The house is a delight and Pitres has everything you could need. We didn't have a car and wanted for nothing. The house is spotless and the kitchen is well equipped. The house doesn't have central heating but the woodburner kept us warm and cosy. Guadalupe was so helpful and kind and we felt really welcome and at home. Highly recommend

This was a beautiful, enviable location with a magical view. The hosts were very responsive to our questions and everything worked out nicely. carpark is as they have indicated - which we chose to walk, about 30mins, not impossible and a very direct straight route once you get it. It was a unique stay!

We spent a week in Nadia's cottage and we liked it very much. It is quiet and the garden is beautiful. A real oasis to rest and recharge. Nadia is very friendly, courteous and very helpful. Highly recommended for people who simply want peace and quiet, without much action and nightlife, but enjoy hiking and exploring the rugged beauty of the Sierra Nevada. It was perfect for us! Wow. I can't say enough good things about the apartment and Beatriz. The space is well kept, very clean and has incredibly comfortable beds. The terrace is the envy of all of Granada. I don't believe there is a better view of the Alhambra. I will be recommending Beatriz's place to everyone I know visiting Granada. She is super helpful and knowledgeable.

This place is fantastic. We were 3 couples and we all had plenty of room. It’s beautiful and well appointed. The rooftop terrace has the best view of Alhambra. Our host was very attentive and helpful. She sent plenty of information that was very helpful prior to our check in. If you arrive by car you need to park in a lot 1km from the place. She gave us great instructions. From there you need to taxi or walk in. No big deal, but 2 taxis refused to take us in to the narrow street. So they may drop you 100 meters and you just walk in from there. The neighborhood is very picturesque and there is a grocery very close. Easy (but hilly) walk into town. The flat is 4 levels with lots of stairs. This was not a problem for us, (we enjoyed the privacy the different levels provided) but if you have trouble with stairs this is probably not the best choice. All in all I say “yes!!” this is a great place. Plan ahead if you want to visit Alhambra. You need to buy entry tickets well in advance online.

What a gem! If this property is available, book it and stay as long as you can! While the photos are great online, it is even better in person. Peaceful. Beautiful walks. Comfortable. Fully equipped. The gardens and plunge pool were amazing. Nick was an amazing host. We've traveled extensively with AirBNB and Nick is one of the best hosts we have ever had. He gave amazing restaurant and hiking recommendations and was very responsive. 10 out of 10. One of the best properties we have stayed at!

This unit is stunning and full of modern conveniences like motorized blackout shades, smart tv, flexible lighting options, LED fireplace and contemporary furniture. Hosts have a guide of helpful suggestions to explore, provision & enjoy. Neighborhood is quiet (unit is nearly soundproof) and parking is easy inside gate or on street.

This house is nestled near the top of a hill and offer marvelous views of the bay and beach of La Herradura. The house offers great rooms and plenty of space to share. The pool and deck offer a great place to relax and enjoy the views. Victor is a great host and provided great communication and suggestions of things to explore locally.

Friendly host Renato took the time to explain the instructions to the apartment. He even provided an explanation with a map of all the attractions in town.

We absolutely loved the location and the incredible view of the Alhambra. We felt blessed to be there!! Neighbours were fantastic also. Book this place if you get the opportunity!!

Perfect spot for a short stay in Granada—quiet, central, and everything you need within walking distance. Clean, comfortable, and a great base to explore the city. Would definitely come back!

The apartment is beautiful and comfortable to live in. The little handsome guy who greeted us was very warm and considerate. I forgot to bring the key when I went out, and he guided us to open the door by phone!Very convenient to go to the surrounding attractions, the apartment is clean and hygienic, and there are welcome cookies and coffee, butter and various condiments, very perfect!Thank you,

What a beautiful apartment! As per the photos it is just gorgeous. The location is fabulous, central to everything. We walked to The Alhambra and even to a Flamenco show in Sacromonte. Absolutely everything is walkable and once you get your bearings you realise how close everything really is. We dealt with Estela during our stay and she was super helpful with suggestions, directions and communication. We were very happy with our decision to stay there. The front bedroom can be a little noisy at night as the street below is very lively and the Spanish dine and socialize very late. If you are a light sleeper, take earplugs . The bedroom at the back is extremely quiet.

Very beautiful homestay, the host is very nice, gave us a clear and concise tour.We spent two pleasant nights here, the room was cozy and elegant, full of Spanish characteristics, and the restaurant recommended by the host was also very delicious.I would definitely recommend this listing!

Everything was fine, the only thing was that the terrace floor was a little dirty and the closet in the room smelled bad as if there was a dead bug. Everything is more than 10.

Stayed here while hiking in the national park and visiting Granada, completely loved the place! Beautiful setting in the mountains, comfortable beds, very clean, and a pool to swim after our hikes! Only issue we had was getting stuck behind a herd of goats that made us slightly late for dinner, but the funny story was well worth it.

A nice, cozy apartment with spectacular views. You can really tell that attention is paid to the details, good cleanliness and it's close to the beach!! Highly recommended;)

I loved the apartment

We had an excellent stay at Ivan's place. The building is beautiful and the rooms had lots of small and interesting Arabic and traditional elements. Also the bed was very comfy and his cats were a plus ;) All amenities were provided that were required for a 3-day stay. Although there were some stairs to climb, the apartment was easy to reach for us and within a 10 minute walk, we could reach the city center. Ivan was very nice and we managed to communicate with basic English and Spanish. Would very much recommend!

Javier's home was in an unbeatable location and super cozy. The patio overlooks a pretty fountain pool and has excellent views of the Nasrid Palace in Alhambra. Many great markets right next to the home. We would love to visit again!

The place is excellent and the apartment is excellent. One thing I really felt was not having a charging point for an electric car, a simple outlet in the garage pillar would solve the issue. Here's the tip! Voltaria fácil!

We stayed in 1A for four weeks and we can truly say that the apartment is wonderful! It was clean, beautiful, has comfortably firm beds and is centrally located in the lower Albaicin. It's uphill from the centre of Granada, but it's very walkable with average fitness levels. It is located away from the commercial area of Albaicin, so it's in a fairly quiet location. While the kitchen is basic, we found that it really had everything we needed for a bit of cooking now and then. We appreciated the supply of coffee, tea, olive oil etc. that was available to us upon arrival. The little balcony was great and we loved the view of the minaret, the lemon tree right outside and the peek-a-boo view of the Sierra Nevada in the distance. Nina (the owner) and Jamie (the caretaker) were both very friendly, responsive, and provided excellent support when needed. In short, we highly recommend this apartment as well as an extended stay in Granada! It was fantastic!

The apartment was spotless and well equipped and looked exactly as it does on the photos. It felt really safe and secure and the roof terraced was kept as clean as all the surrounding areas of the apartments. We loved where it was situated in the quiet Plaza but also so close to all the restaurants and easy to walk everywhere. We would definitely recommend staying there and would also return
