Repovesi National Park is located a couple of kilometers away. So combining cottage living with hiking is a great success. In addition to the cottage, there is a barbecue hut where you can also stay overnight. A dock and a rowboat can also be found on the beach. The place is unique: a quiet private cape and traditional Finnish handicrafts in the cottage.

Kitchen and toilet renovated in 2020. An outdoor sauna with trees on the beach, where you can carry a lake or identify. In the sauna v 2023 renovated Harvian heater. There is no indoor shower in the cabin. Kouvola, Tykkimäki and Mielakka Ski Resort are only 20-25 minutes, and less than 2 hours drive from the metropolitan area.

In the wood sauna, you get great steam, sauna water from your own spring-based well, and sleeping in complete silence makes you feel relaxed. A good wifi connection makes your remote work easy. The cottage has a composting outdoor showc and drinking water is brought, there is no drain on the side of the cottage, but the sauna has a floor drain. Cottage Kotiranta is located on the shore of Lake Saimaa on Taipalsaari. The cottage is surrounded by nature, so you can spend some time in the spacious yard playing games or observing the birds from the terrace. The cottage's yard is bordered by a beach with a gloriously deepening sand/clay bottom. There is also a pier for swimming or sunbathing. You'll have access to a rowboat, so you can fish if you want to. Many guests are delighted with the abundant fish catches.

Welcome to spend time at Villa Tihvet! Here you can relax by sauna and swimming. You can also spend time outdoors, cycling, paddling, paddleboarding or walking in the woods. Repovesi National Park's Lapinsalmi parking area is about 10 minutes' drive. The cottage is fully equipped and sleeps seven people. There is also the possibility of additional mattresses for more guests. In connection with the atmospheric sauna, it is also possible to rent a hot tub.
