Anastasia’s house is a truly rare gem ! We stayed two weeks and we can only have positive words about our experience with the house, with her owner and with this charming little island. As a matter of fact, we wish we could have stayed forever ! One should not hesitate to stay at Anastasia’s house, but make sure to respect the place ;-) PS : the little shop provides all the necessary groceries for longer stay, and the internet connexion is very good.

When we arrived the whole place was beautifully lit with all kinds of Christmas decorations, it was magical! We were greeted by the host and shown all around the property, where everything was and how everything worked. The town was only a short walk away and we were able to get taxis very easily. The beds were very warm and comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and the fireplaces was a special touch! The whole stay felt homely and magical, we are so glad we chose to stay here and if we ever come back to Alta we would definitely stay here again!

Good place to stay for the night on the way to Nordkapp or alternative to the hotels if they are full and you need to travel offshore from Hammerfest.

Great cabin for 2 families. Well equipped, good beds, clean and cozy. The hosts were very nice and easy to communicate with.

Large and airy... Good kitchen knife and good bed.. I don't need more Bonus with good view. Short distance to everything (if you have a car)

This place was perfect for us, three men in trabsfer in Alta. Spacy place and nice location, exactly what we needed for our one-night stay!

Turelv Gaard is a a fantastic and welcoming place to stay in a stunning location. We had a grest time as a family of 4 with lots of space. The sauna was a great highlight along with a refreshing dip in the stream. We were fortunate to see the northern lights and also enjoyed some skiing on the local slopes. The house is really well equipped and set out with everything you could need.

We had a very pleasant stay in Kibylodge; the house and its surroundings are lovely. Despite being spacious, the house feels comfortable and cozy, even for just two people. The amenities are well thought out, with everything you might need, and the washing machine is a particularly useful feature. The area is quiet and offers plenty of scenic spots, which are great for photography. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the premise.

Frank's place is very special and beautiful, the earth house is very cozy and comfortable. It has everything you need and is very clean. The host couple is very friendly and accommodating. The reindeer soup on the first night, by the open fireplace, was excellent. We can recommend this place without hesitation.

Stayed 3 nights at Kai’s cabin and we didn’t want to leave! It was super cozy, warm and secluded and had everything we needed. Kai is a great host and was always responsive and helpful if we needed anything

Lovely stay in Live and Hansi's cabin. The cabin is cozy and warm and has everything you need. The view can not be described, but can mention the pink midnight sun and reindeer on the beach right outside the window. Live and Hansi are really nice and helpful. Would love to come back to this gem on the beach :)

Kjell-Otto is a fantastic host and his house is simply amazing. We couldn’t ask for a better accommodation! We loved the jacuzzi just in front of the frozen lake and having dinner in the extremely well equipped kitchen. The position is amazing to discover the best ski touring spots in Finnmark! We highly recommend!!

Rustic detached house overlooking the sea and the mountains in an extremely quiet area, perfect for relaxing holidays and recreation in nature. And also ideally located for watching dancing northern lights. Ina is a very accommodating and proactive landlady who unobtrusively took care of my well-being in her house.

Perfect Stay – Highly Recommended! Our stay at Russeluft was absolutely amazing! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. Kirsten and Jon were very friendly, helpful, and always available if we had any questions. The location is perfect for nature lovers. It is close to the sea and you can go hiking on a trail that starts behind the house. We especially loved that we can see the nothern lights when looking out of the window. We felt completely at home and would love to come back.

Super nice place to stay right on the fjord. Very cozy living room with fireplace. Home looks like the pictures. Celina always responded immediately to questions and was able to help. As described, there was no water in the winter. Celina provided us with a 20 liter canister for cooking, drinking and washing. Was the perfect place to see northern lights. We'd love to come back :)

What a wonderful winter spot for an arctic adventure in Alta! We enjoyed the peaceful location and gorgeous view from the villa each day. The house served as a quiet and peaceful haven while we were home, but was easily accessible to the town and things to do in the area. The house had what we needed for our family of 5, and the sauna was a nice treat after a day of winter fun. The host was responsive and provided instructions for all the little kinks of the house's system. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful winter retreat in the Alta area.
